This lodging meets my requirements for a motel room, in order: 1. Cleanliness - no bugs, must have clean sheets, clean towels, and a clean bathroom. 2. Cost - Traveling on a budget, don't want to break the bank. 3. Comfort - good bed, soundless if feasible. If the room has a microwave, fridge, TV, desk with work chair, and an easy chair as well, the room gets extra points. The owners of this motel are charming. I had a good conversation with Bijou and Nik, finding out about what they like about Blythe, and their lives before buying the motel. I enjoyed visiting with them before going to the room. The motel is definitely budget as evidenced by it not having updated furniture and it could use some upgrades in plumbing fixtures and finishes in the rooms. However, it was far enough from traffic to be very quiet on a Saturday night, the TV had plenty of channels with a good picture, and I was able to watch the Dodgers win the World Series from an easy chair with an ottoman. It was maybe the best baseball game I ever saw. Does it get any better than that? read more

Stopped here from a round trip from CA to Arizona and I was just extremely tired to complete my drive back home. Found them on. Google search that popped up on trip advisor. This is a family operated business and the owners are extremely welcoming. I was able to get a room for me my mom and my dog. The rooms are a great size and enough walk space to put my dog crate nestled in a corner. Very quiet and clean. Rooms are old in need of maintenance and unclean. I was told by the manager that a king size bedroom was for one person so they wanted to charge us extra for a second person. They only had towels and wash cloths for one person. My wife says they're an itty-bitty teeny bar soap didn't cut it. I refuse to take a shower. It was that bad. You couldn't control the temperature on the hot water. The marquee sign on the road said that you get a free healthy breakfast that was not the case. The bed was severely uncomfortable, and only had two flat pillows. we used our Choice rewards points for this day and was asked to pay extra in cash by the management because Choice wouldn't give them what the room was worth. Otherwise I asked for a receipt when I left and they would not give me one they asked for a security deposit for damage and they did not put a hold on my credit card. They actually charged my credit card. I was told that it would take up to 21 days to get that money back. I did file a complaint with Choice rewards privileges and told them the problems that I had with the management and they opened up a case all this could've been avoided simply if I would've been given a receipt when I asked for it. The manager was rude and unhelpful. It's unfortunate. I cannot give less than one star review. read more

I have stayed in several other hotels and motels around Blythe. Rodeway Inn is by far the best value. At Rodeway Inn, the room was clean, the essentials were included, and the pool looked nice. I felt safe parking my car overnight. The property was quiet, and non-smoking rooms were really non smoking. Other locations sacrifice cleanliness, safety, noise, and smoking to be slightly less expensive. The owners are friendly and helpful. When I come back to Blythe, I will be staying here as my first choice. read more

SAFETY!!! This parking lot is wired with cameras!!! There's only one way in and out. I didn't have to worry about my vehicle (which was filled with belongings). This is the second year I've stayed here so I could be near Quartzite for the annual Gem & Mineral show, and I definitely recommend it. This place is a family owned hotel, and just from talking to them you can tell how much they care about their place and customers. One of the owners and I chatted it up about rocks & minerals, and she showed me her little garden boxes out front when I asked about them. She was so kind! The first year I needed a place in Blythe, I booked a super cheap motel nearby and was absolutely disgusted by the conditions -- after going through 4 awful rooms, I decided I had to leave. I called the Rodeway Inn late at night to see if they had any room & they got me into one of their newly renovated rooms right away! The rooms here are in good condition - I find it a happy medium between something not as nice and something high end. I've stayed in 2 rooms and both were clean, and they're nicely decorated & most have new bedding. Cleanest mattresses I've seen at any affordable hotel, and I believe they were all replaced recently. Super comfortable! & the Mini fridges were a decent size and I was able to fit all of my stuff from my large cooler inside. In the morning, the owner gave me enough ice to fill a couple of ziplocks to add to my cooler :) Again, both owners are SO kind and I'll be back again next year! read more

