Had an enjoyable stay at this Hampton Inn. It is a dog friendly property and they offer little (and big) treats for your doggo at the front desk. Note that if your dog has some mobility problems it might be harder for them to get around parts of the property as the landscaping has rock mulch surrounding the various trees and plants. My little dog had a recent leg injury and it was hard for him to balance while walking on such uneven terrain when we took him outside. There are plenty of paved areas though but my dog is pretty stubborn about sniffing the entire grounds lol. If you do bring your dog it is an extra $75 fee for short stays. If you have the Hilton app you are able to check in and also choose your room before arriving which was helpful since we wanted a room on the ground floor for easier access to take our dog outside. Be aware that the first floor is actually below ground level, and it's also the floor that the fitness center and indoor pool are. We were originally assigned to the first floor but I changed it to a room on the ground level/second floor. The room we had was overall very quiet and we only heard occasional guests from the hallway but no sounds from the neighboring rooms. I think part of this is because the TV in the rooms is mounted to a wall panel that is part of the dresser and probably absorbs sound. Our two queen bed room had clean comfy sheets. There was a mini fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom came with plenty of towels and was a shower/tub combo. Hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are bottled and attached to the wall and counter. The products are Zero brand and were good to use. Breakfast is from 6-9 and includes hot foods such as bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, oatmeal and a make your own waffle station with two types of batter. Our options were berry and vanilla flavor when we were staying here. Other foods included hard boiled eggs, cereal, baked goods, bananas, and apples. Juice, milk, coffee and tea packets are also included. Quite a lot of variety, right? The scrambled eggs tasted a little weird to me so I opted for a hard boiled egg on the second breakfast day which worked out well. I also enjoyed the oatmeal, which comes with various toppings such as dried cranberries, brown sugar, and walnuts. The overall condition of the room was good enough. It was clean and comfy, although some elements in the bathroom such as the door could use a replacement or remodel as it looked like the edges were warped from water damage/moisture. This was the first time using a digital key and I had mixed results with it. On the one hand it's nice that you can open your doors with your phone but when I tried to use it, it took more time to use than simply having a physical card key. In the pool especially, it took a while for the app to load and I had to try the digital key several times before it would actually work. Next time I stay here I will opt for a physical key card unless the app significantly improves on performance. read more

I always like Hampton Inn and have stayed at many across the US. I love how they have a nice coffee/ water / tea station in the lobby area! And the breakfast in the mornings. This makes every stay at Hampton Inn amazing great value. Free parking. Pet Friendly I say the rooms at this Hampton Inn were smaller and I wish there was a place to sit besides the desk chair. We had a great time at this hotel! I got a deal on Priceline. Our room was spacious and the couch with pull out bed was really helpful for our family. The breakfast was great and there were rotating flavors for the waffles (Star Spangled Berry, Malt Vanilla, Chocolate, and Apple Cinnamon). The elevators seemed to take long but that's not a huge issue. Lots of family staying there and still parking was available. Highly recommend for families! read more

Solid 3 star hotel in Flagstaff. Hampton Inn is a decent chain, similar to Holiday Inn in terms of price, size, and amenities. It's a great mid-range hotel. Everything was clean and comfortable. Probably could use some upgrades in areas, but it also wasn't super old/outdated either. It's not high end, fancy or bougie. It's great for travelers or families. Temperature control in the room seemed good, that's always one of my biggest concerns but I was not disappointed. They offered free breakfast too which was fine. I would not expect full service meal here, but they had grab-and-go options as well as some hot foods. It was all tasty and seemed well staffed/serviced. The eating area is on the smaller side, but it was adequate for our needs and not too busy when we stopped in. Maybe certain times of year/day are harder but again this is a mid-range hotel so you can't be too harsh. Parking was easy and free which is always a plus. The area felt safe and it was super convenient for nearby restaurants though you definitely need a car here. Would definitely stay here again if traveling back to flagstaff! read more

