This is one of our favorite hotels to stay in! Great pool, fitness center, and complimentary breakfast - a standard baseline for the Hampton Inns we say at. But this location has staff that truly go above and beyond and are consistently hospitable. They greet you and greet you like (a well-adjusted) family! Their lobby has an inviting fireplace and is immaculately cleaned. Their suited rooms are perfect for a family like ours with two adults needing to connect remotely to get things done. The living room and kitchen is a lifesaver! The room has a 2-top table perfect for all sorts of projects and hanging out. Love this place - always a must stay for us! Thank you for your continued hospitality!

While the amenities around the hotel are nice, the stay itself is mediocre. They don't tell you that the 1st floor is actually "the basement", whereas the 2nd floor is where you'll walk into to check in. The rooms downstairs are dark, as is the hallway and the view from our window was trash, as you can see by the picture. This hotel is overpriced when compared to other Hiltons at similar location.

    The floors are dirty

This whole hotel needs an upgrade The floor is from the rooms are disgusting They're super black Customer service needs to improve The rooms, the bedsheets, the bathrooms, the counters Wish we could leave But it's so late already Hopefully, we don't catch anything I do not recommend this place

We stayed here for one night at the end of May. We had researched it a bit before booking to ensure it had ample parking space since we were towing a 14' cargo trailer. In addition, this hotel is also very convenient to the Northern Arizona University campus. The hotel is decorated with a cabin type feel and appears to be very clean and well taken care of. We did notice that the hallways to the rooms were considerably darker than we have seen in most other hotels. Our room was located on the 5th floor and there are multiple elevators throughout the property which is nice. Our room was a 1-room suite and was very spacious and well appointed, it even had a fireplace! We really enjoyed our time here and it was just what we needed. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable and we slept well. Would highly recommend to others!

Just a note - Rooms starting 1XX are located downstairs, not at the lobby level. The lobby is actually the 2nd floor. My stay started out well... the front desk staff was working smoothly and quickly in checking in guests.  The problem began when we got to our room and I wanted to cook dinner from the leftovers from the previous day.  We had a kitchenette with a 2 burner stove, microwave and full fridge.  We got plates, bowls, cups, utensils... but nothing to cook it on... looked like Hampton got robbed by a dime store cook.  I had to call up to the front desk to get a pot and pan. Room 105 is a 1 bedroom with 2 queen bed suite.  There is plenty of space, actually there is a large amount of space.  We initially thought the room was really clean, then I noticed that by the AC unit in the living room, there were pine leaves (they were dried and brown) that blended in with the carpet. The gym is small, with 1 stepper/elliptical, 1 treadmill and 1 bike.  There is an inclined bench and some dumbbells, but the bench is not locking/unlocking  properly.  There is no area to stretch.  The room is small and no one turned on the AC or ventilation.  In times of covid it might be smart to leave the fan on for circulation. The indoor pool is near the gym.  The pool area is really nice and roomy. There is a Walmart anchored shopping area right across the street so you can always pick up anything that you are missing. Day 1 breakfast is boot camp style scrambled eggs and maple syrup sausage patty. Day 2 breakfast a repeat of yesterday... interesting.... Just a safety point - the breakfast area is a bit cramped and social distancing was not in place... nor is mask wearing.  I did not see any additional cleaning or wiping down between seatings. Mask wearing by patrons were not required or enforced if required.

The highway noise is terrible! Booked a 2 night stay and it sounds like we are in the middle of the freeway. Would not stay here again.

We decided to complete our spontaneous journey by booking a hotel once we arrived in Flagstaff. We decided to book at Hotel Elev8 as it offered great amenities at an acceptable price point. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff. Check in was a breeze. When we went to our room, we entered through a side entrance as recommended by the front desk staff. From the main hallway- I was a bit surprised by an abundance of maid carts and extension cords for the vacuums strung out all over the floor. I saw this as a major liability of a guest were to trip over a cord. The hotel does not have an elevator, which could pose an issue for some guests. This did not bother us though. Our room was clean, and updated. I was very impressed by how nice of a room it was considering the low price we paid. I loved that there was a 24 hour gym, sauna, large hot tub and pool on the property. All in all, I feel that this hotel was well worth it for the price. We would definitely book another room here in the future.

