I stayed here the night before needing to take a standardized test at the Pearson VUE center in Concord, NH. This Hampton Inn was less than 10 minutes away, so it's a great place to consider if you need a place to stay before your exam. I cannot remember his name, but the gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was so incredibly kind and considerate. He was more than willing to go above and beyond to make the stay perfect. The rooms were clean, the hallways were quiet, there was ample parking, and the hot breakfast the next morning was fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

The facility is located right off the highway which is very convenient. The staff were either extremely friendly and helpful or standoffish, just depended on who you were dealing with. They had a rinse off shower in the pool area. Towels were on a rack nearby. The ADA lift is in the middle of the photo in the back. It was nice to be able to use it -- I generally don't get a chance when I'm traveling overnight. The water was pretty cool so I really appreciated the hot shower in my room. I recently became a Hilton Honors reward member & so far I think it pays off. I've never stayed at this location before, but my employer throws our annual holiday party at Chen Yang Li right across the street with an open bar. Better safe than sorry, so decided to stay overnight. I had done some research before booking the room. The rooms have been fully renovated sometime around 2019/2020. I think the room we had (king bed on the 4th floor) was nice! No lack of mirrors in the room; (2) full length, (1) at the desk & (1) in the bathroom. Checking in is easy. You have the choice of checking in online w/ a digital key or with a human being. The staff member that checked us in was so friendly! Other reviewers mentioned how nice the staff is & they are not wrong. She explained how to find the elevators - the shape/design of the building is a little confusing so we appreciated her instructions. The lobby offers snacks, beverages & some alcohol for sale. The hallways are clean, the room was clean... the overall impression was positive. I liked the sliding door to the bathroom. It made the room efficient. The shower & water pressure was great. Lots of countertop space on the vanity with a shelf under the mirror. Love the floating shelves for towels. They have a hot continental breakfast from 6am to 10am (I didn't go down for this). The pool is on the first floor (below the lobby!) & it's open until 11pm. Checkout is at 12pm! I found that to be different because most places its 11am. The checkout process was as easy as returning the room cards & walking out. They email you your receipt. The products they use for hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner & shower gel are AMAZING. I am going to purchase this product for myself! They use Zero% from Gilchrist & Soames. It's a high end product so it was refreshing to use products that were free of parabens, dyes, & harsh chemicals. Nope! Last night in the middle of a snowstorm my son who was traveling alone was on his way back to college in Plymouth, NH. He did not feel comfortable driving the road conditions were bad with no visibility. I made the reservation for him with ZERO mention of an age policy or a no cancellation policy, they gladly took my money, but they turned him away because they have an age limitation and he's not 21. Nice stealing from your customers and not taking care of a 20 yr old in need. Highly unethical. read more

For the price, this is a very good hotel. It's east to get to, convenient to I-93 and I-89, and just a few miles from downtown Concord, NH. Check-in and check-out are a breeze as well. This hotel's rooms are spacious and clean, the daytime front desk staff - especially the manager (Chris?) and Yura - were especially helpful when we had questions. And, during our third recent stay at this hotel, when our room had seemed noisy due to highway proximity, Yura moved us to a far quieter room immediately. We appreciated her honoring the Hilton 100% satisfaction guarantee. Despite that move, we did hear considerable hallway noise - mostly voices - at night. However, since this hotel seems to be frequented by sports teams, tour groups, and people attending business meetings, I think a certain amount of late-night hallway talk is expected. If you're sensitive to street noise (with two highways nearby), be sure to ask for a room on the quieter side of the building. (Tip: The top floor seems to be the quietest, by far.) This hotel's wi-fi connection is good and fast. Also, we were able to hook our own Roku streaming player up to the TV in our room easily, to access our favorite premium channels. This hotel's breakfasts are exceptionally good, and unexpected in a budget hotel. Their kitchen staff check the food regularly, to be sure there's plenty for every guest, throughout the unusually long time that a free breakfast is available. (We left them a tip; we hope others do the same.) The Hampton Inn bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. (One note: As in many Hilton hotels, the shower floor can be very slippery. Our solution is to place a towel inside the shower, like a floor mat. That prevents any slip-and-fall issues; just make sure the towel doesn't cover the shower drain, or you'll be ankle-deep in water rather quickly.) However, there seemed to be no ventilation in the bathroom. (It's a good excuse to hang up any clothes that were wrinkled in your suitcase. The steam helps release those wrinkles.) Something that we rarely encounter at hotels, but did find here: The housekeeping staff are exceptionally thoughtful and quietly friendly. I think that helps guests feel more at home. Also, this may seem like a finicky detail, but this hotel's luggage racks - the ones you use to move luggage from your car to your room, and back again - are among the best at any Hilton hotel we've visited. During our recent visits to this hotel, my luggage included my computer, my reference materials, etc., so there was a lot to haul into our room. We accomplished that move with just one trip, thanks to great luggage racks. All in all, for the price and the convenient location, as well as the helpful daytime front desk staff and generous breakfasts, we recommend this hotel if you're traveling on a budget. read more

