Though the staff probably thinks I'm crazy for taking pictures at 1 and 6 am by myself, they have all been accommodating and helpful. There has never been a time I haven't passed a single worker that didn't ask me if I didn't need something. The breakfast bar is well kept, and I usually am not up to make it. The rooms and spaces between are clean and an easy check in is always a plus. I don't think you're going to get much better in Clermont for your dollar if you know how to shop. Everything works 24-7. I would recommend that you ask about the TV and the AC as I was confused until I called the front desk...but it is to be expected. If there was a walk to a beach or a massage, I might have given a 5 for the area. It is of course not a resort, but so far so good. I'll update if need be. read more

I have now been a guest at this Hampton Inn location and I must say from the first visit to my current visit everything has been exceptional. Because I normally drive over and arrive late the night staff is beyond friendly and helpful! They make the check in process so easy and always offer refreshments and anything I need to make my stay comfortable. The rooms I have stayed in are always immaculate and super accommodating, and spacious. I have stayed in several rooms with different layouts and it's always been a great experience. The breakfast is complimentary and everyday they try to switch it up which is always nice and yummy! The hotel itself is located in a great area so Clermont/Winter Garden area. There is a Panera and carrabas right next door. And we can't forget the abundance of restaurants in the area. You will not be hungry! Enjoy guys! read more

During the night there were roaches on the mattress and in the bathroom. When we reported it and asked for a discount we were given the option of moving to a new room. If there are roaches in one room there are roaches in most if not all of the rooms. The person at the desk hung up on me twice. When I asked to speak to a manager she hung up on me. This is terrible service for $185+. McKenzie at the front desk was extremely rude and threatened to call the police if we continued to ask to speak to a manager. read more

We are moving my mom into assisted living from the Villages to Clermont, she only needed one night. Beebe was the one and refused to give us a room. DO BETTER!! No other hotel gave us a problem. I am extremely disappointed at this hotel. As a female, being by herself in a hotel is scary after so many videos of people going into the room and rape them. Thank God I decided to put the latch on the door. It was around 9:45 pm, and I'm on a video call with my friend, and out of the blue, I heard someone opening my door, I'm yelling who this with no answer, obviously I am scared I'm by myself, I keep yelling who are you and nothing, then a female said is everything ok, I said yes. I asked her, why are opening my door, but there was no response, and she left. I called downstairs and told them what happened and the lady didn't believe me, she told me we only have two keys yours and the one we have here, so I told her so why someone try to open my room, she was I don't understand. Then I made a comment, maybe housekeeping ,then she said oops I'm sorry, someone put a complaint about the ac , really??? In short, DO NOT STAY HERE IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. It is not a safe place to stay. Your vehicle MORE THAN LIKELY will get broken in to. Detailed version: This hotel was a horrible experience. First and foremost, the security around the grounds and parking lot it sub par. There are ZERO cameras in the parking lot which the thugs around the area obviously know. I am here with a group of people. Out of this group, one person's truck was backed in to and has a huge dent in the tailgate, one person's tool box was opened and items stolen out of the tool box and my truck had the window busted out and several items stolen out of it. All on different occasions. I WOULD NOT park ANYWHERE near the back and I WOULD NOT leave anything I valued in my vehicle. It WILL get stolen. If you do.. Take a picture first so you can provide a copy to the police when you do the report. The worst part is.. there is NO safe or anything in the room to put any valuables. Did I mention there are no camera's at this hotel outside at all? The hotel staff are aware of the issues and claim that it isn't their problem. In my opinion, they should do everything in their power to ensure their customers vehicles are safe. Simply adding camera's would deter the thefts. Now for the rooms. The rooms are sub-par at best. I'm not a complainer but dang. The refrigerator is super small and the microwave is literally smaller than my daughters toy one. Also, there is very little storage to put your clothes. You can hang 3 or 4 shirts and there is 3 little trays to store items in. I was honestly shocked. Literally the first hotel room I've ever stayed in that doesn't have drawers. I spoke about the safe earlier. There most definitely needs to be one added to every room. With the reoccurring issues in the parking lot, you need somewhere to store your belongings. As for the staff, MOST of the staff are very nice. Today, a friend of mine posted a review about the hotel. About 10 minutes later, the Female Manager, I believe her name is Katerina, called him in reference to his review. He told her his concerns with the hotel and this appeared to upset her. I could hear her literally yelling through the phone at him about his review. He told her that was his personal opinion and that his review would not change. This ended the conversation. A few hours later, my friend gets a call from our boss. He advises him to check out and return home. When asked why, he was told that there was an issues with him and the hotel staff. There were several people present for this conversation. There was NO issue. She just didn't like the review. I think that is absolutely unprofessional at best and hope that someone, somewhere that matters reads this and rectifies her actions. In closing, I would not recommend staying here. IT will cost you MORE to stay here than to stay elsewhere with better security. I've lost a window, and several hundred dollars worth of items, my coworker has serious damage to his truck and another coworker had items stolen out of his truck as well. These are all different incidents. Did I mention that the police said this happens all the time? THERE is your sign. read more

