We went there last weekend. We had the best time. This place is beautiful and peaceful. The pool is huge and the hot tub was fantastic. The restaurant/ bar Arrow had great food. We ate there for breakfast and dinner. The food was delicious however at times the service was slow. The restaurant gets busy in the evening. We were told they were short staffed.

This was my second time at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris. First, was an all day work event in 2017 and this time was an awards celebration. It is very nice hotel that I would possibly stay one day with a spectacular lobby and bar area. The food was great with Chicken Piccata and potatoes but the broccoli was suspect. The bread was very warm and delicious along with the salad with the balsamic dressing and the a great dessert too. Also, the food was great then too. The staff were accommodating with requests, like filling up water and taking plates away after eating. The people at the check in were wonderful in giving me the wifi password and helping me get it on my phone. I enjoyed being at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris and would be great to stay there.

Beautiful hotel! Great customer service- A very warm and inviting lobby greets you as you enter with a huge fireplace and comfortable seating area. There is a restaurant on the first floor. The rooms are spacious. I am in a king suite that has a overly large bathroom and a sitting room separate from the bedroom. There is an executive lounge on the first floor that has a free breakfast buffet dinner, snacks, and beverages. Located near many restaurants and a mall . It smells wonderful in the lobby! Very clean -definitely one of the best Hilton properties. There is also an indoor pool and a huge weight room on the first floor off of the elevators .

We stayed at this location for Memorial Day weekend. The hotel was completely booked. When you walk into the lobby it is gorgeous. Very well decorated and clean. They have a great gym, and a bar and restaurant on site. They also have a self serve store with snacks and lite bites that is very convenient. When we opened the door to our room it was so hot! We called down to the front desk and they sent someone up right away. The floor was soaking wet under the unit which didn't feel like a quick fix. After much resistance from the customer service team they finally moved us to their "emergency room" Overall we love staying Hilton because of the consistent experience and cleanliness.

Maybe it's a COVID supply/demand phenomenon, but my rate here was just $89/night (December 2020). For reference, every hotel in the Columbus area was dirt cheap as ***rightfully*** no one seems to be traveling this year. My travel was a business necessity and first and foremost I wanted a hotel that was quiet and relaxing. I'd definitely recommend the Hilton Polaris as it met all of these expectations.

Customer service went above and beyond. Thanks Hilton!

I booked a stay at the Hilton Polaris for Saturday, 9/14/2019 to celebrate my wife and I's anniversary. I booked a suite on the executive floor because the photos online looked impressive. Impressed I was! A gorgeous tub, nice standing shower with rainfall head, and perhaps what was most surprising, a separate bathroom off the living room with toilet and sink. I'm getting ahead of myself. Upon entering the hotel, I was taken aback by how gorgeous and huge the lobby area was. Your eyes will immediately go to the fireplace, and the hotel offered fresh lemon/orange infused water next to reception. The agents at the front desk were kind and accommodating, and even congratulated us on our anniversary after I made mention of it during my reservation. We were also given vouchers for two free appetizers/drinks at the bar and two vouchers for breakfast in the morning; this was due to being on the executive floor (which is closed on the weekend). Shortly after settling into our room, we received a knock on the door. The hotel was kind enough to send us a bottle of chilled champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, along with a very nice card...we were both blown away by this, so thank you Hilton! Breakfast was way better than typical hotel fare. Various juices (cranberry, orange, grapefruit, apple, not sure what else), hot oatmeal, scrambled eggs, hash browns, french toast, bacon/sausage, fresh fruit, cereals and pastries. A very minor detail...they had the cutest tiny little bottles of ketchup and tabasco (we're talking MRE size)...I hate to admit that I took an extra bottle of tabasco home because it was that precious. Minor con is gift shop selection; only a few varieties of soda and frozen items along with chips/candy and toiletry essentials like shampoo, toothpaste, aspirin, etc. I can't hold it against the hotel, but it would be nice to have a wider range of stuff. Would recommend, and will definitely stay again!

