Don't. Just don't. I booked a King Executive Upgraded Suite Nonsmoking. When I checked in, they gave me a standard room with 2 queen beds. I went back down to the check in desk, they apologized and then gave me a standard room with 1 king bed. Undeterred, I went back down again and was told I would need to pay an additional $10 per night to get a suite. I refused and the manager relented and finally gave me the suite. When I booked the room with corporate, I was told the bathroom in the room would have a Jacquzzi tub. When I got to the 3rd room with no Jacquzzi, I went down to complain for a 3rd time and was told there are no jetted tubs on property besides the hot tub. Wow. It was late and we went to bed. We were in town for a bowling tournament and needed to be on the road by 7:15 each morning. Breakfast is supposed to start at 7:00. It was not until 7:15 on Saturday morning that most of the hot stuff came out and we had to leave. The pancake machine never worked the whole time we were there, which is a big selling point for my 6-year-old and I. We had to pay for breakfast at the bowling alley. One of the whole points of staying with Holiday Inn Express is that breakfast is included. That night we discovered was appeared to be a tissue besides the couch. We complained about it to the front desk first thing the next morning and we were told we needed to fill out a form to get our room cleaned. Sorry, should we have filled out a form before our stay to ensure we got a clean room? Crazy. We filled out the form and went out for the day. We returned that afternoon and the tissue was still there. We complained because clearly they didn't thoroughly clean the room because they knew exactly where to look and didn't get that. So we called on the room phone for a manager and were told the lady at the check in desk was the only one on duty. She came up and we explained the situation. It was approximately 4:45 p.m. and she said housekeeping was leaving at 5:00 p.m. and would take care of it; she called the room to verify this a few minutes later. We went out to dinner at approximate 5:15 and told the lady at checking who had been helping us no one had showed up. She said they would. When we came back, it was cleaned up. I had been trying to call corporate about the issues we have had since Friday. I was put on hold for 1 or 2 hours and would give up. I put in a call on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and was told the wait was 19 minutes and I could hang up and they would call me back when it was my turn. I never received a call back. I was fed up this morning at 9:00 so I called back. I was still in the queue!! I held for 2 hours. At 11:00 a.m., 19 hours later, a live person answered. I told him the whole issue, basically I feel like they just wanted me to get the completely incorrect thing and not complain because they have made it as hard as possible. The hotel itself didn't care. Corporate left me on hold for 19 hours, so they clearly don't care. He let me know he would send a message to the hotel and to the ownership level but there was no guarantee they'd even respond to me. I asked could he please have someone at the ownership level contact me, but that wasn't possible. I tried to put in my issues through the app on Friday night and again on Saturday, but it does not appear to be possible until after your visit. I would think they would prefer to take care of a customer while they're still a customer and not after the fact when you're completely done with the whole company. I have been an IHG member since 2014. Never again. read more

When at a hotel, your guest asks, for one thing, more than anything else, and that is towels. At no single moment, we're towels ever available. It is currently noon; my kids play in the pool, and guess what? No towels are ready. Now I didn't know this, but when you have multiple days to stay in this hotel, housekeeping does not come and make your bed or clean the room unless you request it. Isn't that a part of housekeeping duties? My wife wanted to stay here because her family was. I'm a Hilton franchise type of fellow myself. I will never stay here again. **Update** Housekeeping took all of our dirty towels but didn't replace them with clean ones. My wife went to the front desk to get more towels, and like before, they didn't have anymore. My wife went outside with some. family members just to come back in and are the hotel front desk worker handing towels out to another guest. My Wife was wholly outraged at this and made it even easier for us never to spend another dime or night in this establishment. read more

Arrived at 2am due to home air conditioning not working in middle of the night,so we did not inspect the room. We saw dark hairs on the tub in the morning. For all the cleaning for Covid-19, pretty surprising. The breakfast is two sugary items and small bottle of water in paper bag. Hot coffee is available. The beds are comfortable. The staff was friendly. They have a handy shop for snacks. The room was clean was cleaned each day despite COVID restrictions. The bed was comfortable. They delivered extra pillows to the room when I asked for them at check-in. The room has good amenities. One criticism would be that there are no rental movies available on the TV. They are offering hot breakfast. The only reason I gave them four stars instead of five was that the breakfast was pretty disgusting. The sausages were tasteless and it was like eating shoe leather. And the scrambled eggs were dry and hard. read more

I was treated so unbelievably bad at the Days Inn one business down that I literally called this hotel and they immediately apologized for the pathetic business practices at the days inn and offered me a room immediately. Tori was beyond kind, helpful and immediately made me feel comfortable and welcome here at the Holiday Inn Express. Stayed here for a conference last week and it was my first time Texas. The room was clean, but did have broken lighting fixtures and a very loud air conditioner. But that's not what I found to be the most disconcerting. When I checked out and arrived home, I found to be covered in what appeared to be bed bug bites. I did not feel the bites until the following day, but it can only be described as a head to toe mauling. If you stay here, do a thorough inspection of the room for critters. read more

