I've stayed in many hotels and so far this is like one of the most least accommodating ones that I've stayed. I'm not saying all, but there's only one receptionist named Trena whom I felt was more empathetic in my situation and was the only one who made us feel welcome and seemed happy to help. When I first arrived, I was struggling to unload everything out of the car since I had my baby in a stroller and they were able to assist me. All other members made it feel like we were bothering them when we are asking for help. We are a military family and we stayed here for a long-term maybe for over two weeks while waiting for our apartment to be available. We have a newborn and cats. They have so much red tape tapes and house rules when it comes to housekeeping. They keep on saying that it's California law that guests must stay out during housekeeping, however when I looked it up I cannot find any law saying that guests must stay out when they're doing housekeeping. One of their house rules is that we cannot stay at all inside the room while their housekeeping second is that we have to keep the cats in the kennel when they are housekeeping. Having to put the cats in the kennel and moving outside the lobby with a newborn every other day is not an easy job. I tried to compromise and put the cats inside the bathroom while they clean the main area, but they still won't allow or accept that compromise. They're just not understanding at all with certain people's situation. When it comes to following rules, they're pretty black and white and unwilling to help customers out. read more

The room was nice. And my family loved the room. Im giving them 1 star because the staff that works for the breakfast are REALLY rude. It is not even worth eating the breakfast there. The Mexican lady was yelling at people. It was 9:15am and I kindly asked if there are more fruits . But she said, no no no no more maybe tomorrow. So they stop refilling the breakfast around 9-915am. So she needs to be retrained or they need to hire another person for that position. read more

Avoid This Hotel - Dirty, Uncomfortable, Zero Housekeeping, Terrible Service Horrible outdated beds so uncomfortable we had to borrow a mattress from my mom's pull-out couch to double up ours. My daughter was getting jabbed in the back by the bar frame otherwise. No housekeeping at all during our 3-night stay, despite a bathroom placard promising service every other day. We had to beg the front desk for towels two days straight. When asked why, they just said "we're not a full-service hotel" -- lame excuse. One employee approved a late checkout; the next day a different one claimed no record of it and forced us out on time. The room and floors already looked filthy on check-in, which explains everything. Plenty of better hotels nearby -- I wish we'd picked literally any of them. Horrible service to the point that I don't recommend anyone to stay here. Staff members ignore my requests by deferring to another dept. One lady from breakfast area talked down on me and laughed at me. Day 1: Milk in carton was close to expiration date and was spoiled when I took a sip. I informed the desk staff . She said kitchen staff will take them away and replace newer milk cartons. Day 2: Same milk cartons with same expiration date. Thought they replaced with good milk. Same issue, spoiled milk. Spoke to kitchen staff about it, She didn't replace the milk right away to avoid other customers experiencing spoiled milk. Her reply is that they will replace it tomorrow. Asked cleaning lady to clean our room she told me to let the front desk know. Front desk say they won't clean today because schedule is every other day. Going green program is not so great when I went with every 3 days for cleaning and they don't even do it. Have to go with 4 days now. Now my room is smelly from trash! Very upsetting. Day 4: By now I don't bother to ask for help in anyway. My spoon fell into an empty pot at the breakfast place when the pot lid slide off and fell onto my plate. Causing my spoon to bounce up and fell into the pot. I tried to get it out. One staff came over and insulted me and talk down on me. Staff didn't even bother to ask what happened. Just came straight to me and insulted me. Even told me that I should have asked for a staff to help get the spoon. I would if the last 3 staff members do what was requested. All 3 staff members rolled their eyes and turned their face away when they responded to me. With this level of rudeness, bad attitude, and uncaring people, I won't be coming back to this place. This hotel space used to be something else years ago, and I stayed at that place a few times. We had a family wedding in Livermore and decided to try it out. We'd never stayed at a Home2 Suites before, and didn't know quite what to expect. Check in was easy, and I was happy with the expanded room size. Two queen beds, a sofa area and a desk were great. Full size fridge was useful. Our room was comfortable during our stay. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. There were breakfast bowls that were hard from being under the heat lamp for so long and were inedible. The omelets were okay. Didn't try the breakfast sandwiches. The attendants didn't keep up with the bread items which emptied. While food was plentiful, it was not necessarily what I would have liked. Most of the employees were nice, except the front desk attendant who scolded my husband for touching something on a shelf on the night of 10/20/2023. Aside from Wendy's and a gas station, you need a car if you want food/groceries etc. Would probably stay again because the location was good for us. read more