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rhodeway Inn & Suites in Blythe, CA, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. The customer service here is truly exceptional. Owners Biju and Nik are the heart and soul of this establishment. They are not only outgoing and conversational but also deeply committed to their guests' comfort and satisfaction. Their warmth and attentiveness make you feel right at home. I especially enjoyed our chats; they are a delight to connect with and clearly passionate about their work. The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable, warm bedding that made for a restful night's sleep. The AC worked perfectly, keeping the room at an ideal temperature. Although I only had a brief glimpse of the beautiful inground pool as I was leaving, it looked like a great spot to relax and unwind. The location of the Rhodeway Inn & Suites is incredibly convenient for travelers moving between Arizona and California, especially major cities like Phoenix and Los Angeles. I was en route to a show in LA, and this hotel proved to be the perfect halfway point, offering a comfortable and restful stop on my journey. Biju and Nik's dedication to their property extends beyond the rooms. They proudly shared their garden progress with me, and it's clear that they tend to it with the same care and love that they extend to their guests. Had a one night stay just to get rest with my boyfriend and two girls . These people will make up any excuse not to give you your deposit back they claim that we "took a remote from the second bedroom" lmao shit is so ridiculous!!! And was trying to complain about us leaving behind toothbrushes which could have easily just been tossed out and also wanted to complain about the headboard on one of the beds being moved lmao are you for real? The headboards are detached!!! and lastly she was trying to complain about a diaper which was left INSIDE a trash bag on the chair with the rest of the trash I understand if it was left out open or what not but it wasn't these people are just lazy af to do their jobs quiet honestly they want to act like they are big on hospitality but honestly aren't .... Mind you I only took in one bag with a change of clothes for myself and girls bathtub looked like it has never been cleaned towels where yellow and stiff toilet seat was nasty and yellow honestly we should have just drove another hour or two for a much better experience instead of settling for this place just because it was the only spot with conjoined bedrooms .... Great spot if you are traveling with pets. Very friendly staff and the room was super clean and recently renovated. They have a pool and dedicated pet area. (Doggos rent was $20). I will say my girl is particularly smart.... The inn has flipper type door handles. She was smart enough to figure out how to open it in less than 2 minutes it took me to go move the jeep. Nearly died when I saw the door was ajar. Looked up and she was racing across the parking lot back to me.... I think she went up to checkin to find me. We are so thankful for their hospitality! My coworker and I were stranded due to car problems with no rides to Phoenix. After checking out, we missed our bus and they returned the keys to us no questions asked. At time of checkout, our ride who was supposed arriving around 11am barely left Phoenix at 11am leaving us stranded once again for another 2 hours. The owner was so gracious and let us stay in one of our two rooms for a minimal fee while we wait. We are so grateful! read more

Our stay at Rodeway Inn & Suites in Blythe was a very nice experience. Traveling with a dog limited our options but we were well received and comfortable here. The room was large enough for the 2 of us and the bed we brought for our 70 pound lab. Our king bed was comfortable. It was chilly enough to use the window type AC/ heater combo. The room looked to be recently updated. There was outside construction in process, not active while we were there for a long weekend. The pool refurbish was in process also. The upgrades will be very nice when completed. The owners are friendly and ready to help however they can. In fact after we checked out, our car wouldn't start. Biju called a local mechanic they use and recommend and invited us to wait in the comfortable lobby as it would take a couple hours for the mechanic to finish his current call and get to us. We were offered sodas and snacks while we enjoyed a nice chat with Biju and Nik. The mechanic came and called his son to bring the truck to jump our vehicle. He checked obvious things that could be wrong and didn't find anything. He told my husband to drive the car to his shop where he could test issues that might cause a problem on the road. He didn't find anything wrong and decided we must have left a light on to drain the battery. He didn't want to charge anything but my husband gave him some $ for his time and diagnosis of peace of mind. Too bad I didn't get the nice lady at the front desk who others have mentioned in their reviews. I Got a rude man who couldn't even book a room, speaking politely and directly with him on the phone. I needed a non-dog room due to allergies and the man had a hard time understanding what I needed and then insisted that I book online. But if I book online what is the guarantee that I will receive a non-dog room? Still the rude man persisted and insisted that I book online, and even questioned WHY I didn't want to book online. Are you kidding me??? If this your idea of great service, then I am a Hungarian trapeze artist (a joke that will surely not be understood by the arrogant rude front desk). The only hiccup was trying to book the reservation from their website and get the Choice members discount. Instead I recommend to JUST CALL THEIR PHONE NUMBER DIRECTLY! 760-922-4126. One of the owners, Biju or Nik, will answer promptly and give you their best discount! Biju and Nik are the sweetest and most personable hosts we've ever had at a motel. All the rooms are newly remodeled. Love the contemporary flooring instead of carpet. Much cleaner too! I took a photo of all the wonderful amenities that's included. They haven't reintroduced the free healthy breakfast since the COVID pandemic, but we were told they hope to soon. No complaints ONLY COMPLIMENTS! Not only was this place clean, but the owners were more than accommodating. They called friends in town to help us out, gave us extra time to check out while we waited for the car to be fixed, even recommended us great places to eat on the cheap. Originally booked a Single King Bed room online, I arrived and needed 2 Queens due to addition of wife and daughter to trip, at check in I explained the update and the owner was able to accommodate the reservation and change to 2 Queen room. The rooms have a nice working AC unit, plenty of towels, the fridge size is bigger than most hotels I've stayed in, strong microwave. Bed was comfy enough for me to fall into a deep sleep and get some actual rest, super quiet as well. Only came to the area for work but now I know of good place to rest before heading into Vegas or AZ The owner of this Rodeway was super nice, chatted a bit, super nice lady who takes pride in her Hotel. Made a review of this establishment and marked as 3* originally. I left and wasn't an hour away before I got a call from the manager who asked how my stay was and if there was anything that could be improved. I mentioned that the door wouldn't latch and the room smelled like smoke. At this point, he tells me that he already read my Yelp review and he'd look into the door latch, but that he wanted me to change my review to 5* so that they can have a better average and basically coerced me to try to change my review. Went as far as to get my email so he could "follow up" with me and I get this email basically telling me what to write for a review. This is unacceptable behavior and I'll definitely be making sure the corporation knows about this! I wonder how many good reviews on here are people who caved to his coersion. read more

