It upsets me how unprofessional the girl who check us in, we drove from Florida and she took awhile to check us in. She was on her personal phone sounds aggravated then she went back and also took a long time before assisting us. I would give it 5 star but with her no thanks. She also gave so much attitude towards me. Also when my partner asked for late check out she didn't answer. So I guess it was.. Please leave your problems at home don't bring it at work! Currently undergoing a renovation. It will be done in a month. None of the renovated rooms were available when we stayed here. The current rooms are dated. The window opens and the rooms smell fresh or have no smell. All the rooms have a fridge and microwave. They are pleasant for the most part. We had to change rooms due to the first room was filled with ants in the bathroom. .They were all over the vanity and floor of the bathroom. All day they have hot water and coffee set out. They also have tea and hot coco. Free breakfast was a nice touch. They have a huge variety. Hot dishes and an assortment of pastries and quick breads. They have a waffle machine and cold cereal. Hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, bread, and bagels. There is also an attendant on hand to keep the area clean and refilled. I had the lucky charms for breakfast. A real treat as we don't have them at home. I would stay here again as the price is right, the free breakfast, free parking, gym, and pool. Also no resort fees. read more

We had the pleasure of staying here this past weekend for Labor day. Michelle at the front was very cordial and polite. She knew customer service and how to make us feel welcomed. She explained the breakfast in the morning, which was great to start the day. Michelle also was able to help us locate dinning in the area as well as help us with after hours utensil search!! The rooms were clean, so was the bathroom we had blow dryer, iron and ironing board at our service as well as a microwave and refrigerator which was appreciated. The coffee and tea bar was great, for us folks who like coffee or tea at bedtime. If we take a trip to San Francisco again, will be sure to stay here again. For reference, I'm a Hilton Honors Gold Member 1 star off The first room we checked in wasn't clean, I spent maybe 5 seconds inside the room and returned to the lobby right away. Front desk changed us to a different room, but I was initially thrown off that her first response wasn't "I apologize for this inconvenience". She later made up for it by expressing apology towards the end. I was going to leave it at 4 stars until check out. The day before, I made sure to request a late check out of 12:30 PM. Not a five star hotel but a very decent place for the room rates they have for short or long term stays. A pretty good deal with breakfast. My wife & I have stayed here a a couple of instances & find it a good location for all the places we need to be. Close proximity & easy access to freeway. This hotel can easily get quite full like in our previous stay when there was a concert in the Levi's Stadium but on our most recent stay here during the Labor Day weekend, rates were good for a holiday & there was not a lot of people. Front Desk worker named Michelle was very kind and friendly to us. Always ready to assist us with anything we need (e.g. like giving info about breakfast & the hotel, giving replacement towels & toiletries & even provided us quarters when we did our laundry inside the hotel). The housekeepers are nice & helpful as well, always willing to help out or answer any questions or smile when we see them through the hallways. read more