Hilton Polaris Hotel looks from the outside like any other Interstate hotel. This is a well-run, clean, modern and hip hotel with friendly and helpful staff Modern workstation area (pics uploaded). Usual comfy Hilton Beds. Wi-Fi works reliably Executive Lounge offers a happy hour. Mix of beer, wine and booze at reduced prices compared with the bar area. Complimentary simple breakfast is offered with fresh fruit. During the day, the lounge is open for complimentary coffee, snacks, water and soda. Tip: Check out the Polaris Grill for dinner, nearby at 1835 Polaris Pkwy, as recommended by the Exec Lounge Staff. I was told that my Honors Member rate would be booked for the full stay. At check in, the reservation I made was not even for the correct number of nights. I booked for Wednesday thru Sunday but they only had my block of rooms for Wednesday and Thursday. We were told to come down and check out and check back in the following day. When we came down in the morning to take care of this, that front desk person said we should not have had to check in and check out and move rooms even though this is what we were told upon arrival. We then find out that our rate has gone from $187 to approximately $500 a night for the remaining stay. Of course we are shocked. We went to speak to the manager and he was not willing to meet us in the middle to find a solution. He gave us a hard no and said you won't find another hotel in this area for the remaining days. We found another hotel, three rooms left and did not stay and found other accommodations. I think there were enough issues with our reservations and being told a different story depending upon who we spoke with that the hotel. It is unfortunate that they seemed to not care to loose guests and two rooms. I am truly floored by the switch and bait and also that management/staff really seemed to not be bothered. We might only be 6 guests total but they just lost customers who that will never book with this hotel chain again.

This trip brought us to the LeVeque. I opened the door to my room and literally stopped in my tracks. My first thought: Can the interior designer come do my house next? The decor is gorgeous. One of my favorite discoveries was that the gold framing around the mirrors and bed? Plastic. The crisscross "marble" lamp bases? Also plastic. Honestly, brilliant. They look exactly like the kind of ridiculously heavy gold frames and marble lamps that would double as murder weapons in a Dateline episode. The bathroom is huge, the towels are fluffy, and there's a separate privacy door for the toilet--an underrated luxury when traveling. My only room complaint: the shampoo has that generic "guy cologne" scent that never quite smells as good as its creators think it does. The hotel's artwork is classy, and the bar area is comfortable with plenty of couches for lounging. The drinks, however, are pricey. At those prices, the martinis should arrive with special effects--a bubble on top that explodes into smoke, minimum. A minor annoyance: the lobby ran out of Diet Coke for purchase. Unfortunately, Marriott doesn't seem to give employees a small emergency soda fund to run out and buy a case. As for parking, valet would have been nice, but instead you park in the garage around the corner. The attached walkway makes it easy enough, though. Overall: beautiful hotel, stunning rooms, great atmosphere.

There also happened to be an art festival across the street. We parked once that weekend and walked everywhere we wanted to go. The only reason I didn't give it five stars, was our TV volume didn't really work. We even tried to turn it up to like 90 and could barely hear it. They did send service up to try to fix it, but he was unable to. Would definitely stay there again.

I felt $39 for valet parking was very high, especially since the first night my car was not even parked in their lot. I actually felt that they should have refunded part of the valet fee since my car was parked a block and a half away in an unattended lot. I actually felt that for $39 per night that the cars should have been in a garage. The hotel was nice, though we were looking for something to eat late at night after 10:00 p.m. and didn't realize that the sports bar stop serving food after 10:00 p.m. and the restaurant upstairs was packed and very loud. We ended up ordering out doordash which was easier and quicker especially since it was pouring down rain outside. The desk wasn't always staffed while we were there, that included when we called on the phone at 7:00 p.m. to speak with someone and the phone just rang and rang and rang, it also included daytime when we were looking to speak with someone at the front desk and there was no one there. A desk in a downtown hotel should be staffed 24 hours a day. When we booked our room I didn't realize my mother would need a handicapped room. When we finally did get a hold of someone a little bit after 7:00 on that first evening we were able to move to a room that was supposedly handicapped but wasn't quite as I expected it would be. Yes there were rails everywhere in the bathroom but the toilet was low and what really blew my mind was there was a bathtub and anyone who's handicapped like let's say in a wheelchair is not going to be able to get into the bathtub or out very easily. There was a seat underneath the sink that could be set up in the tub but how would somebody if they were handicapped get into and out of it. The first room we had had a nice shower that you could practically walk in without having to climb over the edge of a bathtub. I would have felt that would have been much better of an option for someone handicapped. Drawer space in both rooms was non-existent. In the handicap room there was one drawer underneath the fridge. In the other room there were two drawers. We were there for the weekend, we operated out of the suitcase. They were all so only four hangers. It seemed to me a bit ridiculous that there wasn't enough storage space for someone who might want to unpack if they were there for a week or longer than a weekend. In fact, I've never been in a Marriott hotel that didn't have more storage than this one. It was a bit odd to me. The staff was friendly, helpful, the little store downstairs was nice to pick up some drinks or some snacks, I'm unsure where we would have heated up the frozen dinner or pizza that were in the freezer in that little store since we didn't have a microwave in our hotel room. It was nice that the hotel was close to comfest that was happening while we were visiting the area and that North market was just a block up. It was nice that you could walk to things and weren't always reliant on your car. Again I really wanted to like this hotel thoroughly, but there were just things that didn't make sense and were problematic to me. But since we were there for an event, we didn't have a choice of the hotel for that event.
