Had a fine night for one night on our way back home. Hotel was clean. The bed was comfortable. We used the app for the key and check in as we were arriving late. That was really nice and convenient. There was a breakfast at the hotel. However if you are gluten free and/or vegan there is not anything there for you. But there was hot food available. Felt the hotel was plenty comfortable and modern. Was easy to get in and out of parking lot. Would come back if I were in the area again. read more

I just spent 3 days at the Hampton Inn in Rifle, CO, this location is old and in bad need of updating. The shower pan had a large Crack in it, mold along each corner, the ceiling had a large worn out patch from a leak. Very dirty, it took about 15 minutes of running the water for it get slightly warm. When asked by text how is your stay, I let them know but nothing came of it. I went to the front desk, they are sold due to Memorial weekend. I asked for the shower to cleaned, which didn't help with the mold build up. Then later in the afternoon on my 3rd day stay a room became available. I asked to see it first before moving. The shower had missing caulking all around and mold build up as well. Needless to say the staff was polite but the rooms are in need to repairs and no amount of cleaning is going to help without updates. Hilton is huge company and unfortunately in smaller demographic areas like Rifle it doesn't matter to big businesses. read more

Stayed here just one night on a road trip. Very familiar with Hampton Inn around the country. They can be a bit touch and go these days. This one was clean enough, but very dated. Tile is cracked, showers have permanent stains, carpet is old and a bit gross. -- Staff **** Despite unpleasant rooms, the staff was great. Personable, responsive. -- Cleanliness ** Clean, but dated and a tad gross. Obviously housekeeping does a good job with what they have, but this location desperately needs an update. -- Noise * Someone showed up late upstairs and let their horses run around on the floor, dropping several marble boulders in the process. Noise can be a one off, so I wouldn't place too much stock in this. We didn't complain to management that night, but did mention it on our way out in case they were staying a second night. -- Value ** Despite all that, this is a cheaper property at under $150 per night. -- Breakfast * Standard Hampton Inn fare. The waffle was okay, the eggs were overdone, but the selections were pretty standard. -- Overall ** If you don't care about dated rooms with impossible to clean details and are on a budget, but also like a safe place with breakfast included, this might be a good option. read more

This place is crazy. We are part of the Hilton family and stay at a lot of Hampton Inns so we are familiar with the service we can expect at a Hampton Inn: comfy beds, great breakfast, etc. Hampton Inn Rifle has got to be the WORST HI we have ever stayed at. Where shall I start: *SOMEONE'S DIRTY UNDERWEAR: We checked in and she gave us a room on the 4th floor. As soon as we walked in, I noticed the sheets were a bit wrinkled. I asked my kids if they sat on the beds and they said no. As I was unloaded out suitcases off the luggage cart, that's when I saw it: IS THAT SOMEONE'S UNDERWEAR RIGHT BESIDE THE TV STAND? Yes it is.. GROSS! *STINKY SHEETS: Once I saw the underwear I knew the place hadn't been cleaned. I picked up a pillow and took a whiff: EWW.. head sweat, like someone took a hike and went to sleep. That means whoever cleaned this room just remade the bed. Double gross. We went downstairs and I asked for a different floor altogether as whoever cleaned the fourth floor has failed. We were moved to the third floor and I did a sniff test and it seemed decent. The only issue we had was with the tub's water spout: when we pulled the leaver up for the shower, half the water was still spewing out the main faucet... so wasteful! But then we moved on to breakfast: *EGGS, SAUSAGE, POTATOES: So far so good. This platter of food was decent. *WAFFLES: That hot basic breakfast item what is expected was completely gone. No waffles for you! *ORANGE JUICE: None. No OJ. Just apple and the Tropical Mango 'juice' tasted like colored water. Horrible experience, dirty rooms, breakfast was a fail. This Hampton Inn should not be considered as part of the Hilton family AT ALL. We will NOT be coming back to this Hampton Inn nor do we recommend staying here. Someone from Hilton needs to come to this location and do an expectation check as this location completely fails all requirements of what the Hilton hotels represent. read more

Card was # was stolen by the front desk and when I messaged hilton about rhis I got another charge on account and a staff member Frankie decided to start texting me about the issue. Also Rosa who is the manager in the morning was extremely dismissive, rude, and unhelpful. Thats just to talk about the staff.... the room was dirty, the beds also made so much noise with any little movement it was impossible to sleep. I would never recommend this place and its sad because I love hilton and have never had an issue. read more