This is my favorite place to stay when I'm working in the South Bay. Great deals for my weekend stays and a personal feel to the service. They give me free dedicated parking for my Diamond status and a really decent free breakfast. My customer service experience has been wonderful largely due to the efforts of manager Nicholas Scott and Kimmi Harris who work to create a customer friendly environment and have graciously recovered and returned occasional items I've left behind with no hassle whatever. Just my casual observation over time suggests that they work to maintain a positive customer experience for all their guests. This looks like an older Hampton Inn that they tried to remodel. They did a decent job....the lobby looks great, the hallways have new carpeting, etc - but my room definitely has that 90's appeal. The common areas have been remodeled, but my room was pretty dark and gloomy (see picture). Hotel staff was extremely friendly (kudos for that!) - but for the price per night, the other local hotels look a bit more modern for about the same price. Would I come back? I'll preface this by saying that I stay in hotels maybe 60 nights a year. I needed to catch an early flight from SJC and stayed in this hotel as it is within 29 minutes of the airport. When I got there the app wasn't working so no digital key (also, no big deal) I got a room key and went to my room which was hotter than outside. I tried to turn the thermostat down but then found that the thermostat isn't connected to the AC/heater so I set the temp on the ac and left for dinner. When I got back the room was still hot and the AC is only blowing stagnant ambient temp air. I went to see if there was an issue with the AC in my room and if I could get a different room and then was told that there are no other rooms available. This Hampton Inn needs a little love and a lot of maintenance. Being so close to Silicon Valley - I'd think it would be better but I know where I will not be staying on a summer night again. I have no idea why my fellow yelpers were disappointed with this property. From the evening cookies to the round-the-clock, fresh coffee to the ample breakfast to the impeccably pristine rooms, why would you stay anywhere else? First of all, the customer service reigned supreme. Every interaction with staff was friendly. The woman who worked breakfast during our stay (6/20-23) seriously did not rest for a minute! Everything was fresh and replenished before having to ask. Breakfast options were as follows: DIY waffles, a hot egg and meat option, four different types of cold cereal, prepared oatmeal with toppings on the side, yogurt, pastries and muffins, bagels, bread, juices, and my personal favorite: fresh fruit salad - one morning it was a variety of melons and citrus fruits, the following day it was strawberries and blueberries, the last morning it was pineapple, strawberries and citrus. They also had two different takeaway fruits from bananas, pears and oranges. Sugar free syrup! The room was a good size, and since we faced the parking lot, it was very quiet. There's a microwave, mini fridge and coffeemaker. Nice toiletries. And clean clean CLEAN! Although we had neighbors, the walls are not paper thin as we didn't hear a peep outta them. Tip: ask for a corner room, top floor. You won't have anyone above you and neighbors only on one side. Sure you'll need to walk from the elevator but who cares? Peace and quiet will be yours. P.S., the only reason I didn't give five stars is that my new rule is, once I've patronized a business twice (to make sure that it was not a fluke) , I will edit the review accordingly but this was a five star stay. We stayed at this hotel last night for the Taylor Swift concert. We got there a little early and was hoping to check in but was told we needed to wait until 2pm. We were happy with that so we hung out in the lobby waiting. During this time the two front desk workers started pushing each other and yelling. This went in for about 30 min with them stepping back into an office area but you could still hear them. We never got into a room early (despite them being ready) because the workers were busy fighting with each other. I've stayed at the Hampton Inn over in Mipitas before, so I was expecting the same great experience I had over there in this Fremont location. Expectations were met and was satisfied with my stay. The staff were nice and helpful. The front desk agent always greeting you with a "hello" or a smile or both! This particular Hampton Inn seemed a little bit bigger than the Milpitas location. The breakfast area is separated from the lobby. There is a TV in both the lobby and breakfast area for guest to view while they are lounging. Just like all Hampton Inns breakfast is included with your stay from 6AM-10AM. Breakfast was satisfactory and being free poises no complaints. It's generally a continental breakfast with bagel, bread, fruits, pastries, bacon, sausages, egg, biscuit, eggs, English muffin, yogurt, etc. Juice is available only during breakfast, but Coffee (robust, regular, decaf) and hot water are available 24hrs a day! There is a computer and printer for all guests to use. Internet access is also included in the room. There is a pool if you are interested in going swimming and a small fitness center with several cardio machines if you need to break sweat. These are pretty much standard findings at a Hampton Inn, which is why I like to stay here. My experience here was no different than my Milpitas stay. Which is a good thing. It's nice to see consistency from franchised hotels that carry the brand name and are overlooked by Hilton. Hampton Inns are part of the Hilton Brand, so if you are a Hilton Honors member, make sure to add your member # so you get points for your stay. The rooms here were very clean and the bed was comfortable. I have no complaints. Just like other Hilton brand hotels, if you forgot some hygiene products such as your toothbrush; all you have to do is ask the front desk and they will supply it for you free of charge! Some people overlook the Hampton Inn because they go with bigger brands, but what people don't realize Hampton is part of Hilton and my stays there shows the Hilton quality in both quality and service. I'd definitely stay here again or any Hampton Inn! P.S., I gave them 4 stars because just like the Milpitas location, at the time there was only 1 front desk person during my weekend stay, and when they get busy they have to do several things at once which may hold up helping what you need, but that's not their fault. read more