We recently stayed at this hotel a few days in Livermore. Pleasantly surprised. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing when you walk in, the rooms are clean, they all have kitchens with dishwasher and full refrigerator, and the beds are comfortable. Most of the staff was friendly especially the housecleaners, and breakfast area staff. There's plenty of parking on site. Although we didn't have time to enjoy the fitness center or pool, we did take a look in both areas and they were clean and looked great. I think the breakfast choices were good, but redundant. The breakfast sandwiches had hard bread, but the bowls were good. I think everything was pre-packaged (sandwiches and scrambles) because of Covid,. When we come back to visit family in Livermore, we'll stay here again. read more

Large room for improvement in cleanliness. The cleaning regimen for the bathroom/shower is very insufficient (ants, black mold, soap scum/pink mold). I was surprised by how reluctant Housekeeping was to reclean the shower when I reported the ants. Ants reappeared the next day & they didn't clean (or notice???) the mold. read more

I typically really like Home2 Suites. They've got a great breakfast selection, large rooms, a kitchenette. This one was really interesting. I had a 2 queen room, but I was the only one staying in that room so I would put my clothes I had worn but needed to pack away at some point on the unused bed. The bed got slightly unmade over the weekend, but nothing a quick pull up of the covers couldn't fix. I came back after a housekeeping day to find all of my clothes dumped onto the counter in order for them to make the bed. I also found all my shoes moved up onto the counter. I found all my belongings on a different counter organized, as well as all my skincare on the vanity moved. I travel often for work and have never had housekeeping touch my things and move them so much. Usually, hotel housekeeping don't even make the bed if I leave clothes on it and will leave a note saying as such. The kicker was I brought my own travel sized dish soap and small sponge, and at night when I went to wash my Tupperware, they were nowhere to be found. Did they toss my dish soap bottle? It was still over half full and better quality than the dish soap they provided under the sink. Why after 1.5 weeks of staying here, they removed it from the sink and my room? It feels petty to be that upset over a travel bottle of dish soap, but it's incredibly inconvenient to go to wash your dishes at the end of the night to find it has vanished. read more

My new go to hotel when traveling to this area. Recently returned, originally stayed for the first time in August had such great experience from the time I checked in, until the time I checked out. The manager Elizabeth Kaufman helped me enroll in rewards, and was so attentive! The hotel looks new, and is kept very clean. The rooms are much bigger than the traditional size rooms. First off I want to say the two girls I interacted with were amazing shout out to Kayla and Farah (sorry if I spelled your name wrong). I was stuck in traffic for 3 hours getting to Livermore and once I arrived I knew it was way to early to check in but Kayla checked me in anyways. I was so thankful!!! I needed internet to hop onto to work as soon as possible. She made my entire day by checking me in early with no fuss. I wasn't expecting that, but I am so grateful. Kayla was informative and told me about the amenities the hotel had to offer. What was even better was when she told me this hotel offers a laundry room!!! Wow, what are the chances..my washer at home is actually broken so I had all my laundry for the week in my car. I was going to go to the laundry mat, but this hotel had a laundry room!!! Extra points for that!!! Once I got into the room WOW it was very clean and the layout of the room very well thought out I felt. Why doesn't every hotel include a full size refrigerator and sink?!? Hello?!? They also have a full body mirror and a sitting area!!! The room looked like every other room, but it My stay was amazing!!! I couldn't have chosen a better hotel. A real breakfast was offered every morning along with coffee. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Livermore wether it's short term or long term please consider staying here. Overall nice stay here mainly for 2 reasons: 1. Mini-kitchen area in every room. The larger fridge and kitchen area (you can request an induction stove) allow you to cook if you choose. For a family with food allergies this was a huge bonus. 2. Free breakfast. Think between a continental and made to order breakfast. Self-serve, but they do cook a couple of egg options with and without meat. It's nice to not have to worry about at least one meal during your stay and the 6 - 10 AM hours give the option to take the meal to your room or dine at the tables nearby. My only cons were we were promised a bath over the phone prior to our stay which the kids were disappointed about. Also the gym area can be quite small if others are working out with you (I was by myself). If you're in Livermore this place is worth checking out! read more