This is a nice Hampton Inn. Located very close to Flagstaff, this Hampton Inn has a lot of seating space for work in the lobby, laundry, a pool, elevators, and a gym. Rooms were clean and service was helpful. Left a piece of jewelry in the room after check out and the staff were more than happy to let us look for it and it was found! This is one of our favorite hotels to stay in! Great pool, fitness center, and complimentary breakfast - a standard baseline for the Hampton Inns we say at. But this location has staff that truly go above and beyond and are consistently hospitable. They greet you and greet you like (a well-adjusted) family! Their lobby has an inviting fireplace and is immaculately cleaned. Their suited rooms are perfect for a family like ours with two adults needing to connect remotely to get things done. ALL AREAS ARE REVIEWED 1-5, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. Reservations-5- Made in the app with points. Be aware there are two Hilton properties essentially next to each other, this one is the closest to the freeway Parking-5- Readily available with a Sizzler in the parking lot. Room-2-While the room was a decent size and the Tv was a decent size we were unable to sleep at all due to the constant freeway noise. To say that it was loud is an understatement. Between the semi-trucks, motorcycles, and Fast & Furious it was like sleeping on a flight line. I recommend making sure that you book/choose a room in the opposite side from the freeway as that should help mitigate the noise. Mattress/pillows-5-Comfortable as always. Elevator speed/availability-n/a Worked well. Gym/pool-n/a didn't have the opportunity to use. Restaurant-5- Free breakfast was great Staff-4-Normal Price-4-Seemed normal for the area. While the amenities around the hotel are nice, the stay itself is mediocre. They don't tell you that the 1st floor is actually "the basement", whereas the 2nd floor is where you'll walk into to check in. The rooms downstairs are dark, as is the hallway and the view from our window was trash, as you can see by the picture. Check in was great, very nice lady. Great location, near I-40. That's as far as the good goes. Prices alittle high. Beds are terrible and pillows too. We have already paid for 2nd night or I would choose another hotel. Air conditioner makes noise too. Updating this during the night, unable to sleep on terrible bed and itchy but don't think I will do a second night. We were going to spend day at Sedona but after not sleeping I'm ready to head out even if forfeit money for room. This is definitely on my do not stay, the next time driving through. We stayed here for one night at the end of May. We had researched it a bit before booking to ensure it had ample parking space since we were towing a 14' cargo trailer. In addition, this hotel is also very convenient to the Northern Arizona University campus. The hotel is decorated with a cabin type feel and appears to be very clean and well taken care of. We did notice that the hallways to the rooms were considerably darker than we have seen in most other hotels. Our room was located on the 5th floor and there are multiple elevators throughout the property which is nice. Our room was a 1-room suite and was very spacious and well appointed, it even had a fireplace! We really enjoyed our time here and it was just what we needed. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable and we slept well. Would highly recommend to others! read more

Getting a room with a king-sized bed was a bit of a challenge; guess we had a communication problem. But, weeks later, check-in was a breeze. That was Thai. Check-out was even better. I think that was also Tai, but I can't swear to it. I've got my Folio but it doesn't show any employee's name. This is a GREAT location! It is at the Interstate entrance/exit and down the street from Northern Arizona Uni. The hotel shares a parking lot with a gas station / mini-mart, Del Taco and Sizzler. Olive Garden and Red Lobster are a block away. There are local (versus national chains) restaurants 2.5 blocks away: Over Easy, a great breakfast place, and Taverna which offers Mediterranean cuisine and a top-notch bar. There is also a small grocery store and a Staples nearby. It's also a good location because most of the Grand Canyon tours will pick you up from here. We all know that this is a Hampton Inn; it's not a Four Seasons. Therefore, I won't list all of my observations/notes about little things. I will, however, say that this is the worst toilet paper I have ever used in my entire 69 years of life! It's a really crappy way (pun fully intended) to cut costs. The TP is single ply and rough, rough, rough. It's truly horrible. There is a free breakfast each morning. It's something. We skipped it yesterday, intentionally, to indulge in Lemon Ricotta Pancakes at Over Easy. I'd had them during a prior visit and wanted them again. I also recommend their crepes. But today I did get coffee, juice and a bowl of oatmeal from the hotel. The oatmeal was the perfect food to eat before a long drive of several hours. read more

Just a note - Rooms starting 1XX are located downstairs, not at the lobby level. The lobby is actually the 2nd floor. My stay started out well... the front desk staff was working smoothly and quickly in checking in guests.  The problem began when we got to our room and I wanted to cook dinner from the leftovers from the previous day.  We had a kitchenette with a 2 burner stove, microwave and full fridge.  We got plates, bowls, cups, utensils... but nothing to cook it on... looked like Hampton got robbed by a dime store cook.  I had to call up to the front desk to get a pot and pan. Room 105 is a 1 bedroom with 2 queen bed suite.  There is plenty of space, actually there is a large amount of space.  We initially thought the room was really clean, then I noticed that by the AC unit in the living room, there were pine leaves (they were dried and brown) that blended in with the carpet. The gym is small, with 1 stepper/elliptical, 1 treadmill and 1 bike.  There is an inclined bench and some dumbbells, but the bench is not locking/unlocking  properly.  There is no area to stretch.  The room is small and no one turned on the AC or ventilation.  In times of covid it might be smart to leave the fan on for circulation. The indoor pool is near the gym.  The pool area is really nice and roomy. There is a Walmart anchored shopping area right across the street so you can always pick up anything that you are missing. Day 1 breakfast is boot camp style scrambled eggs and maple syrup sausage patty. Day 2 breakfast a repeat of yesterday... interesting.... Just a safety point - the breakfast area is a bit cramped and social distancing was not in place... nor is mask wearing.  I did not see any additional cleaning or wiping down between seatings. Mask wearing by patrons were not required or enforced if required. read more

