The pool area needs to be cleaned. The showers got stopped up with hair and they had to come fix it and I am SURE they don't clean that after every guest. The staff are very sweet. For me to give a one star review really means run. KEEP ON going! The Hyatt place Nextdoor looked nice, we try to be loyal to Hilton but this was perhaps the worst hotel experience we have ever had. So disappointing. This property is pretty large. They had one young girl running the whole property. They have no other employee on sight. Engineering if you AC goes out or cable doesn't work...she told us, "it's just me". Housekeeping? "It's just me here" Manager? "They have another job so I text when I need them". How can you leave a property of this size in the hands of one person who honestly had no idea what she was doing. Laundry washers have mold. Local kids were using the pool, then hanging out in the parking lot getting high and drinking...elevators are on their last legs, and we only snapped one pic as we were sorting out the mess we were in but mold and water damage everywhere. read more

Sad to have to post this because of previous good experiences, but this stay was hands down the worst hotel experience in the last several years for our family. I've never posted a review like this on Yelp, but I'm trying to save other families some regret. 1) The entire downstairs is under construction to the point that there is no lobby. For breakfast, I was handed a bag with a bagel, a banana, an orange juice, and apple, and a water - for my entire family. Upon requesting another bag, an employee who spoke no English was wagging his finger in my face saying ONE over and over, loudly. I told him I had an entire family in the room, and I needed another and another employee said "You can go next door to the Hilton if you need anything else" and walked off. Wow, what great service and accommodations! :/ 2) We had a water leak - a bad one - from the A/C unit and the carpet underneath it was drenched (like soaked), and who knows for how long. We requested another room - which they didn't have - and was told that they knew about it (why would you still book those rooms??), and their A/C installation "technician" didn't seal most of the units correctly so "many of them were leaking". ....but the hotel was full so they couldn't move us to another room. So I guess they booked all those rooms?? MOLD GROWS under wet carpet. I mean, this is where we're at after one night? Also, they had huge industrial carpet drying fans in the hallways in the morning. Fun! :/ 3) Staff's attitude and helpfulness was beneath anything that could be considered service. Check my other Yelp reviews. I've never posted anything like this before. It was that bad. 4) Water never got hot in shower the first night. I will concede that it did work fine the next morning, but still. It was hit-or-miss within a 24hr time period. 5) No fire alarms in room. They were taken out and not replaced. Yet they still booked the room like that. 6) Look at the Hotel hot tub in attached pics. Wow. So needless to say, I'm done. This was always my go-to place to stay on our way to Florida, but after the way we were treated and spoken to, plus the fact that the hotel shouldn't even be open and they're booking rooms like this with literally soaked carpet that's been there who-knows-how-long without telling the customer ahead of time...I'm out. Only thing I can suggest is coming back after construction is done (whenever that will be), and hope management trains employees in customer service (or, instead, treats them well enough for them to at least halfway enjoy their jobs), and then hope it's decent. Absolutely abysmal experience. Will never be back. Hotel shouldn't be open like this, and needs serious customer service training for employees. read more

As a parent of two long term employees of the Hilton family , as well as a longtime guest of these hotels, I must say a few things. Room, clean, quiet , private. Digital key love them, although I could not share with my guest. Breakfast was a farce, no syrup on a waffle station, fake eggs swimming in nasty liquid, "butter " to use the term loosely, made of vegetable oil. It's just a shame and not the quality of other Hilton experiences. The elevator is scary with its clangs and loud noises. read more

I'm not sure why this is so highly rated. I'm having trouble believing there aren't any nicer or newer hotels in the area. I was here for work. The hotel inside is dated and my room looked a little depressing and sad with fluorescent lighting, chipped paint and damage on walls. Not confident in housekeeping since there was dust all over the lighting fixtures, they didn't replenish a laundry bag that usually hangs in the closet and for some odd reason they put the coffeemaker and all the k-cups in the bathroom! Why would one do this if they could be placed on a table far, far away from a toilet?? The breakfast thankfully was fine. Check-in was ok. I will look elsewhere for my next trip to this area. read more