The hotel was easy to get to, just off the highway. Easy, convenient handicapped parking. Reasonable room rates. We received a warm and pleasant greeting when we checked in. Easy check-in. Like we're old, eh! The guy at the check-in counter made sure we had a room on the 1st floor so that we didn't have to walk too far. Nice guy! My girlfriend thought he was cute. That's OK. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Great walk-in shower. Check-out was easy. There were just a few issues. My cell phone didn't work. The pool was warm and enjoyable but there was no hot tub. Bathing suits were mandatory, but that was OK. Breakfast was good but meager. All in all, I really liked the hotel. The rooms were fine and breakfast was okay overall. Note that they are currently short staffed which leads to reduction in services such as the fitness room hours. Great location and the woods around it are gorgeous. The rooms are updated and look fresh! The thermostat works great and the room is very comfortable. Love the sliding barn door for the bathroom! As far as the rooms go, they are wonderful. Unfortunately the pool was closed due to a busted pipe, so the kids didn't get to swim. They do have a nice fitness room, and the free coffee/cookies up front were an added bonus. Breakfast was your typical hotel fare with scrambled eggs/cheese omelettes/sausage/breads and so on. I would have given 5 stars but the pool was closed and that is why I chose this hotel. I do recommend this hotel and would definitely stay with my family again. read more

Stayed here for one night, the room was spacious but the first thing I noticed was how loud the car traffic was. The hotel over looks the highway and also a busy road, it sounded like I was sitting on top of the highway. Thankfully at night I was able to put some white noise on in the background to try to drown out the noise but once 5am came, the traffic and highway became very active. Classic complimentary Hampton inn breakfast. My other complaint was a smoke alarm was chirping in the early hours of the morning. The gym had 3 tredmills and some free weights it was hot in there! I dipped my feet in the pool and it felt warm, just my preference. Overall, I think I would stay at different hotel that was farther away from the highway. read more

We drove all night from. Virginia to Philadelphia to Massachusetts and then New Hampshire.. We have a truck and trailer.. Just want to check into a room and get some rest.. The staff here Is always helpful and let us check in early. Park truck and trailer on-site. Awesome hot breakfast, eggs, bacon sausage and biscuits and gravy amongst other things. Hotel is showing signs of its age. Needs capital improvement work on floorings, corridors and shower plumbing. Water runs very slow. The staff is excellent, with one exception, older guy Tom a bit zealous about making sure motorcyclists didn't park in front under canopy as it is supposed to be A fire lane. However, it wasn't marked as such and there was plenty of room. The free cookies were awesome! I would stay again, but if there was a nicer place to stay, i would pass on this place. read more

