Floors in the room were dirty
    Kimmy J.

Staff was really friendly and accommodating. Location is great. And the shower was nice too. The only problem we had was bad enough we wouldn't stay here again - the floors were so gross! The room looked clean at face value, but when my baby would crawl around in the room, his knees and hands and feet would be filthy. Who even knows the last time these floors were shampooed. They were actually sticky. I can't recommend this place for that reason. Shame, since we were so satisfied with everything else! They even put together the pack and play for us, instead of just dropping it off in the room. Hopefully they can fix this!

I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff was very helpful, the pool was wonderful and the gym has everything you need for a pretty solid work out. There are several great restaurants within a 7 min drive and a lot of little shops in the old town square. If you need anything at all during your stay, just ask Josh or J.P., either of them will be happy to assist you. Next time I am in Georgetown, I will be staying here.

This is our experience. Yours may be different. Booked a room for three nights. Arrived at 11pmish and checked in. All was well. Went to the room and it was as the last visitor left it. They appeared to be a heavy sleeper or very "active" wink wink. Went down for another room. "The computer shows that room is clean". The University of my Eyes says otherwise. Called manager. Talks in Spanish ensued in front of us. Knowing Spanish the question back in Spanish was "how do you say bi@/h" (meaning my wife referring to herself) who handled this. Referring to her as "the woman" this and that...It's just rude. They apologized and after much negotiation the price was dropped and two pints of ice cream added. Went from 1 to 4 stars. Ok. Then asked for a printout to verify the agreement. No can do. The "system" is slow or some other reason. Took a photo of the screen for posterity. Back to 2 stars. Something is wrong here. The room was clean and issue free. Four stars. Left the room late two days in a row and typically housekeeping comes back around. They did not. Down to two stars. On the last day we caught the housekeeper and asked to have the room serviced and she did. Up to three stars. Observations: for a few hours doing work in the main area featured a stream of complaints from other guests, mainly about variable charges. I guess the printer had issues. Wink wink. Clearly something is amiss with this location. Down to two stars. I was tempted to say "do you know I'm a Yelp Elite?" But then I remembered that South Park episode and desisted. Not really. But I was a little tempted. We arrived late the last night and asked for the final invoice as we had to leave at 4am. The charges were correct as agreed upon but I question that if we had not taken a photo we'd be in line with the other patrons. We will never know. Won't be back.

The food was genuinely excellent, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. The bed was also a standout -- more comfortable than what I've experienced at most four-star hotels. I also loved the in-room Nespresso machine, which was a great touch. The only drawbacks are the location and setting. It's not ideal if you want to be close to a more metropolitan, walkable area, and being right on the creek means there can be quite a few bugs, especially in the evening. Overall, I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing, stylish getaway with great food and very comfortable rooms.

This charming, quaint boutique hotel is located in a residential neighborhood in Round Rock, TX. The Ruby Hotel & Bar is situated along Brushy Creek in historic downtown Round Rock. The hotel has 39 uniquely designed rooms and suites, in the suburbs of Austin, TX. The hotel blends mid-century modern design with natural surroundings, creating a chic vibe. The property is distinctly divided into to major buildings...the hotel and the bar. There is a random small building up front also...not sure what that buildings for. There is also outdoor seating, which would be pleasant in the summer. Last night we had freezing temperatures, so sub-optimal for seating outside. When we entered the bar, we felt transported to another place in time. Retro looking furniture at the entry with finger dialed phones...my nieces and nephews would likely not have any idea what these little machines called telephones were. The bar was a mix of old - building built in the 1960s....new - modern mirrors and bar. There was signage at the front of the bar that stated to seat yourself and place your order from the bar (different set up...for sure). We ordered the hummus plate minus pita bread plus more cucumbers. Alan, our server was very accommodating to make that switch. We had herbal hot tea (chamomile and pomegranate berry). We listened to the 3 person band, who sang music from Johnny Cash to Bob Marley and so many different genres in between. What a lovely evening...date night score!

Not only is the house beautiful, the interior of the house is warm and inviting. Our room was spacious and relaxing. Our bed was so comfortable, it was hard to get out of bed. (In a very good way). The house has a great backyard, with plenty of mature pecan trees that provides plenty of shade so you can sit outside and relax. The property has beautiful landscaping, and really helps you decompress. Danni and Mark manage the B&B, and they live on site. Danni is very friendly and she goes out of her way to make sure everyone is is having a great experience. Danni creates some of the best breakfasts that we have ever had, and her creations could be on any fine dining menu. We met Jeannie, the owner, and she was very nice. We also met some great guests, and one couple lives near us. We really connected and we will be going to lunch with them in two weeks. We will definitely go back and visit on our next trip to Georgetown.