A scam of a place. Will let you pay for a falsely advertised room. Also the wifi was not working they said the routers were down. Have attempted to contact them for reimbursement with no response. My booking agency has also tried to contact them with no response. Tried to go downstairs for free breakfast and the smell of the food made me want to vomit. There was also no bathroom door. Our stay here was decent. I do like this particular location because of their: 1. location (right in front of the beach), 2. free breakfast & 3. friendly staff. Some things I didn't like: 1. our shower didn't have a shower curtain - at first, I thought it was just one of those types of showers that's made to be without a curtain. Wrong, housekeeping just "forgot" to put one back on. 2. our key card was pointless at entrance/exit doors. The exit door to the back parking lot has a scanner for your card, but it was broken, so it was pretty pointless. Anyone could've come in. Not safe. Overall, decent stay. They have a pretty big parking lot in the back, and some parts share with the Hyatt next door. They have a small pool in the front, overlooking the beach. The pool, in my opinion, is awkwardly situated. The breakfast area looks directly at the pool and the Hyatt's pool is right next to it. I thought Hampton had 2 pools, until I was told it was the other hotel's. Customer service was friendly (as per usual with Hilton) and for Mother's Day, it was sweet they gave roses to the mothers. read more

This hotel is old, dated, dark and in need of a serious update. The walls are paper thin and you can here neighbors talking normally and partying next door. We checked in at 830pm, walked into the room and immediately realized this hotel was not up to Hilton standards. It was severely outdated and very depressing. We stay a lot at with Hilton and we're able to achieve diamond status with them. We are very familiar with the brand. This hotel is not up to their standards. We requested a checked out and refund 30 mins after we got there. The location is great and with a major renovation, the property could become a 4/5 star. We don't recommend this property to any loyal Hilton member. We moved to the Hampton inn 5 miles away off the I-10 and what a difference. read more

This has been the worst experience I have ever had at a Hilton property. The front desk agent, Kim, was not present for the first 30 minutes I was on the property. The room with WiFi that I paid for had no WiFi. When I explained to Kim that this is not what I paid for, she became confrontational. I told her that I had never had an experience like this at a Hilton property before and that I stayed at Hiltons frequently. When I mentioned that I am a Diamond Member, she called me an "entitled a**". Belligerent staff. False advertising. I would never stay at this property again. DO NOT STAY here unless you like staying in remodeling dust and dirt. There are no doors on the guest rooms bathrooms, just a curtain which doesn't offer much privacy. They have very little staff because of the remodeling. They have over booked their rooms so get there early. They don't like Hilton honor members either. read more

The hotel itself is ok. Our room wasn't the cleanest but I was going to wipe down and sanitize everything anyway. They were undergoing a reno which was no biggie to me. The view and salt water pool was great. We stayed 3 nights. I gave 2 stars because of the towel and breakfast situation. I know it's Covid so staff may have been limited. I chose this hotel because the one we stayed at in Dallas, Texas was great! Our towels were changed, trash was taken out, breakfast was yummy. Breakfast was from 6-10 and I went down for 8am. It was nothing but scraps. The waffle batter was also out. I didn't bother going the other mornings. Our towels and trash was never changed but I just emptied the trash myself. The other problem we had was we only had 3 face towels. It was 4 of us. My husband went down to the desk(which the ladies were really nice) but they were out of face towels. We went swimming and had to use our bathroom drying towels to dry off since the pool towels weren't replenished. We had to ask the gentleman at the front desk for 4 more drying towels since we used ours at the pool. We got here around 3 pm today. The hotel is fairly new, along with all the other buildings in the area. You can definitely tell that pretty much everything was built post-Katrina. This hotel is very nice, and we got upgraded at check in. We were given room 601, which is on the top floor, with an excellent view of the Gulf of Mexico. We went in the pool in the afternoon. It was a lot cleaner than trying to go into the Gulf. :) Generally, you can't go wrong with Hampton Inn. read more

I called the Hilton Garden on Aug 2nd 2022 to get a hotel room and they told me they were full but the Hampton right down the street had the same room I was trying to book and they were owned by the same company so she could go ahead and book my reservation for me. Beach view suite with a hot tub by the bed, I didn't see anything on the Hampton website about the having a hot tub but I did see reviews of people talking about the hot tub by the bed. I arrived to my room at 7:30pm to check in and nobody was here, I was in a hurry as I was down here for business so I had to leave without checking in, after handling my business I arrived back to the room at 9:30pm and again nobody was around to check me in, I waited for over 30 mins to be check in, when I finally walk into the room there was no hot tub, there was footprints on the floor like nobody had mopped the floor, the room floor was slightly dirty, the bathroom wall had some kind of stain right by the shower entrance, the wall had handprints on it, the mirror had not been cleaned and so much for a "beach view" I couldn't even see the beach. I immediately called down and asked to get a refund and she told me there was no manager on duty at night but she would make a note for the manager when they came. I thought hard about just finding another room but it was after 10pm at night so I just stayed, I wake up and go down to check out and the manager was completely unprofessional didn't even look like she was at work she didn't even have a uniform on.... And she argues with me instead of trying to help me. Tells me that she basically didn't care that the Hilton told me there was a hot tub because I didn't talk to them or they would have told me they didn't have a hot tub in the room (like that was the only issue) so we go back and forth and she ended up doing absolutely NOTHING. No discount no I'm sorry, no nothing. She and I quote "we didn't tell you there was a hot tub and if my room was dirty and I was unhappy with my room I wouldn't have stayed in it I would have went somewhere else" so I told her ok well I guess I'll just leave a review of how terrible my stay was and she said "thank you have a nice day" read more