Sorely disappointed. I made a reservation in advance. I specifically asked for a king room with a tub. When we arrived, we were told we requested a first floor king with a walk in accessible shower. Not true. The young lady checking us in was clearly not happy in her position. She was not wearing a name tag, so I asked her name. Carmella could not have been more disinterested in assisting us. She was smug and rude. Very much, take it or leave it. She didn't care. I'm ticked I didn't get what I was promised. Check in was a joke. Room is clean, just not what I requested. On a girls trip and the room had been booked since December (it's now June). Got to the hotel and it was under serious renovations which meant no pool or other amenities. We were told the renovations had been posted on their website when we asked why we weren't notified. I cannot find it anywhere on their website. The room we were assigned smelled of sewage so we were moved. The room we moved to had AC but it didn't work. Also, we were never given an explanation of the room charges as the staff at the desk are "not trained" to do this and therefore do not print anything out. There was a discrepancy between what was charged and what was guaranteed for a price. When these issues were brought up to management, the only response we got was "thank you for your feedback". Gotcher basic Standard Issue Hampton Inn here. Reasonably well maintained, showing some signs of aging. Pretty friendly staff. Convenient to Concord, Manchester so I've stayed here a few times when I'm working in the area. I like to go walking at night when I'm out of town and there ain't much to walk to or around here. My wife was kind enough to send me videos of assorted news reports on cleanliness in hotels and hidden camera video of cleaning crews. Ugh. Thanks. Traveling for business is enough fun without that stuff to worry about. Pointers gleaned from these videos (since I can't just stand in the middle of the room and yell Eww!) 1. Don't use the in-room glasses, EVER! 2. Buy some disinfecting wipes for your road kit and hit the remote, phone and other high contact areas. 3. Yank that bedspread off the bed and BURN IT! or at least throw it in a corner out of the way. read more

They take dogs and could give us a room with a walk in shower! We love that. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Only drawback was the fact with an adjoining room - the neighbor's TV and phone ring tones could be heard. Added plus - excellent Chinese restaurant just across South Street. Very disappointed. The walls are paper thin, we were able to hear someone in the next room sneeze. Spent quite a while listening to what sounded like kids jumping on the floor above us. They quit around 10pm but were back at it at 5am. Had what sounded like a party of very, very loud males in the adjacent room. It took 3 calls to the front desk and it was after midnight before they finally shut up. Between 6:30 and 7 am they started loading 3 busses right below our window, crashing, tossing gear in the luggage bins, yelling etc... very, very, very little sleep to be had. Again, walls were paper thin. If this is the way a Hampton Inn is constructed we will be looking at other brands for future stays. I would not take any room around the lobby or on the front side of the building. On a positive note, the front desk staff were very polite and helpful. read more

I stayed here last night with my wife for a single night. We had booked and paid for this hotel a few months ahead of time and then checked into it the day before thanks to the Hilton Honors app. Combine that with the later time that we got there and our check in only took a few minutes. As I had picked on the app our room was on the fourth floor and was a king sized bed. The room itself was tinier than a lot of other Hampton Inns that I have been in and the whole hotel was pretty dated. Thankfully it was at least clean. I don't know if the bed itself was bad but I can tell you that I hard a hard time sleeping through the night which usually isn't a problem for me. Maybe it was the fact that I could hear almost every door in our hallway whenever it was being shut which happened a few times until midnight and then multiple times after 6 AM. As all Hampton Inns do, this one had a continental breakfast which was included in the price for the room. It consisted of the same fare as all of the hilton breakfasts including an omelette, some breakfast meats, yogurt, a waffle maker and more. The breakfast seating area/lobby had been recently updated at least and was by far the nicest part of the hotel. The bottom line for me is that I might stay here again in the future. Yes this was certainly a dated hotel but at least it was clean and provided a roof over our head for the single night that we were here. read more

I stay at a lot of Hampton Inns. This one is mediocre at best, and on the pricey side for what it is. Room was dated, weathered and smoky. Carpet worn and dingy. Breakfast had no hard boiled eggs. There was no breakfast Togo bags on the front desk. read more

Old and worn. We stay here twice a year and it gets worse every time. The bedding is terrible. Pillows and mattress are the worst. The mattress is rock hard and painful to try and sleep on. The pillows are so cheap and thin. The adjustable shower head couldn't be adjusted. The AC never cooled the room. This is not what I expect from a Hampton Inn. read more

I like the Hampton Inn Suites for a couple of reasons. First of all, the staff is great. They are super nice, and they greet me by name all of the time. Granted, I have lived here for the past month for business, but at any rate, they have been great. They even gave me an upgraded two room suite for very little extra. Now, the building is aging a little bit. It is well maintained, but you can tell that it's been around for a bit. They serve a hot breakfast every morning, serve fresh baked cookies at night, and many times have hot soup at the front counter. They have an indoor, heated pool, as well as a small exercise room with machines and a tv. Admittedly, I continue to stay here because I earn a ton of Hilton Honors points for it. Of course, if it actually sucked, I would leave, but it's a good deal all around. read more

