Very nice comfortable hotel. Located right off the 95 going south There's a mid size fridge in the room with a kitchenette sink microwave and dishes cups and glasses utensils and toaster Very convenient for a family of 4 or 6. We got the 2 queen size room that come with a sofa bed also for another 2 Enjoyed our stay Plenty of space and very roomy Contactless check in and virtual key. Which makes check-in experience so much faster and easier

    2nd Elevator was down everyday.

This will serve as a cautionary tale and warning for you to book elsewhere when visiting the Florence area. This was my 2nd stay at a Hilton property as I am a dedicated Mariott Bonvoy Member. This experience serves as an example of why I do not stay at Hilton properties. The outside appearance of the property is inviting, but the rooms are a filthy nightmare. I was able to check in with the mobile key and traveled with my mother who is in her 60's and my chihuahua. This is a pet-friendly hotel, but that should not mean that pet owners have to resort to staying in filthy guest rooms. Our room appeared to have not been properly cleaned in months! The amount of grime around the sink and toilet was an atrocity. The room never once smelled fresh, the lobby and common areas as well. Just an old stale odor. This is never the case at Mariott properties. The staff were friendly, but it is clear to me that the " Hilton Clean" standard is not being put into practice here. We stayed in 218. The elevator was down the entire 2 nights. A hassle. The bed linens did not smell or appear fresh. The beds were not made correctly. It appeared as though housekeeping rushed to prep the room. The layout of the Queen Suite is cramped and not well thought out. The bathroom and kitchen being small quarters. The fridge directly behind the door is stupid and a hassle. The door to the bathroom being directly in front of the shower is a joke as well. Small tight quarters. They did a half ass renovation as well. Adding a new sink etc. but keeping old shower tile that is crumbling. The pillows were flat with no support. I just stopped using them after awhile. The mattresses were old, had no springs/ support. It felt like sleeping on concrete. I walked my dog in the back field allocated for pets. Someone dumped a whole fruit platter on the lawn that was never cleaned up. If your pet should eat the moldy fruit, they would get ill while you traveled. This is how I know they don't clean the grounds or property daily. Avoid this property at all costs ! It was too expensive for the poor experience and disappointing stay. Upon checking out, the front desk staff never once asked me how my stay was. This was a first and last for me at this property and Hilton as a company. I would like a full refund and will remain loyal to Mariott going forward for my travel lodging. You live, learn and help others make well informed decisions.

This Home2Suites in Florence is just a little east of I-95 and beginning and end of I-20. It is located in a busy area and looks like the area is building up too. My overnight visit here was on August 27, 2022. After a day of driving, it was nice to get off the road for the night. We would make it home the following day. The road to the hotel (W Radio Dr.) was the first "exit" off of I-20B (I-20 Business). Getting here wasn't too bad, as you could also see the building when coming down the road. The first time coming in, we almost turned into the entrance before the hotel, but we did get in at the right entrance. There was ample parking when we came in, so after getting parked, I went inside to get checked in. After that, I went up to the room (422) to check things out. On all initial check, everything seemed to be in order, so I went back down to let everyone else know all was good and we got a cart to bring our stuff up to the room. Masks are not required to be worn on this property. The room that we were in was a corner room on the 4th floor, so it was a bigger room than some of the other non-corner rooms. The setup was the same as any other Home2Suites that I have been to in the past. My niece wanted to sleep on the sofa bed that night, so we went into the drawer to get the items needed for it. However, there was only a blanket in there. I figured that maybe it was just a fluke and went down to the front desk to ask them for linens and such for the sofa bed. We would head out to get something for dinner, but it was in there when we got back. After we got back from dinner, I took some time to explore the hotel grounds, both inside and outside. They have several patio and seating areas outside, along with an area with a fire pit. The pool is indoors, but just outside the door from there, there is a patio area and some grills. Back inside, the Spin2Cycle (exercise) room was next to the pool area. The area is a nice size with lots of equipment available. The lobby area is a nice size as well. There is plenty of indoor seating, and there is a breakfast area as well there. The "business center" is also in the lobby area of the hotel. When you turn left from the main lobby when coming in, at the end of the hallway there is a Game Room. There are two TVs and several consoles to play games with as well. On the first floor there just past the lobby, there is also a guest laundry area when going to the right after you come in through the main entrance. So, for the grounds, they had quite a bit to offer for just about anyone. After checking out the hotel and getting back to the room, I prepared to take and shower and then did so. Although I wouldn't know it at first, I would find a few issues after getting into the shower and starting to shower. When I went to use the body wash, the cover kept falling off, so something wasn't fixed with that. Next, as I started to shower, I noticed there were hairs on the inside of the door. That's not something you want to see. Anyways, after showering, I got myself together and went into the left drawer to get the hair dryer. When I opened the drawer, there were lots of long hairs in there too. Just as a final check, I looked in the other drawer, which was empty, also had hairs in there too. I definitely think whoever was "cleaning" the room cut lots of corners. Unfortunately, it didn't end there. After the sun went down and had some lights on, I saw some shiny things on the carpet. It was glitter, and quite a bit of it. Again, someone from housekeeping definitely did not do their job this time. I went down to the front desk to let them know what was going on in the room (glitter, hairs in the shower and drawers, and body wash cover in the shower). They let me know that they would be noting the account and looking to have the points used for the stay to be refunded. The hotel was full that night, so even if they wanted to move us to another room, they couldn't do that. They even let me know too that I wasn't the only that had those types of issues that evening too. As for the beds, the beds were clean and actually quite comfortable. I actually had a really good sleep that night. The following morning, I went down to the breakfast area to see what they had. They did have bacon that day, so that was a plus, as I am not a fan of sausage. I did have some orange juice as well. My mom and niece would wake up a bit later, but they wanted to get going since we would finally be home later that day. Upon checkout, I did let them know again about what happened the night before. It was more of a reminder. After a few attempts, I spoke with a manager and they are getting the refund processed. This is why I bumped it up to 3 stars instead of 2. Hopefully things will be better in the future with new management on the horizon.

