A nice personalized welcome! ... assuming I used my real name.

I was here long enough to crawl in bed, sleep 4 hours, shower, and leave. But I saw enough to say it's clean, didn't smell bad in the hallway, shower was pretty good, very comfortable bed, new-ish, and the staff was super helpful. Oh and affordable. I think McDonalds is walking distance away, which is nice but I didn't take advantage of it. Should have, because the Southwest concourse in the airport has NO FOOD at 5 AM other than Char-bucks, which I will never step foot in...unless to get Mrs. Yelper something. I hate it but I don't push that on others...that's called being tolerant.

Had zero plans to stay here, but got stuck in a TERRIBLE traffic jam on my way to the airport and missed my evening flight. Got a SUPER early flight out the following morning, and it just didn't make sense to return home to Springfield, so this super close location was perfect for my needs. Comfortable, clean, quiet (except for the overhead plane noise, hmmmm!!) and I got the room at a reasonable last minute rate. Would have appreciated the breakfast, but I left at 5am, before it started. I DID appreciate the quick shuttle to the airport the next morning. The only negative was that the toll-free number I called (from the airport) assured me that parking in the hotel parking lot would be included in my rate while I was there, which it was not. It was, however, only $7.00 a night, so definitely not a deal breaker. It also took a WHILE to get the shuttle at the airport back to the hotel to pick up my car once my trip was over, but it was pretty late in the evening, and I imagine they don't have a ton of staff for that... The shuttle, btw, is shared with the next door Hilton Garden Hotel and one other, I believe, so get there early, leaving and returning, to get a good seat!! I'm sure this hotel has plenty of amenities available, none of which I used, but it's a fine option if you have an early flight out, or are just planning to zoom in and out of Columbus...

DISGUSTING. I'm in tears over the experience I've been having with Hilton. I stayed at the Columbus Ohio Airport Hampton on Sunday evening. When I left Monday, bed bug bites began to appear all over my body. Over the last two days these bites have turned into painful itchy blisters. Once I've tried reaching out to Hilton I've been dismissed, I've even been told "that didn't happen, what do you want me to do about it?" I can't believe that 1. They don't care and 2. Are okay to be so dismissive about a customer in pain.

It was pretty hard giving this place a review. Lets start with the pro's. Staff seems great so far. The place is nice. Theres a business center, fitness center as well. There's an outdoor pool area but obviously its closed. Way too cold for that. The room itself is great. But the bed is not so comfy. The room does have a mini fridge but than it has its down side because no microwave is included. I didnt see a microwave downstairs either. Which was upsetting because I intentionally ordered extra dinner my first night here thinking I can warm it up the next day, yeah not happening. I had to throw out the extra away. For some reason, my first night here. When I took a shower, the water filled up about half way in the tub and didn't clear until the following morning. Not only that but for some reason the water smells as well. I had to purchase some scented plug ins along with some Lysol spray to be able to deal with it. The AC as well doesn't stay cold all night which wakes me up in the middle of the night to mess with it until it turns back on. I do love that there is a couch in the room as well so I can sit on the couch while I watch TV or sit at the work desk while I'm on my laptop.

Photo is from the parking lot Hampton Inn at the Airport. Super convenient if your travels take you to the airport.

Overall the hotel met my needs. I would recommend this as a one night stay hotel it's perfect for travelers who are flying in and out. When online it reads Hampton Inn by the Airport it seems literally at the airport. I was directed to the one restaurant in the area other than McDonalds and it's the restaurant in the Hilton Garden Inn next door. A car or a shuttle is needed to find anything else. My trip required a 3 nights stay on the third day the room had received limited service. Bed was not made with care, coffee was not refreshed and some essentials were not replenished. Overall clean Had wifi but slow Small workout room with towels available. Breakfast included

Clean, modern rooms with this hotel being in a prime location cause this lodging to be one of my favorite in Columbus, Ohio. Fresh fruit and yogurt offered for breakfast make this a smart early morning dining choice. I will stay here again in two weeks which how well I like this hotel. Friendly staff too! study

The pillows were acceptable and my room actually had a desk which seems to be something I've been having trouble with lately. I'd stay here again if I was coming to the Convention Center. I was told that my Honors Member rate would be booked for the full stay. At check in, the reservation I made was not even for the correct number of nights. I booked for Wednesday thru Sunday but they only had my block of rooms for Wednesday and Thursday. We were told to come down and check out and check back in the following day. When we came down in the morning to take care of this, that front desk person said we should not have had to check in and check out and move rooms even though this is what we were told upon arrival. We then find out that our rate has gone from $187 to approximately $500 a night for the remaining stay. Of course we are shocked. We went to speak to the manager and he was not willing to meet us in the middle to find a solution. He gave us a hard no and said you won't find another hotel in this area for the remaining days. We found another hotel, three rooms left and did not stay and found other accommodations. I think there were enough issues with our reservations and being told a different story depending upon who we spoke with that the hotel. It is unfortunate that they seemed to not care to loose guests and two rooms. I am truly floored by the switch and bait and also that management/staff really seemed to not be bothered. We might only be 6 guests total but they just lost customers who that will never book with this hotel chain again.