Fine stay for a night at the Rifle Hampton en route across I-70. We arrived around 9pm to several waiting for check-in and the key system down. About 30 min later we were finally in the room. The rooms and hotel seem tired, good enough but not great. The bed was hard, shower stained, carpet dark, just dated in general. Breakfast was typical and sufficient. read more

One star is way to much! I have never been treated so poorly. Booked my reservation in June for a stay in mid August. In July I changed the date to arrive a day earlier. Had my original booking, the cancellation and the new reservation date. After a very long day I arrived to check in with my two children. The young lady at the front desk told me that she only had me arriving the following day. I attempted to show her my documents, when she said "look we can go back and forth about this, but I cannot book you in until tomorrow". WHAT? that's your answer, that's your customer service? She refused to give me her name, the managers name or the corporate office numbers and told me that I was rude. She walked away into the back office What is even better is I have called since learned the night auditor who took my reservation no longer works there and the manger has yet to call me back! I've worked in the hospitality industry, as a front desk representative and I know that you work with your customers. read more

It's always nice to have nice, tidy and clean place to lay your head after a long day. Hampton always delivers. This was a quick trip and we literally only slept here. As you know, there are other amenities that we may have enjoyed, if time allowed. We checked in pretty late (almost 2 o'clock in the morning) and was greeted by the front desk lady with a smile. The room and bathroom were clean and sort-of comfortable. The pillows and comforters were nice, but I hope they change the mattresses soon. As we went to bed late, naturally we woke up pretty late (9:30 am). But to our surprise the breakfast items were still full and fresh. They even have breakfast to-go brown bags which I thought was a brilliant idea! I have been a diamond level Hilton Honors member for many years. As such we try to stay at Hilton properties on our trips. The Hampton Inn in Rifle has to be in my opinion, one of the best I've stayed at, simply because of the warm welcome we received from desk clerk! Charming, helpful (wish I could remember his name) and most kind. Recommended a few dinner places and places to visit around town. Room itself was the usual Hampton Inn style room and overall very nice. If you find yourself passing through Rifle and need a place to stay, I highly recommend the Hampton Inn! read more

We were on vacation for the weekend and we really enjoyed staying here. The location is close to Glenwood Springs and it's also really close to the freeway which is convenient. We were able to check in on the Hilton app the day before and pick our room, it was nice having the digital key on our phone. The rooms were very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Very nice hotel. Most Hampton Inn & Suites are normally very nice. This one seems more welcoming and comfortable than others. Beds & bedding are comfortable. Room is clean & updated. Only 2 complaints: Of course the shower is a 5 out of 10... And, when the washing machines are on the spin circle you know it. The whole room shakes a lot! I mean really bad! LOL It feels like a helicopter is landing or something. Lacey, Anthony and all of the staff are friendly, helpful and smile. My boyfriend and I came from California & my bestfriend came from Windsor, CO. We're here for my daughters wedding. It was delightful! We had both ceremony & reception at Miner's Claim in Silt, CO. Beds are super uncomfortable( very firm) and the fire alarms in the rooms go off every time someone takes a shower. There is no hot tub and the pool is chilly. The breakfast person had a hard time keeping items and supplies stocked during breakfast. Staff was always nice but that didn't help us get a good nights sleep in the 4 nights we stayed. read more

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at the Hampton Inn in Rifle, CO. I would like to compliment the desk clerk Lacey for a great check in experience. We had a king suite on the 4th floor. Very comfortable room with lots of space. The kitchen area had a sink, little coffee maker, mini fridge and a microwave. Breakfast was served starting at 6:00 am. There were both hot and cold options. The hotel is very close to Arby's, Culver's and Sonic. There is a nice rib restaurant close by. Also, the town of Rifle has other food options. Walmart is also down the road. Will definitely stay here again. read more

Made reservations weeks ahead of my stay received confirmation and still when I arrived I was told a mistake had been made that it would be corrected by the next night so I made due the next morning after being awaken very early by a fire alarm I was told that a second mistake was made and that they could not accommodate me so I had to leave hotel and find accommodations else where and top top it all off they are trying to charge me for the full stay as if they did accommodate me be very careful here read more

So everything is relative. This newer Hampton is located in Rifle, and like most of the buildings in Rifle, looks like a block sitting on a parking lot. But, that said, the rooms are modern, very quiet, and have the typical amenities. The dings: - HDTV was nice....standard 4:3 programming (stretched), not so much. - the free breakfast? I mean, I know you get what you pay for, but man...even by Hampton standards...this sucked big time. SOS one day, canned scrambled eggs the next, and what was likely the worst cheese omelet I've ever seen the next. Quit trying after that. But, you DO get Hilton points, and the rooms are good, so it's worth about a 3 by CO standards. read more