This hotel exceeded my expectations! The staff, cleanliness, FREE breakfast which was to die for, amazing! Flew in from Philadelphia for a family wedding and was so happy to arrive after a long day of travel. The front desk host was warm, welcoming and very engaging. We chatted a while about my day and she made me feel like I was coming home. My room was spotless, spacious, and super, super clean. My bed was so comfortable I am considering buying a Hilton preferred mattress. I slept like a baby. Didn't move all night long, which is very rare. Usually toss and turn. Okay now let's talk food. Holy cow the breakfast is far more than continental. Omelette's, Belgium waffles, fresh fruit, pastries, bagels, etc! They even had a smoothie station. Incredible. This is based on my personal experience. Check-in is not till 4 pm. The rooms appear newly remodeled. There is a small fridge and microwave in room. There is free wifi available. There is NO SAFE or closet in room. My bed squeeked and rattled with the slightest movement and I did not sleep. There is free breakfast included. Teas and coffees. Make your own waffles, white breads, pre-Made cheese omelette, sausage, very cold boiled eggs, dry extremely clumpy oatmeal, cereal and apples and banana. The cutup fruits is orange and grapefruit which was empty most of the time and refilled later. Some yogurts too and juice in machine. read more

If I could give the staff of this hotel ten stars I would. After a crazy travel day I was desperately searching for a hotel in Orlando for the night. Everything is sold out so I booked a room in Clermont because it was the first one I found so I jumped on it. I arrive at the airport to find an uber was around $90 so I make a decision to rent a car. Only in Orlando for the fourth time, I begin making my way to Clermont arriving at the hotel around 12:30 am. The front desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful in getting me quickly to my room. The night was fine. Too short as we sprung forward for daylight saving time but nothing the hotel could do. :) I didn't make it to breakfast and I had only been checked out of my room for about an hour whenI received a call. After confirming my identity the gentleman told me the housekeeper had just brought him my wedding rings. I had not even realized they were not on my finger. I should have asked for everyone's name but I guess it took about five minutes to sink in what I had almost lost and when the gentleman appeared at the desk with my rings, I burst into tears and couldn't get out of there quick enough. My husband and I don't have much but these rings are a custom, irreplaceable set that mean more to me than any amount of money. In the past I have left shoes in a hotel with a fancier name never to see them again EVEN though I plan meetings there providing them with tens of thousands of dollars of business with THAT specific hotel and I had inquired about them before the day's end. You all are THE BEST!! I cannot express how much I appreciate your honesty and kindness. If I EVER have a reason to recommend your hotel I will. Had I not wandered into Clermont not so gracefully, I can't say if I would have left my rings in the hotel, BUT I can say the events falling into place as they did today only happened because of the these EXACT people. Meets Hampton Inn Standards I was doing some business on this side of Orlando and I found this hotel through the Hilton website. To be honest, I've never been to Clermont and as a native Floridian I found the terrain to be quite fascinating. This location sits on top of what is basically a mountain in Florida. The view in the surrounding area is pretty cool. This hotel meets all of the expectations that I have for Hampton inns with a few items that exceed most. For starters I visited this location October seventh and eighth, 2014 and the lobby had been decorated for Halloween, which was kind of nice, considering I was traveling on business it really made me feel a little bit more like home. The front desk staff were quite friendly and really the only negative I have here is that they didn't specifically follow the H Honors protocol when I checked in, forgetting to offer me my two bottles of water, however, I was able to retrieve them when I came back from dinner. This location is situated directly across the street from a couple of dining options and not far from several others if you have a vehicle. I was in room 205 and everything was completely on par the large screen TV swiveled enough to watch it while at the desk area the desk itself was quite nice not your standard cookie-cutter square unit but it had somewhat of a curved shape to it power outlets and a hardline Internet connection or present as well. The room also has a nice would table as you walk in the door that allows you to unpack your suitcase without throwing it on the bed which was really nice. The air-conditioning functioned well and the thermostat seem to be off by only about 3° I kept the room at 69° on the thermostat which felt like around 72° or 73°. On the darkness scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being pitch black this room sits around an eight. The clock on the microwave oven needs to be covered up, there is a gap under the door, and although there are room darkening curtains you will find that you have to fiddle with them in order to really create a blackout type situation. The only light you can't control is the green LED on the smoke alarm. The room itself was quite clean and dust free. The bathroom was spotless and the water pressure, temperature and showerhead were on par. The complimentary breakfast was on par with all Hamptons, but I found the person in charge of this area to be extremely efficient. All items look to be fresh and well-stocked. This particular location has two waffle irons and since waffles tend to be a hot ticket item, this is probably a smart idea. As for the Internet I found the wireless connections to be adequate although sitting at the desk the free wireless H honors and the AT&T SSIDs both dropped off repeatedly on my phone. I found that the hardline connection was much quicker allowing almost double the bandwidth of the wireless connection. Overall I would definitely stay at this hotel if I was visiting the area again, and have no problem recommending it for your next stay. read more