I'll just say you get EXTRA for what you pay staying here. We checked in Thursday aug 8, 2019 about 9/10 pm and was greeted by the blonde lady at the front desk, she was super nice. Got our keys right away so it was a quick check in. The room is very big, came with a sofa bed, mini kitchen/fridge/microwave and VERY CLEAN. My only downside was there is no lock (or I couldn't find it) on the barn sliding door for the bathroom. There's free breakfast until 10 am and it was fulfilling. We're talking about diy waffle irons out, microwave premade breakfast sandwiches, bagels, oatmeal etc. and all of it kept stocked and counter clean. This is probably one of the best Hilton stays I've done so far. If ever in the neighborhood I would definitely come back again. read more

This is the 3rd separate full week I've stayed at this property. It's clean, and the breakfast service opens on time. That's the good. Also...good parking. The bad - indifferent, service...they don't seem to understand "friendly, helpful." And the dealbreaker...I haven't been to a hotel in a long time with wifi as bad as this hotel. Forget about Zoom or Teams. They say they're working on it, but that's what they said last time I stayed here several months ago. Don't plan on doing any business here. And when you call the front desk, they tell you "nothing's wrong with our wifi," and then when you persist they give you a link to another network. read more

The rooms are dingy but have a full kitchen. Make sure to ask for a room with an outside window otherwise you won't have fresh air and won't be able to open your curtains. We had children running up and down the halls around 9:30PM (near the front desk). February 1, 2020 Saturday This hotel is super clean and looks newly built. The lobby has a contemporary decor with lots of seatings and the nice touch with built in plugs and USB ports. There are two computers with a printer and the coffee bar in the lobby area also. We got here around 1 pm but she let us check in early. The front desk staff was very nice and accommodating . The first room she assigned us to didn't have a bathtub so we requested one and she gave us an ADA room with a tub. The room is huge !!! There is a big fridge /freezer , stainless steel dish washer , a stainless microwave, dish wares , utensils. No burners though. I like the open shelf design of the kitchen. The bathroom is also huge. Lots of counter space . There's a sitting area with a nice comfortable sofa , coffee table , side tables and a nightstand. Lots of counter space next to the flat screen tv to put your luggage and nice size drawers. The screens open and shut with the touch of a button. I love those automatic screens. The pool is nicely heated , we had it all to ourselves. Very clean and good size. The gym is pretty good size too. I'd definitely stay here again . Highly recommend!! read more