EXCELLENT! On my way to Florida we stopped at this hotel and what a pleasant surprise! We got two rooms and they were huge and sparkling clean (smelling great) . Matter of fact the entire hotel looks terrific and well taking care. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well. The breakfast was a real treat let me tellya,..., Lots of options between sandwiches, omelets, waffles etc. If I am not mistaken we paid $20 dollars more than the competitors nearby and was worth every penny! From now on I will always look for the Home2 Suites! Highly recommend to everyone, specially if you are traveling with kids.

I wouldn't give this hotel one star ,but it made me! Disgusting stained bed linens, tissue thin sheets that don't even fit! Constant running air conditioning, even when turned off...at both places. All my complaints were brought to the front desk in the morning, and the woman clerk, didn't move much of a muscle from her perch behind the counter. She told me to wait till the manager comes in at 8:30 if I wanted to pursue this complaint. We're Traveling!!! Why would we wait Over 2 hours? She obviously did not feel any concern for our complaints. I even showed her all the disgusting pictures! Nope. She told us to wait. We DID NOT! Driving from NJ-Fl !! I'm not even discussing the breakfast offered ...it looked and tasted like vomit. No Lie some kind of cheese sauce over melted eggs vegs and unknown meat This definitely put a "stain" on my loyalty for Hilton. When in Florence, SC, DO NOT ENTER HOME 2 Suites

Inside the lobby area is a small snack area for purchasing items and free coffee + tea area with sugar station and hot water. The check in process was extremely fast and friendly. The elevator is very much a ride at Universal Studios with a rocky screech landing. But safe overall is kinda funny tho but not. The hallways were clean and well kept. The room was very spacious and I liked that they had a shelf to put your key cards and luggage. They had spacious desks, lots of lighting throughout and a dual shade option to blackout the room for sleep. The coffee/tea bar has a Keurig maker, but leaked mini water bottles to make the coffee. The beds were comfy and the shower was good. The bathroom lighting is quite harsh but there is a motion censored nightlight. By the TV is a cool curved touch light with European outlets. There are plenty of outlets with both standard and USB outlets. The only tiny thing i would add is a charging pad on the counters in case ppl forget their chargers. TIP: Turn the knob all the way to the left to get to the hot water. Now let's talk breakfast - skip it if you like cool lackluster potatoes and eggs. The only saving grace is the coffee, instant oatmeal, oikos yogurt, and dry cereals. There are also a few places to eat up the road if bfast is important. TIP: If you go behind the breakfast area in the main lobby area, you can sit in a less crowded area near the business center. Check out was just as fast and easy. I've would definitely go here again!

I'm here to talk about the subjective stuff -- the comfort factors that can make or break a night on the road. The king bed? MASSIVE. Basically a campground for two adults. Plenty of space, very comfortable. Now the nuanced bits. The room had more ambient light than I prefer -- tough to get it fully dark. The pillows were small and slightly lumpy, and the sheets felt thin. Shower water pressure was mid, and the hot water didn't quite reach my personal "steam therapy" setting. Towels were a 6-7 out of 10: softer than DoubleTree, but not as oversized. I do travel prepared, though. I've got an Amazon sleep mask that is straight-up lights-out defense. Once I put that on? Out cold. And just when I thought the sleep mask had secured the victory, two trains decided to blast their horns at 1:40 a.m. and 4:41 a.m. ‍ Bottom line: solid for a one-night stop. But if you're sensitive to light, pillows, or shower pressure like I am, those details matter.

My bottom line for this stay was that it is probably the best I-95 place I have stayed at period. Good temperature control in the room. VERY large room. Quiet. Easy to get spoiled when you've stayed at some of the better Marriott resorts and boutique hotels. My main beef is the same as it is with many properties in this price range. Tub showers and no handheld shower head. At this particular property room - my biggest issue and it's so avoidable. An unusable iron. And I had no time to call for a new one.
