So refreshing to stay in a hotel that is run so well. All the front desk staff was courteous and eager to please. Rooms were very clean which is super important to me. Breakfast was nice with waffles, oatmeal, pre made omelets and yogurt. Served 6-10 am. They allow dogs as we saw a couple of cuties. Pool is open till 10 and was never crowded. Just know if you stay for 2 nights, your room will not be cleaned by housekeeping staff as they do it every other day. You just go to the front desk for fresh towels. Tea, coffee and hot cocoa available 24-7. Small convenience store open 24-7. Very impressed with this hotel, Hats off to the management. read more

Stayed at the Hampton for 6 nights- total costs a little over 1K... The rooms are nothing to brag about and esp not for over 100$ a night. The fitted sheets, didn't fit. There was no extra drawers to store anything so we had to pile our clothes on top of the stand where the fridge was located. The staff was nice tho. Just would've expected a little more frills for a diamond member and frequent traveler. It just had the feeling of staying at a budget hotel. Pros: if you smoke there is a comfortable covered area next to the pool with ashtrays. Pool are looked clean. Also there were a lot of seating in the eating area. Been staying here to take care of my mom in the nearby hospital. Under the unfortunate circumstances it's great to not have to worry about anything besides taking care of my mom. The hotel has been great with me extending my stay a few days at a time. The hotel is in a great location. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and the free breakfast is top notch for a hotel breakfast. The hotel is also pretty friendly which is important to me as I have my pup with me. It's a comfortable hotel. We travel for work a lot and we do have some perks with our kind of status for the Hilton Hotel chains. We happened to come during spring break here in Alabama (which we thought we had avoided due to our spring break being a week prior) We had originally needed to hotel for a few days but only ended up needing it for one night. Veronica Steele was very helpful. She's very sweet & very thorough. I appreciate her service and I definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area. The lobby is clean, the fitness room was clean. We did not use the pool but we walked around and it was also fairly clean. Our room was fairly comfortable & I didn't have any complaints. read more

The cost of the room was a little pricey for a Hampton, but all in all it was a pleasant stay and the staff was very helpful. It's a little overpriced right now, as most hotels are. But it's very clean and service is great. The front desk manager (blond headed) that I called to make a special request was very nice and accommodating. When I arrived, she remembered my request and made sure it happened. Very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay here. Room was very spacious with lots of space for us to eat together at the table area. We ordered using the door dash app as suggested by the front desk clerk because we got in late. Breakfast was good. Had an appointment down here near Foley and I'm a Hampton guy so easy pick for me. Very happy!!! Great service, nice staff, clean room, and just happy people there. I love it when they make you feel at home, go out of their way to help in any way, and its clean and relatively new. This is why I try to stay only at Hampton Inns.... not all Hampton Inns are great - but this one is! The rate is very appropriate, the staff was really helpful and the rooms are clean. Really clean. I am not sure if mine was a standard, but I have to say, as a VERY experienced traveler, it had the best shower I have ever seen in a regular room. The hotel is new, modern, and very clean. If I was rating only the facility I would give 5 stars. My 4 star rating is because of two issues. I stayed two nights and on both mornings the housekeeping staff was persistently knocking on my door by 9 a.m. to clean the room. I did not try the breakfast but the coffee was burned and bitter to the point where it was not fit to drink. I am a hilton honors member with frequent stays and have not experienced either of these issues at other hilton properties. read more

Stayed here for the weekend of the Hangout Fest and it was absolutely great. Good breakfast in the mornings and very friendly staff. Everyone was very helpful and courteous - while bringing breakfast back upstairs one morning, an employee helped me package everything up to more easily carry it. Housekeeping made sure that we had clean towels every morning. Overall, a very pleasant stay for the weekend. Definitely would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a place close to the Gulf Shores area. read more

The hotel was nice and reasonable priced. You are 11 miles from Gulf Shores and orange beach which was great for my family when we wanted to get away and cool down. The amenities were decent. Pool area was a very basic outdoor pool. The breakfast was decent and filling. We did see a bug a first night there but other than that the hotel was good. read more

I can't say enough about the Hampton Inn in Foley, Alabama. It has a family-run vibe, meaning warm, welcoming and gracious. At the same time, I could see its being a perfect spot for professional gatherings and meetings. Seems it can serve a variety of needs. It has all the amenities without being so lavish that you overpay, i.e., has great rooms, outdoor pool, fitness room, meeting rooms and a complimentary buffet breakfast from 6-10am which, incidentally, is delicious! There is a 24/7 "Suite Shop" where you can add to your room bill (or pay cash for) food items including in-room microwavable stuff. The bedding was superior - so-o-o-o comfortable. After returning home, I thought I had left a gold ring behind. It had been a week since checking out but I called the office anyway. They were utterly courteous and a manager assured me they were looking and inquiring of all staff and would let me know. A day later, I discovered it at home and called back to tell them. I woke up in the middle of the night after getting bit several times on my arms and face by a bedbug. I looked around and found the bug on my pillow and killed it. The next morning I asked Leann, one of the managers, to speak to her in private so I could tell her about this incident without the other guests hearing. Leann was very helpful and nice. However, the general manager, Jennifer James, was very unprofessional and rude. She brought the bug that I killed to the main desk and discussed the matter in front of everyone, not caring that other guests could hear about bugs being in her hotel rooms. She told me this bug wasn't the same size, shape, or color as a bedbug so I asked her if she knew what one looked like and she said no. So how would she know it wasn't the same if she's never even seen one? I then googled pictures of bedbugs showing her that they look EXACTLY the same and she blatantly lied saying they just didn't look alike to her. The type of bug isn't even the problem though. Instead of arguing with me about what kind of bug it was, she should have just apologized for the numerous swollen and inflamed bite marks I have on my face and arms that I received while staying in HER hotel. I didn't want my money back, all I wanted was a different room or to have mine cleaned but Jennifer ruined my entire experience. She refunded my money and essentially kicked me out because they had to do an inspection and had no other available rooms. I went to the Holiday Inn across the street to see if they had any rooms, which they did not, but they took it upon themselves to call other hotels in the area and found a room for us at another hotel even though we weren't even their customer. The Hampton staff just left us stranded. Everything else about The Hampton was phenomenal, but I will never be back at this location because of the general manager, Jennifer James. read more