It's a downright rip off. $40 EXTRA for an $80 room, that's a 50% premium just because I have a dog. I asked what the outrageous fee was for and they could not give me an answer other than 'extra cleaning' which we all know is total BS. Housekeeping does absolutely nothing different because there was a pet in the room. Policies like this are just a blatant rip off. Anyways we went up the street to Days Inn where they don't charge exorbitant pet fees.

He seems mentally unbalanced and is not a good face for the business. I made a reservation online and arrived with a small camper in tow. Blue immediately assured me that it wouldn't be possible for me to park anywhere on the premises, though I'd already paid to stay the night. When I asked "surely you aren't that busy, the parking lot has many open spaces", he raised his voice to yell at me that as a policy they do not accept oversized vehicles and I needed to find somewhere else to stay. I am a young woman traveling alone and grown men yelling at me is scary, so I left the premises to find another hotel to stay at. I called the agency I booked the hotel through to cancel the reservation. Blue reassured them on the phone that he can't do a refund because one guest can only take up 2 parking spaces. My car and camper can detach and take up exactly 2 spaces. This detail would have been helpful to hear initially instead of being yelled at and shooed away so I could resolve the situation. Because I booked another hotel room at Blue's insistence, and then he refused me a refund. I returned to the hotel to clarify with Blue that I would have liked to know the bit about being able to take up 2 parking spots because I could have fixed the problem and stayed there instead of paying for 2 hotels, but he started raising his voice at me, telling me the blatant lie that he "was trying to tell me that, but I wouldn't listen", and continued to scream at me to get off his property. As long as this man is working here, I'd recommend staying far away from this business. I've added some photos of the space in the parking lot for reference.

This was two items they charged an extra $50 for. The "fan" was supposed to cool the room after 30 minutes but blew hot air out no matter what setting. This demonstrated lack of any oversight or care that a room in such deplorable conditions was even offered to a paying guest. I demanded my money back or that they make it right. We paid for a 6 night stay. The next room they moved us to was much better. The microwave was clean and the fridge worked. Turned on the "fan" and the room cooled to near freezing. We stayed our 6 nights. I believe this place has a long term stay area were there are sketchy people that I see holding signs on street corners. And I firmly believe they have substandard conditions there because they claimed their air conditioning was broken. Maybe in that one building but no fan will ever cool a room to near freezing. That's air conditioning. I believe they have a guest section where everything works and then a long term stay where they could care less that anything works. The location is convenient to a highway, Walmart, fast food and restaurants. Parking is plentiful. After a certain time you must speak to a kiosk with someone on video as the front desk is installed.

So when we had to travel to Flagstaff again for some appointments at the end of Feb this year, we figured things would be same. We had booked through Priceline a queen room in a smoking room as we vape. When we checked in, the woman was very nice and check in was fine. Our room however was not good. It was 2 double beds. One of the lights didn't work. The lights that did work had two different light shades. There was something very sticky dropped on the floor that hot water couldn't even get off the floor. One of the lamp shades was broken. The TV got maybe 10 tv channels. There was a dirty crusty washcloth hanging on the shower curtain bar. The beds were pretty hard. The biggest downfall of the room was how hot the room was. When we checked in, it was really warm, so we pushed the ancient (falling off the wall) thermostat all the way to cool and turned on the fan. Instead of cooling the room, it got to over 90 degrees. We woke up at 4 am dying in the heat. We had to open the door and let the cold air in to cool off the room. We were not able to sleep after. At checkout, you don't actually check out with a real person, it's a kiosk with someone across the world. It is so impersonation. I believe since Motel 6 has been acquired by Oyo, they have gone downhill. Also, look into the air vent. Ours shows the filter had not been changed since November 2024.