I had a three night stay here this past weekend and I couldn't find a single thing to complain about until checkout when I noticed they charged me again after I originally paid in full while booking. The front desk said they would correct the issue and email me a receipt, all good. Nope, instead of removing the double charge I received ANOTHER charge, and this stay was not cheap originally. They are in the middle of a major renovation, so the lobby isn't anything fancy to look at when you first walk in... neither are the hallways. However, for the location and price, this place is awesome. We got a king bed corner suite with a whirlpool, fridge, microwave, office desk, huge TV with HBO, and more for under $200 with taxes. It's located on Beach Blvd, so it is convenient to everything. Breakfast? Included. Not only do you get the usual continental breakfast staples like cereal, breads, yogurt, fruit, etc. but they have some hot items (sausage and french toast the morning we were there) and a waffle iron to make your own waffles. If you don't need 24/7 access to a casino in the same building as your hotel, definitely consider this place as an alternative to the high prices at the local casino hotels. read more

Stayed here for a week while on a work trip. Really wanted to give this place more stars but the customer service and cleanliness was lacking. When I first checked in I was not asked if I was a Hilton honors member, which I am, so my phone app never sinned up until had to go back down to the front desk and give them my Hilton number, they should of looked it up from my name and address to begin with. The room was nice but the bath tub had mold in it. One day I dropped some food on the bed, thinking the maid would just change it the next day I simply moved to the other bed in the room. The maid in fact did not change the sheets, she just made the bed back up, stain and all. There an employee at the breakfast bar who was very snippy when I didn't say good morning back to her. This really got me upset, I'm not someone who responds to everyone, especially in the mornings (call me rude I don't care) and when I didn't reply to her she's said "are you ignoring me? Over the years, Hampton Inns have become one of the "hit and miss" brands within the portfolio, so you have to be careful when you choose one; compared to say Garden Inns, which tend to be newer, thus less likely to be run down. This one was felt newer and/or renovated. Everything was nice, clean and in good working order, from the lobby to the room. The price was reasonable, at around $150 for a corner suite with whirlpool and beach front view. My only complaint was the overzealous cleaning staff, who knocked on my door (marked do not disturb) three times on check out day. read more

My family and I just visited Biloxi and stayed at this Hampton Inn for three nights. I have nothing but praise and gratitude for the entire hotel staff and the accommodations. Check in was quick and easy. We used the Hilton Honors app to check in and chose our room prior to our arrival. Our room was ready when we arrived shortly after 4pm. The FREE breakfast was okay. It's nothing to write home about but it's served until 10am. Nobody wants to wake up early while on vacation just to eat breakfast. They were out of a few breakfast items when we stumbled down around 9am the last morning. They replaced the missing food when we brought it to their attention. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They even offered us some hydrocortisone cream for our son's sunburned nose! I was most impressed by housekeeping though. That crew deserves a raise. Our room was fresh and clean when we got back from our fun in the sun each day. I don't know where they put all that sand we brought back from the beach. read more

The staff was accommodating to our needs and there were several perks during our 3-night stay. Complementary coffee and tea were available in the lobby 24 hours, plus ice water. Typical Hampton Inn free breakfast. Nice selection each morning and a great way to save a little money on meals. Unexpectedly, fresh baked cookies are typically put out at the front desk around 5:00pm. A nice treat in the evening. The night manager, Winsome, was exceptionally pleasant and also bagged us up 3 cookies to go on our way out one evening. If you're looking for a nice place to stay away from the casino chaos, this hotel is likely your best bet. If you're looking for a beach view, rooms x00-x03 will give you a spectacular sight overlooking the pool and the gulf. read more

