This hotel was horrible. The bathroom door was swollen and hard to open and close. Both the sink and floor had cracks and the tub had mold. The silverware was dirty, the counters had sticky residue. The couch was so old it was ridiculous to even get a comfortable seat. The floor was dirty, and the curtain separating the room(suite) was torn. These are a few of the issues. The windowsill also had a sticky residue on it. The worst thing about this hotel is their beds with horrible mattresses and flimsy sheets. Would I stay here again...nope! read more

Initially, we checked in and were greeted by, I think, his name was "Rob"; he does sales at the property. He immediately recognized our status and made sure we had a nice room. He was pretty much the highlight of the stay, being checked in by him. The negative of the property; The gym floors do not appear as if they have ever been cleaned. I saw the same dirt and grime on the floor throughout my entire visit while at the property. The room did not have a working garbage disposal. The floors are the thinnest floors I have ever experienced at a hotel (If you read through the threads, others complain about this too). If you get down to breakfast anytime past 7:45 AM, Walmart is better civilized than this place. It is beyond crowded, and the waffle machine, forget trying even to use that. The staff is not on top of this area's madhouse, as there were a lot of items not restocked. I would describe how condescending and mean Peggy at the front desk is. But, in the end, I do not think it will make a big difference with management. We had several interactions with her in person and on the phone over several days. For people to say she was helpful or has been helpful in the past must be dealing with a completely different Peggy than we watched over our entire trip while we were there. Would I stay here again, not unless there was no other option. I would have to be on the 4th floor and use whatever side door possible to try and avoid any form if interaction with Peggy. read more

We are all entitled to our own opinions, right? Well here's mine: Parking: 3 Location: 4 Decor/ambiance: 5 Customer Service: 5 Gorgeous Hotel! Its barely 2 years old. Great staff and front desk peps! The location is dope as it sits right across the street from a butt load of outlets! It also sits right off the 'main drag' that takes you into Gulf Shores! Its literally 6-10 minutes away from all the action in Gulf Shores. The only bad point her is the walls are dumb thing. We could hear the peoples TVs next door on BOTH SIDES of us the entire night. Now mind you they probably had the tvs on 30-40% but still, it was crazy loud. There was also people upstairs running the hallways and the stomping was so loud. Other than that, the space was clean and tidy as well as modernized. They have all of the modern options for you. I would strongly recommend getting something on the top floor away from people! read more

I'm going to give the actual hotel 5 stars. I booked online with no pictures so I was a little worried. The room was huge.(201). So much floor room. A stocked kitchenette with a full size fridge, micro and dishwasher. I also has a pull out sofa. The shade comes down by remote which the kids thought was fancy! Lol The only drawback, which was huge because we had called to see how early we could check in and they said 3pm which is normal check out. We went to the beach to blow time and had movie tickets for 5:05 pm. We came to the hotel at 3:45 and they didn't have our room clean. There were more families waiting also. But we didn't get into our room until 4:45 so we had no time to shower or get dressed for the movie. That was a huge disappointment. I will let them know since there was a big sign in the foyer about their satisfaction guarantee. Overall the stay was amazing! read more

Booked 2 rooms on November 16th 2023 for a volleyball tournament on the weekend of March 15th - 17th 2024. We arrived for check in with our confirmation number, and they had gave our two rooms away by double booking. Drove all the way from South Louisiana, just to be told that we had no rooms available even with our confirmation code. Just Sad!! read more

Checked in, bed was visibly crappy. Went immediately to the front desk to request a change and the front desk attendant (anna) informed us that they couldn't change our room because we booked through a third party with a condescending nasty attitude. She kept saying we should have booked with them instead of a third party with quite an attitude while interrupting everything i said. In the end she sent us back to our room and said to speak with a manager in the morning. The manager in the morning had the same nasty attitude about third party booking. They were acting as if we were paying a cheap price. the price we paid was five dollars less than retail. Manager of course offered no solutions or apologies. on top of the bed being bad the bathroom had mold all over it. The dishwasher smelled like something died in it. The walls were sticky. Every single appliance was dirty. The walls were paper thin and you could hear everything that anyone near you were doing and the house keeper barged in the room without knocking not once but twice within a hour. Thought with it being a hilton hotel it would be a nice place to stay, i thought wrong it's a CRAPHOLE with nasty condescending employees. read more

