Anyone that follows me on social media would know that I love Hilton Hotels. As far as rewards for loyalty go, their Honors program is the best offering the most benefits to its members. That's why on my recent tour promoting my new book The Art of Taking It Easy, I made sure that I stayed exclusively at Hilton owned chains. Hamptons are great and reliable, the rooms are always comfortable and my family loves to take advantage of the pool and gym. Breakfast includes fresh fruit juices and smoothies and is served late, which is nice for those of us that like to sleep in. BONUS This location is right across the street from the Barnes & Noble where I was scheduled to appear. Whenever you can, stay Hampton and make sure you get those points. Mostly quiet. Grab n go snack bags for guests. Coffee available. I experienced a couple tiny insects in my room. I went unphased. Mr. Quinton was very accommodating to our special requests for seperated payments.

I was in town for one night. This hotel is in a great location because it's close to the highway, mall, shopping plazas, and restaurants. The lobby/dining is modern with darker wood finishes and furniture in different shades of blue. The customer service from the front desk associate was exceptional! He was friendly and attentive and check in was a breeze. The business center has MAC computers. I liked my room and the bed was super comfy. I loved the bathroom door with the mirror--it was on a slide and covered the bathroom or the closet. The breakfast had the typical hotel breakfast items, oatmeal, cereal, mixed fruit, omelettes, sausage links, bread, muffins, hard boiled eggs, a waffle maker, etc. I would stay here again!

Nice size room with outdated furnishings. The AC and WiFi worked well. The bed was comfortable. Free cookies in the lobby. Free breakfast was good enough. Easy off from and on to the freeway. All the employees err nice.

We stopped here on our way back to Florida from DC. We were impressed from the second we walked through the door. The staff was very friendly and the lobby was cozy. It looks like the hotel has been recently renovated. Our room was huge and very nicely decorated. We had a kitchenette area, a living room with a sofa bed, a large hallway with a sink, a large bedroom with a king bed & a huge bathroom. It was the nicest Hampton Inn we had ever stayed in. The breakfast area was very clean and nicely organized. There are many restaurants nearby and some that are walkable. We walked to a Mexican restaurant we found on Yelp called La Bamba and had a fabulous meal. I highly recommend this hotel!

This Hampton Inn is awesome! A hidden gem in Florence! A great experience!

I am very particular and have stayed in places that range from unsafe dumpy hotels to the Ritz Carlton. This Hampton Inn was fantastic! There are some real dives in Florence and I have been stopping there for twenty years on my way to and from Myrtle Beach. This is my new "go to" place. I was so pleasantly surprised and wish I knew about this Hampton Inn and Suites years ago. I would give them six stars if I could! Please keep up the great work!

Had a problem with bathroom and had to change rooms. The mattress was very worn and uncomfortable. The hotel overall was dated and worn.

Avoid this hotel! Rude staff, beds were horrible with broken springs, bedding worn, and barely warm water in shower.

There are several restaurants within walking distance (we dined at the Mexican restaurant next door last night) and many others within a short drive. My King room is large and comfortable. There are USB outlets in convenient locations. The bed was very comfortable. My room, as well as the hallway, lobby, and elevator was very clean. The only minor issue is that the dryer is out of order. A very nice place to stay!

Inside the lobby area is a small snack area for purchasing items and free coffee + tea area with sugar station and hot water. The check in process was extremely fast and friendly. The elevator is very much a ride at Universal Studios with a rocky screech landing. But safe overall is kinda funny tho but not. The hallways were clean and well kept. The room was very spacious and I liked that they had a shelf to put your key cards and luggage. They had spacious desks, lots of lighting throughout and a dual shade option to blackout the room for sleep. The coffee/tea bar has a Keurig maker, but leaked mini water bottles to make the coffee. The beds were comfy and the shower was good. The bathroom lighting is quite harsh but there is a motion censored nightlight. By the TV is a cool curved touch light with European outlets. There are plenty of outlets with both standard and USB outlets. The only tiny thing i would add is a charging pad on the counters in case ppl forget their chargers. TIP: Turn the knob all the way to the left to get to the hot water. Now let's talk breakfast - skip it if you like cool lackluster potatoes and eggs. The only saving grace is the coffee, instant oatmeal, oikos yogurt, and dry cereals. There are also a few places to eat up the road if bfast is important. TIP: If you go behind the breakfast area in the main lobby area, you can sit in a less crowded area near the business center. Check out was just as fast and easy. I've would definitely go here again!

Hampton Inn Florence Room 428 | Monday, February 16…read more I'll let the other reviews handle the standard checklist items. I'm here to talk about the subjective stuff -- the comfort factors that can make or break a night on the road. The king bed? MASSIVE. Basically a campground for two adults. Plenty of space, very comfortable. Now the nuanced bits. The room had more ambient light than I prefer -- tough to get it fully dark. The pillows were small and slightly lumpy, and the sheets felt thin. Shower water pressure was mid, and the hot water didn't quite reach my personal "steam therapy" setting. Towels were a 6-7 out of 10: softer than DoubleTree, but not as oversized. I do travel prepared, though. I've got an Amazon sleep mask that is straight-up lights-out defense. Once I put that on? Out cold. And just when I thought the sleep mask had secured the victory, two trains decided to blast their horns at 1:40 a.m. and 4:41 a.m. ‍ Bottom line: solid for a one-night stop. But if you're sensitive to light, pillows, or shower pressure like I am, those details matter.

My bottom line for this stay was that it is probably the best I-95 place I have stayed at period. Good temperature control in the room. VERY large room. Quiet. It might not be a destination, but it certainly is a great place to call it a night on your way to a destination.

Conveniently located not far from Buc-ee's, a mall, and restaurants. Staff is very courteous and professional. Room is spacious with microwave, fridge, and coffee machine. Spacious bathroom, sink, and shower. What I like about the shower is the knob is by the sliding glass door so you can get the right temperature before jumping in. I also love the lavender and eucalyptus scent of the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Very invigorating. Bed is very comfortable. Gym is nice and clean. Not too big. It has treadmills and elliptical machines, dumbbells, and stability ball. It opens 24 hours. Complimentary breakfast: good selections from bagel, bread, cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, waffle maker, turkey sausages. Oatmeal is perfectly cooked. It's unsweetened so it's healthy. They provide various toppings such as brown sugar, dried cranberries, nuts. The scrambled egg is not too salty and not watery. I really enjoyed my healthy breakfast. You can also grab bananas and oranges. The plates and bowls are made with sturdy paper so they are environmentally friendly. At the breakfast station they also offer variety of juices, teas, and coffee including decaf. I definitely come back to stay.

Easy to get spoiled when you've stayed at some of the better Marriott resorts and boutique hotels. My main beef is the same as it is with many properties in this price range. Tub showers and no handheld shower head. At this particular property room - my biggest issue and it's so avoidable. An unusable iron. And I had no time to call for a new one. Just wanted to iron a shirt to take to a meeting. I only need a long sleeve type shirt on so many days/meetings but when you do you want a clean iron Also I hate these little coffee makers. At least this one was fairly clean. Would like to see all new hotels in this range to have mostly walk in showers! Maybe a few with tubs for people traveling with kids, but I don't know many people who want to take a bath at a hotel. Nespresso machine for coffee, and a premium mattress.