The room was clean but there was no clock/alarm, there was only one small soap by the sink(none for the shower), one shampoo(no conditioner or lotion). Ah, Blythe CA. If you are here you are probably working construction on the highways or driving thru. Anyhow, I've stayed in about 5 different hotels over that last few years in Blythe. This one is my favorite. The reason is, the owners CARE. Nik & Biju are really great, they are actively working on this motel, making improvements. It's very quiet and secure. I feel safe here. The price is good. Good value. Nice TV with lots of channels including some footie, which was great. It's a basic motel in Blythe, so be realistic, it's not the Bellagio. No motel in Blythe is. It's simple, it's clean, it's quiet. New owners Nik and Biju want to make sure you are happy. Great communication and concern. I'll be back, this is my new go-to motel in Blythe. I love it. We were very delayed and ended up checking in quite late. The owners were very helpful and did not seem to be bothered by our late arrival. Traveling cross country, the room had everything we needed. The shower was not used, but the A/C worked wonders. My wife said it was loud for her, but it had a lot of work to do and it's noise did not bother me. It must have been 65 degrees in that room in the morning after sleeping. They did allow us to have the bird, I think it was a small fee. Our car was parked right outside the room and they provided us a 1st floor room. The price was reasonable and I would come back again if overnight in Blythe. This place has fairly new owners and they are working hard to make this place better and better. It's far better than the Motel 6 down the road. The rooms are decently sized, everything looked clean, the bed was comfortable, and I had plenty of outlets. Also, the TV is a good size and it has plenty of channels to choose from! The location is about as good as any other place. The rates are reasonable. Everything worked fine, and even toilets were good. (ever stay at a place where the toilet clogs on even a little paper? I appreciate a good toilet!) The couple running the place are very nice and definitely work to make sure you are happy and everything is good! The A/C fan was a little loud, but these units were installed before they bought the place and they take time and money to replace, but I made the suggestion about that. The lady owner waited for me when I had to check in late, made sure I knew about the road work and how to avoid it. I'm sorry, the front desk person is the only reason this wasn't less stars. The hotel room was mostly clean. The bed was clean and so was the bathroom. There was a layer of dust on the floor and the water was a slight brown color, That didn't ever go away. Also, could have been because it was 108 outside, but the water never did get cold. The water tasted nasty, the pillows were ultra flat and only had two per bed and when asked for more would only provide two additional pillows with miss matched pillow cases. Haha. Again, not a bad hotel for the price, but not likely we would stay there again given the chance. read more