This trip brought us to the LeVeque. I opened the door to my room and literally stopped in my tracks. My first thought: Can the interior designer come do my house next? The decor is gorgeous. One of my favorite discoveries was that the gold framing around the mirrors and bed? Plastic. The crisscross "marble" lamp bases? Also plastic. Honestly, brilliant. They look exactly like the kind of ridiculously heavy gold frames and marble lamps that would double as murder weapons in a Dateline episode. The bathroom is huge, the towels are fluffy, and there's a separate privacy door for the toilet--an underrated luxury when traveling. My only room complaint: the shampoo has that generic "guy cologne" scent that never quite smells as good as its creators think it does. The hotel's artwork is classy, and the bar area is comfortable with plenty of couches for lounging. The drinks, however, are pricey. At those prices, the martinis should arrive with special effects--a bubble on top that explodes into smoke, minimum. A minor annoyance: the lobby ran out of Diet Coke for purchase. Unfortunately, Marriott doesn't seem to give employees a small emergency soda fund to run out and buy a case. As for parking, valet would have been nice, but instead you park in the garage around the corner. The attached walkway makes it easy enough, though. Overall: beautiful hotel, stunning rooms, great atmosphere.

The hotel was asked if there was a conference or meeting room we could use for the day! The answer was Yes! One room was in the second floor and the other one was a meeting area in the lobby next to the library. It was between the Starbucks and the front desk. It was out in the open but we weren't discussing anything confidential. Very few people came by us as most people waited closer to the front desk if they were waiting for someone. This led to a quiet atmosphere where we could hear each other without difficulty. We used a delivery service for lunch because The Keep's kitchen was going to close in 20 minutes. They are open for breakfast and close, close for several hours and reopen for happy hour/dinner service. The valet parking for the day was about $26 before tip.

I felt $39 for valet parking was very high, especially since the first night my car was not even parked in their lot. I actually felt that they should have refunded part of the valet fee since my car was parked a block and a half away in an unattended lot. I actually felt that for $39 per night that the cars should have been in a garage. The hotel was nice, though we were looking for something to eat late at night after 10:00 p.m. and didn't realize that the sports bar stop serving food after 10:00 p.m. and the restaurant upstairs was packed and very loud. We ended up ordering out doordash which was easier and quicker especially since it was pouring down rain outside. The desk wasn't always staffed while we were there, that included when we called on the phone at 7:00 p.m. to speak with someone and the phone just rang and rang and rang, it also included daytime when we were looking to speak with someone at the front desk and there was no one there. A desk in a downtown hotel should be staffed 24 hours a day. When we booked our room I didn't realize my mother would need a handicapped room. When we finally did get a hold of someone a little bit after 7:00 on that first evening we were able to move to a room that was supposedly handicapped but wasn't quite as I expected it would be. Yes there were rails everywhere in the bathroom but the toilet was low and what really blew my mind was there was a bathtub and anyone who's handicapped like let's say in a wheelchair is not going to be able to get into the bathtub or out very easily. There was a seat underneath the sink that could be set up in the tub but how would somebody if they were handicapped get into and out of it. The first room we had had a nice shower that you could practically walk in without having to climb over the edge of a bathtub. I would have felt that would have been much better of an option for someone handicapped. Drawer space in both rooms was non-existent. In the handicap room there was one drawer underneath the fridge. In the other room there were two drawers. We were there for the weekend, we operated out of the suitcase. They were all so only four hangers. It seemed to me a bit ridiculous that there wasn't enough storage space for someone who might want to unpack if they were there for a week or longer than a weekend. In fact, I've never been in a Marriott hotel that didn't have more storage than this one. It was a bit odd to me. The staff was friendly, helpful, the little store downstairs was nice to pick up some drinks or some snacks, I'm unsure where we would have heated up the frozen dinner or pizza that were in the freezer in that little store since we didn't have a microwave in our hotel room. It was nice that the hotel was close to comfest that was happening while we were visiting the area and that North market was just a block up. It was nice that you could walk to things and weren't always reliant on your car. Again I really wanted to like this hotel thoroughly, but there were just things that didn't make sense and were problematic to me. But since we were there for an event, we didn't have a choice of the hotel for that event.