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. Horribly outdated, with much of the cloth furniture having major stains. Sheets came off bed while sleeping, and saw the tag on the bed was clearly dated 3/97 (over 20 years old). No wonder I had so much back pain. The lobby is renovated, but that's about the only redeeming feature of his filthy place. Extremely disappointing that this is the only Hilton option in Concord. So much for loyalty and points, when doing business in Concord I stay at Marriotts now. read more

My family has been giving this hotel location business for many years. In the previous years we were always satisfied. I think the staff has changed, because we received horrible customer service. My grandmother had called early in the day to make sure we could use the coupon provided in the local paper. When we got there the front desk staff was rude, inconsiderate, and un-accommodating. The man at the front desk refused to accept the coupon and when we asked to speak to the manager he pretended to go to the back office and speak to the manager. We were able to hear him laughing with a co-worker about lying to us. He came back and flat out told us they were not going to accept coupons. This man was un-professional and disrespectful. It is a shame, because this was our go to place, but until they change the staff we are not going to return. read more

As Hampton Inns go, this property stands out on the exceptional side. The staff were outstanding and very pleasant. The hotel itself was nice and honestly in much better shape then many of the Hampton Inns I have stayed at before. As a general rule I never like eating at these type of hotel buffets but this one was as good as any. Frankly, it was at least as good as the Hilton I stayed in a couple of days later. Stunning room. The staff was very friendly. We did not have any problem with stains, or used towels. Our AC worked quite well and was very quiet. We had no issues like that at all. For our convenience, there were strip outlets with USB ports, good thing because I'm always losing the bricks to plug in. There is coffee and tea available for you in the lobby, which for me is always a plus they even had decaf tea at night time. And the continental breakfast spread was plentiful and absolutely delicious. read more

I stayed her four days three nights and had a pretty good stay. The room and bathroom were clean when I got there. Never ran out of hot water. Breakfast was good. The in window AC was a little weird about keeping temperature, but I didn't roast. I just couldn't get it to my preferred temperature at night. I left behind some custom printed shirts that would have been difficult to impossible to replace. I noticed two weeks later and called them and they had them in lost and found and shipped them out to me. Fantastic service! read more

After all of the hotels in the Boston area were booked, we finally found this one with a room available. We either continued to drive out of our way to next days destination or scoop it up. As many of the others reviews disclose, this Hampton Inn is dated and in need of some upgrade. The room liked to blow me away with the fragrance when we opened the door. Seriously, if I had a sensitive nasal passage and was susceptible to migraines I would have definitely gotten one. Luckily the worst was a lot of sneezing. The beds are not the most comfortable and the pillows...forget it! The pillows are so flimsy I had to keep one scrunched up on top of another with my hand all night to support my neck, I'm a sides sleeper. The bathroom needs lots of help. The light switch was hidden behind the blow drier plug, which was in the wall outlet in the mirror; who looks for the light switch in the mirror! Took me far to long to find the damn light. Once I flipped the switch I went looking for another hidden one because the shower area of the room was still very dark and that was the task at hand. No luck. Took shower in the light equivalent to candles. I tried to adjust the water pressure via the shower head but it just came off in my hand, ugh. Reassembled. I decided to just get through with it. Unfortunately the handicap bar was directly in my way during the whole shower, I kept turning into it, I have stayed at many other hotels across the world, this placement cannot be right. I just hope my trip to this area does not require a stay here again; until they renovate at least. read more

In the last year, I've stayed in three Hampton Inn's before today. I had such a pleasurable stay the first three times, I did not think to check customer reviews on this one. Much to my dismay. It sucks. The star I am giving is for the front desk staff only. Friendly and on point. The cleaning staff however, leave a lot to be desired. That being said, the furniture is extremely dated and extremely worn. The television is at least five years old, not even a smart t.v. which one would expect ftom a Hampton. All in all, the vibe is that of a pay by the week landing zone for not quite broke transients on a downward spiral. read more

