I got caught in a huge snow storm on my way thru Flagstaff and stayed there two extra nights due to road closures. The front desk staff was so accommodating and it was the perfect place to be snowed in! They have fabulous places to work throughout the hotel. It was nice to get out of my room and have a nice place to work for a few hours. They also have a complimentary happy hour every night. The manager came by to say hello and talk to the guests. I can't thank them enough for their hospitality!

I rate the Drury Inn & Suites in Flagstaff a solid five stars. There were three of us so I booked a room that would fit 3 people. I booked the 2 Room Terrace Suite 2 Queen Beds. Overall the room was very nice. Super spacious, very clean, everything was good quality, good water pressure, comfortable beds, good AC and the breakfast included was very good. The hotel was very affordable, located in a great area and the people I dealt with at the counter were very friendly and professional.

I would recommend this location. My husband and I had a good experience, Marcella was our front desk attendant and she was amazing, and very helpful. The hotel was under construction, so parking was a little difficult to figure out and a little unclear. Construction started at 8 am, but we were warned and it didn't bother us! Breakfast was good. Our only complaint is we had hair all over our shower walls, and we could hear the man in the room next to us snoring.

In town for a conference at the adjacent NAU and Drury was the hotel with the conference rate. The room itself was standard, a bit rundown but it was clean. We were happy to find a microwave and a mini fridge in there. What blew me away was all the food included. We were welcomed with the smell of freshly popped popcorn in the lobby at check in. They offer free hot breakfast every morning which includes the usual: coffee, tea, juice, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, continental breakfast items, waffles AND sausage, potatoes, eggs, biscuits and gravy and tortillas! We were informed at check in they have a "5:30 kickback" with 3 drinks per person and "heavy appetizers". That was really generous! Heavy appetizers ended up being a full blown dinner. One night they had pasta, chicken, baked potatoes, salad, veggies. A second night was a nacho bar with the works. I think every night they have hot dogs. It won't win any James Beard awards or Michelin stars but it gets the job done. No frills hotel. The food perks alone are a great deal for a budget conscious family!

I have stayed at this Drury location a handful of times with my recent visit being this past week. I really like it for the location being so close to downtown and the perks are hard to beat The benefits of a covered parking garage with room key access into the garage and out, hotel access from the parking garage, breakfast, and dinner light bites and 3 drinks per person! My shower was leaking and there were some stains on the edge of my bed but other than that this place is pretty nice!

We've stayed in a lot of hotels and prefer Drury. This hotel was nice, had a really good atmosphere inside the lobby, plenty of indoor seating and the garage parking was nice. Rooms were nice, clean, and serviced daily with awesome views. Had the typical free breakfast and the best free "happy hour" of any other hotel property. Staff was exceptional as usual. Never had a bad stay at any Drury.

Blue, the front desk associate, has some of the worst communication skills I've seen in customer…read moreservice. He is extremely hostile and quick to raise his voice to yell at customers. He seems mentally unbalanced and is not a good face for the business. I made a reservation online and arrived with a small camper in tow. Blue immediately assured me that it wouldn't be possible for me to park anywhere on the premises, though I'd already paid to stay the night. When I asked "surely you aren't that busy, the parking lot has many open spaces", he raised his voice to yell at me that as a policy they do not accept oversized vehicles and I needed to find somewhere else to stay. I am a young woman traveling alone and grown men yelling at me is scary, so I left the premises to find another hotel to stay at. I called the agency I booked the hotel through to cancel the reservation. Blue reassured them on the phone that he can't do a refund because one guest can only take up 2 parking spaces. My car and camper can detach and take up exactly 2 spaces. This detail would have been helpful to hear initially instead of being yelled at and shooed away so I could resolve the situation. Because I booked another hotel room at Blue's insistence, and then he refused me a refund. I returned to the hotel to clarify with Blue that I would have liked to know the bit about being able to take up 2 parking spots because I could have fixed the problem and stayed there instead of paying for 2 hotels, but he started raising his voice at me, telling me the blatant lie that he "was trying to tell me that, but I wouldn't listen", and continued to scream at me to get off his property. As long as this man is working here, I'd recommend staying far away from this business. I've added some photos of the space in the parking lot for reference.

The staff when I arrived was nice and welcoming. Lee was working and she's absolutely wonderful. This being said- I switched rooms three times within the first 10 minutes. First room was cleanish but smelled of smoke and although it's listed as smoke free- the room next to it was cracked a foot and there was a man smoking in his doorway. The second rooms beds were made but the bedding was unusually wrinkled, I pulled both back and there was body fluids and tons of hair all over the sheets. The third room that we actually stayed in under the repeated phrase of "it's just one night and we don't have to shower", the linens were clean but it was gross. Phone had dirt all over it and was sticky, there was crumbs all over the floor (didn't realize it until I took my socks off and walked to the bathroom and then we put shoes on anytime we walked on the floors afterwards), there is dirt build up everywhere and in every nook and cranny of the room, it looks like at one point they painted or resealed bathtubs and they are all peeling, there is stuff wiped all over the walls, the elevator/stairs/everywhere that's a common area is gross. The people diagonal under us were outside drinking and being loud until at least 2am. Never again. I already cancelled our two upcoming reservations we had there.

This was two items they charged an extra $50 for. The "fan" was supposed to cool the room after 30 minutes but blew hot air out no matter what setting. This demonstrated lack of any oversight or care that a room in such deplorable conditions was even offered to a paying guest. I demanded my money back or that they make it right. We paid for a 6 night stay. The next room they moved us to was much better. The microwave was clean and the fridge worked. Turned on the "fan" and the room cooled to near freezing. We stayed our 6 nights. I believe this place has a long term stay area were there are sketchy people that I see holding signs on street corners. And I firmly believe they have substandard conditions there because they claimed their air conditioning was broken. Maybe in that one building but no fan will ever cool a room to near freezing. That's air conditioning. I believe they have a guest section where everything works and then a long term stay where they could care less that anything works. The location is convenient to a highway, Walmart, fast food and restaurants. Parking is plentiful. After a certain time you must speak to a kiosk with someone on video as the front desk is installed.

A man appeared on kiosk and said he needed to get someone to inspect the room before we get deposit back. Waiting nearly 30 plus minutes. A half asleep man looked on room and left. I told him I took pictures also, he didn't even bother to close the door. I told him door was open. Back in lobby hubby was waiting for deposit. The screen man says after 7 when front desk get there. We needed to get on road. Finally he's letting us get our cash deposit back. Never again will we stop here again. Over 45 years motel 6 is always our choice. The motel 6 list is getting pretty thin.