If you are visiting people living in the retirement community of Sun City, then this hotel is convenient and comfortable for the stay. We had several members of the family stay here. The first floor is reserved for those who might need accessible features in their room or for those who have pets. This location allows hotel guests to bring their dogs, but you must make your reservation in advance to ensure that one of the limited dog-friendly rooms is available. Also, there is a daily charge of $20 for the pet. We were originally going to bring ours, but in the end chose to board them in a facility at home. We ended up on the third floor. There is an elevator in the middle of the interior of the building for accessing the second and third floors. You'll either have a view of the parking lot, or if you are lucky, a view of the pool. Sadly, ours was of the cars and asphalt. No matter, it was so hot, we kept the shades closed the entire time. Our A/C window unit seemed to struggle to keep our king suite cool. August is brutally hot in Texas, and the humidity made things sticky and even more miserable. I wanted it cooler and my husband did not, so we compromised by putting the unit at 68 degrees and me fetching another blanket from the front desk for my husband. We also left the bathroom fan on to help reduce the humidity in the room and kept the bathroom door shut to help the fan work more efficiently in clearing out the humid air. The king suite couch was small and low to the ground. It reminds me of an old beat up one that you might find in a fraternity house. Yeah, I didn't want to sit on it because it didn't look inviting, but I tried it out because the only other choice was the desk computer chair or the living room table which were actually two poofs or ottomans. Perhaps good for putting your feet up or allowing additional guests a place to pop a squat, but not great for setting down a cup with coffee or the like. The outdoor pool is rectangular in shape. It had steps on one end and even had an accessibility lift on the other end so that all patrons could enjoy it. The pool is gated for safety reasons. I like that they had a variety of patio furniture to hangout and enjoy it. There are lounge chairs for those wanting to layout as well as tables and chairs for those wanting to sit up and visit. There is a cabinet where you can easily grab a towel to dry off and a bin for placing the used ones. The towels have a color coded stripe on the end that designates them as pool towels and not ones that go in guest rooms. Breakfast included the usual hot and cold items such as eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffle maker, cereal, yogurt, juice, and coffee. Despite the usual offerings, I was disappointed in the hot breakfast. The eggs were round and possibly from a box mix. They were not good. It's hard to mess up on eggs, but these were so bad, we didn't breakfast here again opting instead to eat in town. There is a small convenience store next to the front desk that allows you to buy soda and snacks from the staff. Overall our stay here was fine, but not necessarily a place I'm pining to return to, and definitely not a place where I would want to spend a holiday vacation.

We aren't technologically challenged, so, definitely not user error. We ended up reinstalling the app and starting from scratch. The entry is a bit odd. Parking is free & the lot is well-lit with decent sized spots. Arrival went well with us getting in shortly before midnight & hitting the bed right away. It was a corner room & was quiet. The bed was decent, room was well-cleaned, and in good repair. We greatly appreciated the charging station bed-side. Lightning was adequate. The tub is very shallow & wide. We only showered, so, can't speak to how well it holds water. Speaking of water, we were given 2 bottles at check in. Breakfast is included. They use real eggs, so, bump up for that. Otherwise, as expected- not very hot, buffet style. Sausage, gravy, bacon, biscuits, fried & boiled eggs - waffle machine, breads/ pastries, spreads, yogurt, juices, cereal, all the usual. Emailed receipt was sent right away. Checkout was easy.

The bed was slightly uncomfortable because I could feel the springs but I was still able to sleep fine. We used the pool twice and it wasn't crowded at all. It had a few lounge chairs and several regular chairs. The staff made sure to keep the towels stocked when they knew we were headed to the pool. There was also a gym but we didn't check it out. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety including a fountain drink machine. I liked making the Texas shaped waffles. My only rec would be more fruit options. Check out was simple by putting the key card at the front desk. I would definitely consider coming back for another stay.

We found our room to be clean, spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like a bedside table with light and charger next to each side of the bed, not just the inside of each bed. This is often not the case in other hotels. The rooms seemed well planned, with a sleeper sofa, a good sized and fully-stocked kitchenette, a ton of storage to accommodate every traveler in the room, and a regular desk area with a separate portable rolling desk, which could easily accommodate two people working in the room at the same time. The bathroom was bright and spacious with a walk-in shower instead of a tub, which would be easy for elderly travelers to use. (Grab bar and non-slippery surfaces as well.) There was coffee and tea available 24/7 in the spacious lobby, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff was absolutely fantastic, and very responsive to questions/requests. Our room was on the ground level and probably should have some type of translucent shade for privacy from the parking lot (other than just a room darkening shade,) but this is a small constructive criticism as it is hard to complain when everything else was so far beyond our expectations!