Basically quite good. I was surprised that many motels these days apparently don't clean the rooms every day... now you have to request it. So bougie! My name was on the screen when I checked in. I felt so fancy being here. I loved how everything was clean and so comfortable. The food in the morning was amazing and filled with variety choices. The pillows were soooo comfy. I just did not like how hot and cold the room would get. The AC had a timer that was 20 seconds to blow cold air and 15 minutes being off before it did it again. My guest and I were really uncomfortable with the room during the night. But other than that it's perfect for families. I came for a business trip and was satisfied. read more

Morning/Breakfast crew was rude and they closed breakfast and coffee at 9 AM sharp. Area was small and crowded. They refused to refill waffle mix before 9 AM then refilled after it closed so staff could eat in a prvate but open section. They also had a very tacky tip jar out. read more

We had an incredible experience at Hampton Inn & Suites during a very busy weekend. Out stay was to celebrate our son's graduation and it appeared the Inn & Suites was sold out. Ryan from the Hampton was so kind and patient with not just us but so many others I saw and overheard him encounter. We stay in Hilton properties because they don't use a lot of harsh chemicals and cleaners. However, our room here had recently been deep-cleaned with a chemical that made my wife very ill and had her vomiting all night. The shower is designed so poorly that there's no way to turn on the water without being IN the shower...so you get blasted with ice cold water. I had to put towels down all over the tile floor in the bathroom and part of the sleeping area because it was sticky. The toilet seat wouldn't stay up on its own...you had to hold it up yourself. All of the towels and bedding smelled so strongly of bleach that it caused nasty headaches. This is NOT a hotel I would recommend to ANYONE! read more

Most, if not all, Hampton Inns are never a letdown for me. Stayed two nights here on my Route 66 trip. This one was set up kind of oddly, as the lobby is located on the second, or middle level. So is the breakfast area. That really wasn't a probably for me, but may throw some people off. Continental breakfast was great as always. Pool is located on the bottom floor. The pool was the perfect temp, since it kind of co-exists with the hot tub, like some of the hot tub water flows into the pool! Attendants were very friendly, and they seemed happy to hear my kind words at the end. Tip: they own the property where the Sizzler, Del Taco and some gas station are so anyone is welcome to park in those places. read more

I immediately left the room and went to the front desk. The lady was nice, but not overly concerned at all. She offered a new room, I declined and requested a refund of my stay. Great spot for a travel hotel! It has a nice cabin vibe to it with several switch operated fireplaces. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff did a fantastic job of accommodations for my allergies to feathers and replaced the bedding before I got there. They were also very friendly and helpful. A couple of the towels had stains, but the others were fluffy and clean. Breakfast is okay, really just eggs, sausage, and bagels/bread and small things like yogurt and cereal - nothing exciting but still complimentary and does whats needed. There are a few things they could update, but mostly just from wear and tear. The location is also great for adventures! Close to the Arizona Meteor Crash Site, Grand Canyon, your in a forrest by the mountains( with moose- yes we saw one) and other great things to do. I have lifetime Diamond status with Hilton and stay in Hampton Inns often, so I know what to expect from them. For the price of rooms, this one was extremely disappointing. There was food left in the fridge from the prior guest. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. There were only 4 tissues in the tissue box. The breakfast options were awful. The only upside is that it had a great view of the mountains. When we stayed, they were charging ~$300 a night for rooms, which is an absurd price for a room of this quality and with this many issues. read more

The highway noise is terrible! Booked a 2 night stay and it sounds like we are in the middle of the freeway. Would not stay here again.