Standard Hampton Inn for the most part. However, when the commercial washer the housekeeping staff uses goes into spin cycle it tends to shake the entire bldg. I'm not a structural engineer, but that can't be a good thing. Also one of the elevators doesn't go to the 2nd floor. read more

I just came back from a short trip to Colorado for my friend's 40th. My 3 friends and I decided to stay at the Hampton since we were all familiar with the Hampton name. We really enjoyed our stay here! Check in wasn't a hassle, the workers were friendly, the place is clean, there was an indoor pool and fitness center and they served your standard breakfast every morning from 6am to 10am. The room itself was a standard sized hotel room, the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels and bathroom neccesities and let me say the beds are OMG so-so very comfortable!! My only complaint is the thin walls. I can hear people packing up their families and slamming their hotel room doors at all hours of the morning and night. I'm not blaming the hotel. People are rude. Can't do anything about that, right? The hotel also had coin-op washers and dryers on the 2nd floor and detergent/dryer sheets for purchase. The front desk also had things like shavers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. I would totally stay here again! read more

The room was great and all. But they said if we had Food from a restaurant that we wanted to save, we could keep it in their employee refrigerator. We had a box of left over pizza that we put in there for one night with a sticky note that had our room number and what not. The next day we went to eat our left overs, when we saw that they had eaten a few slices of our pizza. I am fourteen. And I love my pizza. And it was completely immature and out of line of them to do that. Aside from that at the complimentary breakfast we always had to wait for them to restock the food. Lots of waiting. This was the single greatest hampton stay ever. Staff was super friendly, the hotel was immaculate, and the mattresses were so comfortable! We were originally going to drive all the way to Green River Utah, but given our already long schedule and stops the days prior we decided to make it an early stop. I checked Expedia and my Hilton app and they both had the same price, so I decided to wait until I got to the hotel to book. The hotel was out of regular king suites but had a handicapped accessible room. We opted for that, instead of two queens, and ordered a rollaway. We are a family of 6 and find this is best configuration for the ages we have. We used the pool as well and it was not very heated, but provided the kids with an outlet to wear themselves out. The morning breakfast was good, the waffles were excellent and they had a homemade cayenne sauce for the eggs, turkey sausage, and hashbrowns that was pretty good at hiding their original flavor. read more

This is the second time we stayed here. Since the 1st time was a great experience, we stayed here again. The room was clean and the room is a good size room. Beds were really comfortable We did have an incident where the couple next door was fighting at 3 am in the morning. They kept fighting for over an hour and finally they got kicked out. This is a great overnight stop that we use frequently when driving from Denver to Las Vegas. We typically get a late afternoon start, from Denver, spend the night and then run the last 8 hours in the morning. Accepts pets, very clean and comfortable and the breakfast in the morning rivals what you would make at home or get at Denny's or IHOP. We used Hilton Honors points to cut the price to $40 which is an unbeatable deal! read more

I stay in Hilton brand wherever I go and while Embassy is one of my favorites I second Hampton Inns. The rooms are quiet and do not have thin walls. The beds are comfy except the pillows are heavy and flat. You need 3 to be comfy lol. The staff at front desk was amazingly nice and accommodating for anything. It was very refreshing. The only 2 things that lowered my score was that there is no HVAC system as each room has individual wall units and we had it up to 79 all 4 days and it really never got above 71. It was freezing outside so the temps greatly fluctuate in the rooms but it was okay. The 2nd is SOME of the food. The hot food was not the best and often was cold once we got it. They do have a nice spread of yogurts and brands cereals and oatmeal. The eggs are omelets that must have come commercially frozen and just arent that good. Scrambled eggs would be nice. The waffle maker is a nice touch but it just comes out so dry and tough. Lots of juice and cold milk so that was a plus! Will be back! read more

This Hampton Inn is brand new. They have free breakfast in the morning and pre-packed breakfast bags to-go if you don't have time to sit down and eat. The suite is huge, bigger than my studio apartment in SF. It has a couch, a large desk, a pretty big LCD TV, microwave, fridge etc. The gym here is also very good. It has a bike, elyptical, 3 tread mills, medicine balls, free-weight dumbells up to 50lbs, 2 benches, 2 floor pads and an exercise ball. I can almost do my entire routine here. And when it first opened, they gave me a suite for $89. awesome. read more

This is a very comfortable hotel. The staff is friendly and relatable. The fitness center is an awesome place to hangout, but the pool is tiny and there is no hot tub. The complimentary breakfast is available early in the morning and is good. Not too far from Glenwood Springs. Location is next to a sonic. read more