My parents stayed at this hotel July 4th weekend with a tour group. The room smelled musty and the carpets looked dirty. When they went to bed, my mom started feeling itchy and by 2AM, she got up to take a shower because she couldn't stand it anymore. At first she thought it was a food allergy, but then had the feeling that it could be bedbugs. They removed the comforter and saw at least 20 bedbugs crawling on the sheets and on the pillows. They showed a couple of bugs they killed to the front desk and packed up all their things. Luckily, there was another vacant room but they would have been willing to sleep in the lobby after that.. It looked like the bedbugs had been in that room for awhile and who knows what other rooms had them too. They searched the new room for bugs and didn't find any, but couldn't fall asleep after that ordeal. The next morning, they didn't have time to talk to the supervisor but when they returned that evening, the receptionist gave them a small box of chocolates and a bottle of wine. There was no sorry, no nothing and she had to ask to talk to the supervisor. They told him what had happened and showed all the pictures, but surprise! no apology from him either. She declined the wine and chocolates. They offered to run all their belongings through a large dryer, which they accepted since they obviously didn't want to bring the bugs home. My mom had to ASK for a night's refund, there was no nice gesture to refund that nights room cost. They didn't consider how horrifying it is to be bitten all over by blood sucking bugs that are in bed with you? You'd think the nice thing to do would be to refund their two-night stay after such a traumatic experience. They offered to refund one night AFTER BEING ASKED and initially just tried to pass it off with some wine and chocolates. According to the hotel, it was just "bad luck." Yes, it's bad luck but their service was just horrendous. My parents were so disgusted that they didn't accept the refund either. DON'T COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BED BUGS AND TO BE TREATED LIKE TRASH. read more

Convenient to my meeting location the next day and right off the highway with a gas station across the street. As Hampton Inns go, this one was a little run down but clean. The room itself is quiet but I could hear the doors on nearby rooms open/close but I am a heavy sleeper so it really didn't bother me. The only reason this is a 2 is because the staff is pleasant and helpful. This had to be the worst Hampton Inn experience I've ever had. The hotel is going through a renovation, so I get some things. But, first off. The bed was so uncomfortable that we couldn't get a good nights sleep. I woke up from my intermittent "naps" during the night with major back pain. The air conditioning was intermittent all night. Either you were freezing or sweating. I'm surprised that there were not thunder storms in the room with all the temperature changes. Plus they stuck us in the basement with a view of a dumpster blocking our window. I'm a member of the Hilton Honors program, booked this room over a month in advance and it was a three night stay, In my preference for the program I ask for a room on an upper floor. I think I could have at least not had a room with a dumpster view. My room not cleaned the first day even though we were gone most of the day. I have stayed here in the past and was not thrilled but it was tolerable, it has gotten worse. It is obvious the owner of this hotel does not care. Hopefully Hilton reviews then to get them up to standard. read more

This hotel has a lot of potential as it is currently being renovated. We were lucky to be staying in a room that had already been renovated and the updates looked great. Lots of outlets for charging electronics, the bathroom spacious and clean beds super comfortable. The downside to all these updates Is that the second and first floors were still being worked on, this meant lots of dust and dirt in the elevators and hallways and noise. We were staying with a group of five other families and our kids for a hockey tournament. Upon checking in we found out the pool was closed. This of course led to a group of disappointed children. In addition the gym was also closed for renovations. Breakfast was free and better than some of the other hotel chains I have had. We complained upon checkout about the lack of amenities and were given 10k loyalty points. Not sure what that translates to in Hilton Honors program but it was something. read more

My bf and I stayed here for the night. The room we booked didn't come with a microwave or fridge. A short time after arriving at our room, there was a knock at our door. A microwave and mini fridge were being brought for our use. That's great customer service. Now as for the room , it was large, and clean. Nice place to hang out. read more

Not up to par with every other Hampton I've stayed at. The bathroom was tiny. The Mini fridge did not work. Hampton beds are usually top notch; This bed felt like a 20 year old box spring mattress and no matter what we did we could not get the sheets to stay on. I was waking up every 30 minutes to adjust the sheets and they would simply slide right off as soon as I got back in. We were literally sleeping on the bare mattress! I've stayed at much cheaper motels and never had this problem. Went to work feeling cranky and exhausted the next day. Whole point of the getaway was to get a decent nights sleep with my girlfriend. This did not happen. I would have been better off sleeping on the carpet. read more