CLEAN! Bed: body supported yet soft... Not too firm. Pillows give you option for firm or soft. That's pretty cool. Parking lot large enough for 26 foot. moving truck and car trailer. Great access to the freeway. Quiet. Michelle O made checking in to the hotel a lot of fun! We enjoyed all interaction with hotel staff. Indoor pool is a good size, clean with a hot tub. Surprisingly nice for a Holiday Inn Express. To be fair, I've never stayed in a "bad" one, but this one is very well put together. Modern and inviting lobby, and excellent customer service. Prices tend to be average and/or competitive for the segment at about $99.00. Good location right off the Highway, next to plenty of food and shopping locations. I have been staying at Holiday Inn Express for the past few years and have never had a problem. This time my toilet got clogged up and it took forever for maintenance to fix the problem. clean and quiet (at least when I was there). I'm a hotel snob and was hesitant to stay here, but was pleasantly surprised. The room was a good size with a good layout and nice big bathroom. It was also refreshing to not have to pay for WiFi. It makes me crazy when hotels charge for that! It was a little hard to find- my phone's map sent me to their old location, and getting to the new location was hard to navigate in the dark. The room was also soooo humid that it was hard to do my hair in the morning. If I need to stay in Georgetown again, I'll stay here. read more

I'm trying to set up a wedding in Georgetown from all the way from California. That means trying to reserve a block of 40 rooms through a lot of phone calls. Several hotels in georgetown and round rock have been super helpful and I've talked to the majority of them. I have been trying to reach this Holiday Inn's director of group sales for weeks and have never gotten a call back. I've left at least 5 messages and I've been calling every morning for the past 4 days and Stephanie always transfers me to Craig's phone, but I always get his voicemail. Ill leave a message every other day but haven't gotten a call back yet. So unprofessional and so annoying. They most definitely won't be getting my business ever. Worst holiday inn. We stayed here with a large group and they were very good about keeping us near each other! The room was large and nicely decorated, it had a nice little kitchen area with a sink, fridge, and microwave. It was small but I liked that there was paper plates, plastic utensils, and paper towels! The pool was very nice as well, they didn't keep it stocked very well with towels but it was open until 11. The morning time was a tad loud if you like to sleep in. Also there isn't any where to eat within walking distance which was a tad disappointing but they do have a nice breakfast if you get up in time. read more

I check in and get to my room and there is no remote for the t.v. I call down to the front desk to ket the concierge know I need one. She says she will get me one or move my room. I waited for an hour. After several attempts to call down to the front desk, with no one answering, I give up. I want to watch t.v. , because there are tornado warnings in the area. Had a pleasant stay. Room was very clean and everything in the room worked well. The bathroom was nice and not industrial feeling like some hotels. It was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was nice, about what to expect, but the eggs were horrible. There was a good selection of fruit and yogurt and the coffee was hot and good. Wifi was free and fast as it should be in a hotel. I will be returning to Georgetown from time to time and I will be staying here again. read more

I was disappointed, I found the staff to be unprofessional and not friendly. Very poor customer service, the front desk doesn't answer the phone, they did not greet me as a rewards customer and they did not turn on the exterior lights when it got dark which was dangerous. There is a Holiday Inn Express in Round Rock that's much better and just a few miles down the road which I will stay at if I'm ever back in the area. read more

Family came for the holidays and stayed here. Nice place. Had an issue with the bathtub drain. A woman (name escapes me) with the maintenance crew came right up, fixed it in no time at all and took the time to explain how it works to my curious nephew who hovered over her the entire time and peppered her with 500 questions about everything under the sun. If I could rate this with a negative rating I would. I'm really disappointed in this place I had made reservations thru Orbitz for the Holiday Inn & Suites in Georgetown, Texas for two of our installers, for their own rooms with a king bed. The guys had a late arrival but when they arrived they were told by the front desk clerk that the hotel only had one room with two beds for them. They checked the guys into that room with two queen size beds but the next day, they showed the second reservation as a "No Show" and refuse to give us a refund for the room that they didn't have reserved for us.... I don't recommend anyone staying at this Holiday Inn & Suites hotel in Georgetown, Texas. Beware... They won't honor a reservation made on line and then they will list it as a "No Show" the next morning. Furthermore I suggest NEVER use Orbitz to book your lodging on line. If you have a problem, they won't help you get your refund. They'll reach out to hotel and ask, but they will only relay information received from the hotel management and will not fight for you to get your refund. Orbitz will not do ANYTHING to dispute this other than check with the hotel manager and pass along their decision that the hotel made about not willing to grant us a refund. Make note to self and other travelers.... NEVER, EVER stay at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Georgetown, Texas and NEVER, EVER use Orbitz. They'll both screw you! read more