We are staying at the Hampton Inn in Fremont and were awakened to a loud group of people talking and laughing at about 3:20 AM on 5-7-17. In my confusion of just waking up, I thought we were lodged on the backside of the hotel. I called the front desk to ask them to take care of it, but it went on for another 20 mins. I then realized that it was the "smokers lounge" the hotel maintains near the front entrance. Apparently the front desk was oblivious to this and it continued. Suggestion, ask for a room away from the smokers lounge or try another place. read more

The property is conveniently located to freeways and there are many good restaurants nearby. Breakfasts aren't the best but they are generally ok. While Im a loyal Marriott gold patron, stayed here due to proximity to my client and lack of decent Marriott options in the area. Did not partake in free breakfast, but their to-go am brown bag was a big hit. I had a bottle of water for the day and a 100 calorie bar for a mid day snack. The room was well laid out and no issues with the WiFi, which seems to trouble many hotels. My only complaint would be the crappy thin towels, but otherwise a good option in the area. read more

Room 124 had a leaking toilet that soaked the carpet in the room. I tried to call the front desk to report the problem but the phone in the room didn't work either. Front desk staff moved us to room 122. When I checked out the room to make sure the carpet was not wet, I didnt notice the mirror on the closest was broken. My husband saw when all the lights were turned on so I had to run to the front desk AGAIN to let them know before they charge me for the broken mirror. Upon getting ready to wash up, I looked and the toiletries were dirty. Disgusted! Being tired from a long 8 hr drive and having to moved rooms after unpacking then having run up AGAIN to report more problems, made me a very unsatisfied patron and very disappointed with the condition of the rooms. Although it is a little difficult to find, this is a very well kept Hampton Inn. I was greeted by a super friendly Hampton Employee who told me where everything was and how to get to my room. My room had a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Free Wifi, a very well stocked vending machine (It even had Ramen Noodles) and a place to do laundry were very nice touches. Although I initially resisted the "fresh baked" chocolate chip cookie when came back from dinner I think I am going to go get one now! Thank you for a nice stay. read more

My husband stays at this hotel 40 nights a year, and now I have been able to join him. It is like coming home. The crew is SO nice!!! The manager Nick does a fabulous job keeping a happy crew, who seem to genuinely enjoy working here. I work out of the room and it is like friends come in to visit. I was extremely upset with my stay. My stay was from June 22nd to June 24th. My cousin and I originally booked the room to clear our heads and have a pleasant stay being that we were putting my mom to rest on June 22nd. Also my moms birthday and birthday party was June 24th. The night of June 23rd I went to lay down and there was a roach in my bed! A ROACH!!! How disgusting and filthy is that. So then my cousin and I begin to worry if there were more and if they got on our clothes that were in the closet. We then went to the front lobby to request something be done. I was told by the guy at the front desk whom name was Paul. That he could only change the rooms and that's all due to him not being a manager. He said that he could only transfer my cousin and I to a king bed. Which was cheaper than the two queen. So we had to downgrade a room because of the inconvenience of them having roaches!!!! We paid more for a two queen bed room only to be put and sharing a one king bed room!!!! I was told to contact manager when he would come back which was Monday at 6am. It was Saturday night!!! I finally spoke with the manager Nick only for him to offer the few dollars difference for the change to a king room. Not once did he try to compensate me for the bug being in the bed. The manager then asks me in his words " so what do you want to be compensated for the entire night?" With an attitude. He then agrees to compensate me for that night. Finally before I end the call he asks me to send him the video I have of the roach so he can inform their exterminators of the new problem. So I wonder what other bugs do they have??!