Not sure why so many people had a good experience here because that's not the case for me.... the rooms look nothing like the photos in fact the outside of the building does not even match the photo posted here. The whole building reeks of smoke, bathrooms are tiny and old, carpets are dingy and gross and I had a bug crawling around the bed when I checked in. The walls are so thin that I could hear someone else's tv while I was trying to sleep. Even heard some alarms going off the next morning. Definitely would not come back here especially for $200 a night. read more

We had a little trouble settling down for the night, as the first room we got had a noisy air conditioner. We went back down to the lobby and got another room, but in this one the a/c had a problem and the room was hot. Again we went downstairs and got another room that was just fine. Pretty typical Hampton Inn. It was more expensive than it was worth but what are you going to do when you need a room in Clermont? You can walk to a couple of restaurants which is nice. The breakfast hours run until 10am which is also nice if you had a rough night earlier. We had a large group that was getting loud in the atrium so the staff let us use an empty meeting room to dampen the sound for other guests. I thought that was thoughtful. read more

We left Westgate Lakes because it was awful--- Thank goodness we were lucky to find this Hampton Inn in Clermont. Bibi at the front desk was so kind and accommodating. She is an asset to this company because her customer service skills were excellent. The room was is spacious and clean. The pool was delightful and they had a chair lift by the pool, so my handicap daughter could go in pool without help! I highly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed. read more

I was disappointed with our stay. The bathroom door locked with my granddaughter in it. It took 30+ minutes to get the door opened. We then couldn't close the door. Upon arising we found that our keys wouldn't unlock the entry door. No discount was given, no apology, no questions about service. I am writing this review on behalf of my mother and her husband whose age is around 80. All I have to say to the staff there is wow!!!!! My mother booked a room there coming from the west palm area due to Hurricane Irma coming. She was there for one night when management came to tell them that they would not be able to stay and that they would have to leave on Sunday morning ( the day Irma is hitting Florida) and on top of that told them to find a shelter and that they would not be able to stay in the lobby!!!! On top of this her husband has health concerns which prevent him from moving around or driving. How the staff at Hampton Inn be so rude and unaccomodating during such a scary time is absolutely disgusting. Usually when a hurricane that is category 4 or 5, people usually band together and help each other, that was not the case with staff there. They also deactivated their room key so if they both left the room they would not be able to return. As a result my mom left there today driving around Florida for another place to stay with the storm hitting tomorrow.....I am very saddened by this situation as I am praying that they be safe as well as all of Florida!!!! read more