The rooms were ok. The staff, extremelyunfriendlyand rude.. I got up early and went to get some coffee. There were associates that were working the front desk. They were completing their grave yard shift. I kindly asked them about the surrounding areas. Crime, stuff to do, how they liked living in AZ, here in Flagstaff. The female told me she hated it. I asked her why and she didn't reply and just said she hated it. So I asked the male front desk agent and he he also stated he didn't like it. Thenhe told me I was asking too many questions. I was like ... woah. So I advised him that I came down here to buy a large piece of land and wanted to ask about crime and the things that go on in the neighborhood. So I advised him that I'll do my own research and ask some real locals on what happens here and maybe they can assist me. So, based off that experiece, I will never, ever stay at this hotel or any that are partners with them. I could belive how rude these to were. Sooo negative and not friendly what so ever. I tripped out on rude they were. So I told him I'd ask someone else smd that I asked God to bless him. The rooms are OK. They were clean. There are homeless people that walk the parking lot at night so lock up. The freaks do come out at night so lock up. The staff, the way I was treated, very unprofessional and rude. This will be the last time I ever stay here and will advised other to do the same. Sharing my experiece with everyone, so that they don't get treated like the way I was. Arizona so far, has been a a great stay. I think it's beautiful out here. But these 2, they will try to rob you of your joy as they tried to do with me. Jesus and I had to advise satan of the trut . Cozy hotel and suite room comes with a gas fire place and a small kitchen, perfect for an extended weekend stay. Standard Hampton inn breakfast is included, nothing fancy but it's free. Suite room kitchen is not that big but adequate for two or three people. Living room sofa turns into a bed for the third person. It was nice to have a place to hangout after dinner. We had a bottle of wine, fire place and enjoyed a warm room while playing card games. read more

Came up to Flagstaff to play in the snow, and this was our home base for one night. Check in was a breeze. I had utilized their online check in and had already had my room picked and everything. The front desk lady was very nice and very fast. I was at the counter for maybe 2 minutes, tops. Got our keys, and went to our room. Comfy beds, and pillows. Nice bathroom. Tv with tons of channels. Good heater in the room. Can't say anything bad about the room. The only thing I would change next time though, is to pick a room on a higher floor. The lobby is on floor 2, and we had to take the elevator down to floor 1. Our room was literally right on the street. Noise wasn't a factor, but if you wanted to chill with your blinds open, people walking down the street could look right in. No big deal, just be aware if you pick a bottom level floor, this may happen to you, too (We were in room 119, for reference). Tons of free parking out front. Restaurants all around the hotel. Good location! Really enjoyed our stay here and will come back to this hotel again, when we come back up to Flagstaff. Easy to get to, friendly staff, and nice clean rooms make this a great choice to stay at while in the area! read more

Sketchy area near Northern Arizona University. Many homeless and transient people hanging around. The narrow parking spaces are horrible because there's a Del Taco restaurant adjacent to the hotel. A Chevron Gas Station and a Denny's restaurant all very near to the hotel. The hotel is built into a hillside so you enter on the 2nd floor. If you are claustrophobic DO NOT select a room on the first floor because the one window looks out to a below ground level space with little sunlight. Now for the best part...someone keyed the hood of my SUV overnight. There are signs pointing to additional parking across from the Chevron Gas station where two guys on either end of the median are panhandling for money. Many construction type heavy duty vehicles with some pulling trailers scattered across the lot with some diagonally parked over several spaces. Very basic breakfast. If you're hungry for eggs waffle/pancakes bacon/sausage potatoes/hash...you won't find it here. Fortunately we found comfort at the Chapel of the Holy Cross later that morning read more

We came up for a polar express weekend and my daughter was very excited about all the decorations, including a Santa on a covered wagon in true Arizona style. Location was close to NAU and walking distance to the local movie theater and chain restaurants. Free breakfast was an impressive spread with eggs, waffles, pastries, cereal, bagels and fruit, and nothing was out, even with a very full house. We had a suite with a kitchen and an adjacent room, which was plenty of space for the 6 of us. A couple of downsides took away from the experience. read more

As far as Hilton-based hotel in Flagstaff goes, this is probably the best one to stay at. Super nice & knowledgable staff. Slowish elevator. Really nice & clean king room with jet tub in the corner. Everything was booked out in Sedona, and this place fell perfect on my radar (Sedona is only about 40 minutes away) Folks, another great hotel! The good reviews on this hotel do this place justice, and are true. A simple basic room, very clean and simple, but perfect for a good nights rest. Extra hot showers and an excellent hot breakfast in the morning. The breakfast reception was busy, but you could easily find a seat. I sat in front of one of the many fireplaces inside and drank gallons of coffee. Bagels and cream cheese, cereals, eggs, sausage... the standard in chain hotels, but this hotel obviously took pride in itself, especially the people that worked there. When a man wearing a nice button up suit is changing the trash bags in the breakfast area and helping in the kitchen with the staff, something good is going on at this hotel... I have stayed here a few times for business, and nothing terribly wrong with it, but I have had trouble keeping connected to Wifi. And one visit I checked in to my room and something was wrong with the door jam and you could see into the room through the lower half of the door jam even with the door closed but they were kind enough to relocate me to another room because, well, I like my privacy, like most people. read more