The room was spotless. Amy and Penny that worked the front desk during my stay were extremely helpful and nice. Flo had the breakfast bar on point every morning and was on standby to help and keep it clean. This is my hotel of choice for this area. read more

We LOVE this place! Staff were really nice and greeted us professionally even the housekeepers they were very polite. When we came in the room it was clean the tv says welcome and it had my name on it. Shower was excellent and there's big bottles of body wash and shampoo in there already...in case you forget to bring yours, so it helps! Beds were comfortable and it was perfect especially we love sleeping with the room cold. Oh and the window was fully covered you can't even tell if there's daylight outside. If you love breakfast, they have some great variety of choices (the kids love the waffles). As far as parking lot, it was well lit and so that made me feel comfortable because I don't like dark parking my car especially if we're not from the area. Only downside was we can hear the people walk around upstairs. This hotel was created customer focus and I love that. Home2 has been our favorite place to stay everywhere we travel. read more

Beds from hell !! Spongy cheap beds left us with backaches and a horrible nights sleep. When I complained to the front desk clerk he tried to relocate us to the Hampton or the Holiday Inn which are their sister hotels under the same ownership. It was the weekend and rates had increased dramatically and the owner said "no". He chose profits over customer satisfaction. This is a beautiful hotel that unfortunately has been outfitted with cheap substandard bedding so just be aware that if a good nights sleep is important to you, it won't happen here. And the owner could care less about you as a customer. Also, we were later told that the owner had cut costs by installing the same cheap mattresses in the other sister hotels so moving us there would have been a painful waste of time anyway. Additionally, there is NEVER anyone at the front desk so you will have to search for someone to help you. read more

We just stayed for one night, to pass through AL, and thank God it was only one night. Immediately entering the room the kitchen floor was dirty, so were the floors in the bathroom with a mixture of hairs and dirt, the counter tops look like they've just been wiped off with a dry towel and not cleaned, opted to skip taking a shower because it was apparent that was definitely not cleaned. The carpet and couch (and remote control ironically) were riddled with little white dog hairs. It is really surprising for the money you pay, that this is actually a Hilton. Other Hiltons I've experienced, you get the quality you pay for. It's a shame this place is new and already lacking. If you are a stickler for cleanliness (especially since this is an extended stay) I would not choose this hotel. The place is beautiful on the surface, with very nice amenities, however it left me wondering how clean the rest of the hotel/amenities really are. read more

Hotel is new (3 weeks to be exact) so everything was nice and up to date thats the reason for 4 stars. However, the staff (while nice) lacked initiative. They are all young. There really needs to be an older more experienced manager on duty to help keep things clean. This hotel will be run down if it stays on the track it already is on. The main lobby floor was consistently dirty. I was a little surprised at the being that the hotel is just weeks old. There is a light fixture already cracked in the hallway on the fourth floor and while during our stay, one of the elevators quit working and had to be worked on. I just think there could be some improvements in the long term care of this hotel. all in all, we were pleased. read more

The hotel is very clean and has a wonderful front desk staff. There are teams that stay occasionally and we're well behaved and observed a reasonable curfew. Compliments to the front desk staff who handled a rude, belligerent guest with professionalism. Have nothing but good things to say and will stay here again. read more

This hotels location I thought was perfect for seeing Foley. The hotel is pet friendly and I would say a little too friendly. The grounds surrounding the hotel was littered with dog waste everywhere. It rained several days that we were there and the pets/owners did not want to get wet so the entrance awning area was littered with dog waste that was never cleaned up. Most of this situation was created by a storm the week prior that damaged parts of Mississippi and Louisiana with folks staying in the area until they could go home. I would consider staying here again simply because of it's location. read more