I booked a room here that my company co-workers frequently use for business. Unfortunately, my travel times changed, therefore I had to cancel my stay and was still charged! I informed the manager that my booking was canceled within five minutes when I noticed my travel hours had changed. Room was spotless, all functions in room were in working order, channel selection was abundant, enough towels were available inside room. Bathroom toiletries also very abundant and smells good. Elevator to room navigation is easy with ice machines located within proximity to elevators. Lobby remained spotless even with heavy wedding traffic for the weekend we stayed. Welcome beverage bar was well stocked and very tidy. Receptionist always present, attentive, courteous and respectful. Check in process was headache free. I am still on the fence about this hotel. My family and I stayed here for the weekend over Labor day weekend. We got the King one bedroom suite. When you first walk into the hotel, it is very clean and everything is very well kept. The staff was very friendly and greeted us warmly. When first got into the room we had been traveling for about 9 hours and we just wanted to eat dinner and relax. Nope! Our room was infested with ants! My husband called the front desk and told them about the problem, and they had another room available. I was a little annoyed that they seemed so nonchalant about it, it was almost as if it is an on going thing and they were half expecting us to call about it. We had already started to unpack so I was not so happy when I had to pack everything back up to move down a floor to a different room. The kitchenette area, as well as the bedroom were both a little smaller in this new room than the previous one, but not a big deal. I did like that in the new room when you walked in there was a "closet". There was also one in the bedroom. We had plenty of space to put our stuff, as well as all the kid's stuff too. I wasn't expecting the kitchen area to be fully stocked with plates, glasses, mugs, and utensils, as well as a full sink and dishwasher. That was a pleasant surprise, plus it was all very clean. Switching gears to the breakfast that is provided. The waffles are great! My kids loved that they had mini waffles and Nutela to put on them! There is a nice selection of food, and juices. The coffee was good and had a good selection of creamers. This was a major plus in my book! Haha! The lady that was in charge of the area kept it very clean, and very well stocked. We were there over the weekend and went down at different times each morning and there was always a nice selection, even though there were quite a few people. We didn't have to wait too long for the waffle irons, and everything flowed nicely. I tried the egg scramble bowl one morning, and I grabbed one that had a little spicy kick to it. My hubby traded with me and his was different and was good... not spicy! Another morning I tried an egg sandwich, and it was ok. The English Muffin was a little hard, but the rest of the sandwich had good flavor. All in all, we were happy with the breakfast. Since it was Labor day weekend, it was hot so we utilized the pool each day! It's not a huge pool, but it has ample seating in the means of lounge chairs, tables, and regular chairs and was fully stocked with towels every time we went. There are Barbeques in this area that you are able to use, and they have utensils to barbeque with at the front desk. The bathroom in the pool area was clean, and dry... another plus! Ok, while on the topic of bathrooms, back to the one in our room... The bathroom had a little grime around the toilet, and in the shower. I thought it was odd that there was a sliding door to the bathroom that led to the living area and did not lock, but I guess that didn't matter because ours kept getting stuck so someone would have to open it for you after you were done in there. I personally didn't care for this because I never felt like I had complete privacy. The room was clean and had a nice smell. The bed was comfortable and the blankets felt like they were weighted, so I slept very well. There were a few ants here and there in this room (and we also spotted some in the common area downstairs when we were eating one morning). This hotel has a major ant problem and it is very off putting. I got a rental car for this trip and it was a brand new car and very clean, so I didn't allow any food or beverages in there other than water since it wasn't ours. So when I got in to leave to make the drive home (it was parked all weekend since we had our SUV to use) I was appalled that it was INFESTED with ants!! I checked the whole car and there was no food, wrappers, beverages, or anything of the sorts in there that would have attracted them. When I got out to look around the car in the parking lot there were ants everywhere. I looked at a few cars that were parked close by and they also had ants crawling all over the outside of them. I thought I got rid of them all before we started our journey, but it was so bad I actually had to pull over because my poor toddler had them crawling allover her! Honestly I was so grossed out and angry that I even had to deal with this, it will probably keep us from staying here again. I am disappointed because my husband works in this area so we travel up north to visit him quite often, and I thought we had found a place that we would be comfortable staying. Guess not. read more

Great value. This room was the same price as a Hampton inn or a Hilton garden suites. The home 2 suites aims to make you feel at home. it was like a very nice chic studio apartment with a kitchen, normal refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, silverware and they have an option for a grill with pans. the gym has most necessities including dumbbells which weighed from 10 pounds up to 50 pounds, a nice cable machine, three treadmills, one elliptical machine, one recumbent bike and area to do yoga/stretching. There is one bench. Also a nice feature is a laundry room what you pay approximately two dollars for washing two dollars for drying. There is a basic lap swimming pool with a few chairs on the outside. Also of note is a handicap accessible chair to lift you into the pool if needed. first in the mornings which for a free hotel breakfast was above-average. This included a waffle making machine, some hot breakfast with a frozen bagel sandwich that could be used in the accompanied microwave. The best part of the frozen breakfast was a frittata which was surprisingly tasty which had cheese and peppers in it. There are individually wrapped hard-boiled eggs , yogurt and hot cereal if desired. All this is a comfortable and affordable hotel with above-average amenities especially for the price. read more