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times and have always enjoyed our stay. I booked reservations for a stay on 1/21/2020. I checked in online the night before and was assigned a room. When I arrived to the hotel I was told there was someone in the room I had been assigned. I asked if the room I was getting was the same as the one which was assigned to me and was told yes. Upon getting to the room, I found that the room was not the same as the photo of the room I saw on the Hilton Honors site. I was told by the desk clerk named Ed that I should have made my reservations with the hotel directly because Hilton Honors does not know what is available at his property. I described the room I was expecting and he told that I didn't know what I was talking about. He started to get belligerent with me and told me if I was not satisfied I could go somewhere else. At that point, I became annoyed and I threw my key card on the counter which in turned it hit his computer and then the floor. He began to curse me out and threatened me with violence. He said he would jump over the counter and kick my ass. This was all witnessed by another employee. I told him I would report him to Hilton Honors and he said go ahead and that I could call Paris Hilton for all he cared. He told me to check out and he wanted me off the property and to never come back. I called Hilton Honors while in front of him and he would not give his last name so I could give it to HH. The HH rep could hear him talking to me and she told me she was sorry for the way I was being treated and filled out a complaint for me. She told me I should call the police which I did not do. This is the first time I have ever felt unsafe at a Hilton property. read more

The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the breakfast! Instead of going on and on, I'll list you the "highlights" from our stay. Keep in mind that we are seasoned travelers and have stayed all across the country! - STAFF SUCKS!!!! The front desk clerk who checked us in mumbled to the point that we had to politely tell him we couldn't understand him. DO NOT EXPECT A WARM GREETING! He sat around the corner from the desk on his phone. People had to yell, "hello" , for him to come out! We stood there stupidly waiting for him to be done. Finally we asked if we were done and he stated, "yeah". - We paid for a king room with a garden tub and got two double beds! They will give your room away in a minute. - Clerk LIED and stated he was going to refund difference! He did not! - children ran up and down the halls from 10:30 to beyond midnight screaming police and knocking on doors. When we went to call we realized our phone didn't work! Tried to call hotel main line and NO ONE ANSWERED! Called Hilton and there would be a 30 minute wait! Finally gave up! - Pool never closed for the night! Drunks in pool at 6:30 the next morning! When did they clean it? Hmmm... - NOT ONE STAFF MEMBER SPEAKS TO YOU! They are all unfriendly! - YOU WILL LOVE THIS ONE....when he didn't give us the right room, we went back downstairs, only to be given the key to someone else's room! They were in there as we unlocked the door!!!! Do you think he apologized? Heck no! DO NOT STAY HERE! I HONESTLY CANT BELIEVE ANYONE WOULD GIVE THIS HOTEL A GREAT RATING! Just as someone said in an earlier post, "if you stay here after reading this, I don't feel sorry for you!" There are so many other great hotels on this same strip! CHOOSE THEM! This is our first time at this hotel and I must admit, I'm not sure why there are negative remarks. From the location, to the staff, this has been an amazing stay here. There was an issue with our booking.com reservation and the Manager fixed it immediately with no issues. She placed us in a different room, but still with a Beach view that was amazing. The night crew came on after we were leaving the Beach and it was like getting Royal treatment. I was so impressed that I chose to become a Hilton Honors member. We are a military family so we have stayed in hotels across the US and this is by far one of our best stays. This will definitely be our getaway spot from now on. We were able to get a great spot on the Beach so that we can practice social distancing. Maybe the bad reviews were before renovations because right now, it get's no better. The breakfast was good and had things like waffles, eggs, yogurt and oatmeal. Comfortable beds. Our AC unit was very loud, there were spots of black mold on the ceiling and the blinds were broken. There was a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. I was not aware that this was a smoking hotel when i booked. The entrance smelled of smoke but we otherwise did not smell it through out the hotel. It is over looking the beach, however, the water is disgusting. Friendly staff. Only stayed for two nights. Made my reservations, but in my haste and the fact i had looked for couple hours trying to figure out where to stay along the coast to fit in with my travel plans , i allowed the date to default to the next day. I received a letter today saying i missed my reservation and that my Amex was charged. I went online and behold-no availability. I then called the Gen Mgr that sent the letter. Told her that i was OK with them charging me, but could she find me a room. Not only did she find me a room and make me a reservation, she reversed the charges to my Amex. I didn't know that kind of good business savvy existed any more. I will now always stay at the Hampton, when i go to Biloxi. read more

The place itself was pretty good, very close to really good restaurants , etc. But, our problem is that my husband accidentally left his sonic care toothbrush in the bathroom. He didn't realize it until we got home (the next day) and unpacked. He immediately called the hotel and they said they would check with housekeeping. The next day he called again and was told that housekeeping said that they had thrown it away. This a $189 toothbrush! They threw it away?? Why wouldn't they take an electronic toothbrush to the office, in case someone called about it? Grant it, it was my husbands fault that he left it, but still... Won't be staying at this place again.