Objectively, I was genuinely impressed with this place from the get-go. Overall, it has a fresh, modern vibe, and it's clear that the staff keep it in great shape. My room was super clean - a real breath of fresh air. The bathroom, beddings, and carpet were all noticeably clean. It was a comfortable, welcoming space. Something worth noting, without getting into too much detail, is that during my stay, a significant communication issue occurred with a staff member regarding my pet, which prompted me to leave the hotel 3 days early and had me needing to relocate. This issue was quite significant and knocks my rating down to 2/5 at best. However, looking to provide candid feedback on the situation, as I would love to stay at this place again, given that I visit the area relatively often, I spoke with the manager, Elizabeth, and we came to a mutual understanding and resolution on the issue. As a guest, I felt like I was properly being taken care of now and would be in the foreseeable future, as well, which restores my rating to a 5/5. We loved our stay here. We only stayed for 1 night, but would have stayed for more if we weren't on a strict schedule. First, it's very clean. Covid precautions are taken very seriously here and everything is thoroughly sanitized. Even the TV remote was sanitized! Many hotels forget that. They have little stickers on the room doors that show which ones have been sanitized. After they've been sanitized, no one is allowed in the room until the guest checks in. Our room was fairly spacious. It included a fridge, microwave, and even a dishwasher with dishes we could use. The beds were comfortable, maybe one of the better nights of sleep we had on our whole cross-country road trip. Many hotels all over the country have either stopped serving breakfast due to Covid or they've significantly reduced what's offered at breakfast. Here, they manage to still serve a decent breakfast without sacrificing safety. They require guests who come to breakfast not just wear a mask, but also gloves to minimize any potential contact. They also have someone there to serve you certain items, such as waffles, to minimize how many people touch the equipment. Very nice, clean, comfortable place with friendly staff. We also loved the Livermore area in general, which was unexpected... Not that we expected to dislike it, but more like we expected it to be just a basic pit stop to sleep and leave. I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place yet. Well this is my second home away from home when traveling up in this area. The staff is always friendly and my favorite person to see at breakfast is Rosie. She always has a smile and good work ethics. She helps my elderly parents in getting things and cleaning up. She keeps her station very clean. I'm still happy see this facility having free breakfast items during these times. Everything is wrapped up so no contamination. If you want hot waffles, Rosie will make them for you. As for the room, CLEAN and spacious. I love the kitchen setup with a full frig, microwave, sink, dishwasher and a bit of everything thing for the kitchen use. Came in handy when Costco is right next door. By far the most comfortable, well-designed, and thoughtfully organized hotel room I've ever stayed in. For someone who travels dozens of weeks a year, that's saying something! The bed was heaven to sleep in, and the entire space (from the mini-seating area to the kitchenette to the bathroom) was incredibly well thought through! Guest services--from check-in to check-up and check-out--was more personable and genuinely friendly; the team at this hotel has mastered the art of caring about their customers so well they feel as if they are somewhere familiarly comfortable, and yet somehow are not intrusive. Complimentary breakfast was also pretty filling and mindful of healthy options (see attached photo for proof if you doubt me). Has a great gym and pool area, spacious lobby. Hotel is a few miles from the vineyards and town of Livermore! Perfect location for those who like to go wine-tasting and explore quaint downtowns. Cons - I had a terrible experience at check-in. An employee at the front desk told me that there is a $75 fee for service dogs. I told her that it is illegal for a business under American Disabilities Act (ADA) to charge a customer to stay at a hotel with a licensed service dog and they are not treated the same way as pets. She proceeded to tell us that "they are the same, they both create dander and the hotel needs to clean the rooms and sheets inside out". I was shocked and in disbelief. Another employee called her manager to check and the manager confirmed that the hotel should not charge a fee for service dogs. The employee who told us wrong information did not even apologize for her mistake. We felt very offended. I don't understand how someone in the hospitality industry could not have this basic training and understanding of a customer traveling with a service dog vs. charging a pet fee. This hotel literally had ants coming out of the wall outlet near the beds. The floor upstairs was making noise as if cattle was running. We asked for another 2 bedroom and they couldn't accommodate us because they said they didn't have anyone 2 bedrooms. They only had one king size bed. They couldn't even give us Raid. Hotel opened May 17th. Clean, modern, and spacious. Includes free parking, wifi, and breakfast. There's a fitness room, pool, and lounge area. Checked in after driving over 6 hours received a room that had not been serviced. Returned to the front desk. Reassigned to a room on another floor even further from the elevator. Good place for the value and considering its location. My family wanted to celebrate my niece's bday by going "away" for abit so we stayed here. This hotel is still pretty new which you can tell from the outside. Modern, minimalistic design or decor. Right next to the open space front desk is the dining area where they serve their free breakfast. Around the corner is the coffee area... I think they serve coffee during the whole day. Rooms were good size. small kitchen area, chair/coffee table area with TV, bathroom is decent. Pool area is pretty small. Water is saline not chlorine. shaded during late afternoon, a few lounge chairs. Large parking area... they're located right next to Costco and pretty close to the freeway. read more
