Uhhh Hilton? Hampton inn? More like a warmed over 30 yr old inn. Bathrooms are ridiculously small. They tried to up date the rooms with old style second hand furnishings it didn't work. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are cramped ROAD NOISE MOTORCYCLES BOOM BOXES ARE loud! The view is of a Super 8 motel and roller coaster from 6 flags If you want close to 6 Flags this is for you. Business travelers/ corporate wanting peace and quiet Do yourself a favor and pass this Hampton inn up. Hampton Inn Kankakee is beautiful spacious clean the complete polar opposite of this Gurnee Property. I would be ashamed to have this Property with the Hampton Inn name attached

Hot breakfast every morning-and the food is good!

This was a very nice hotel with an excellent location. I loved that it was close enough to get to the mall, lots of great food places, and grocery stores-but not to close to any major highways where you cannot get any rest. The place seemed to be full-but was run efficiently and I personally loved that I could be in my room and not hear what's happening in the hallway or next door. Breakfast was decent-every morning their were new food items to try. I would definitely recommend staying here if looking for a comfortable, relaxing place to stay!

This is a solid 2 to 3 star hotel…read more The building is dated, but has been renovated. There are foundational things that just can't be changed, but overall we found the hallways and the common areas to be kind of drag. The rooms we stayed in (we had two for our group) were clean, everything working properly and updated but not in a modern way. We stayed two nights and while the halls are pretty loud when people are talking or running thru, it was quiet and I got a good nights sleep. There is a fridge, microwave, small coffee maker in the room. TV worked great. Internet free WiFi was okay. One area that could make it better would be a bit of a step up on the free breakfast - it was busy in there and there are so many chairs and tables but they are large, heavy and awkward. The other area to improve would be the food itself - not much was offered (we were there a Friday and Saturday morning) and it could easily hold some more options such as more items to toast, hard boiled eggs, other grab/go options like yogurts, etc. Coffee station was stocked and decent. Key to this hotel is location - right off 94, next to Gurnee Mills and a quick walk/drive to many places to eat and shop. I likely wouldn't pick this again but we had a last minute trip and this worked for us.

I had to make 2 reservations as one night I was using points and the other I was paying for. Everyone was very helpful in general when I had questions. They do not have a fitness room (which is probably good as every one that I went into at a hotel was stinky so I walked out) but they would give me a pass to a fitness center not far away. They also offered to keep my cooler packs in their freezer until we were leaving. The room was very clean, the breakfast was a regular hotel breakfast except the pancakes. I will recommend the pancakes. I love that machine, fresh pancakes with no mess or fuss. They would have gotten a 5 stars if the room would have had a larger refrigerator (we had a small square fridge), if the fridge had a freezer, and the mattress would not have slid on the metal platform every time I got onto the bed. I am 5 foot and the bed was a bit tall for me, I could not just sit down on it. If you hit the mattress with your knee walking by the mattress moved. I suggested to them to put a rug gripper under the mattress. My sister had a firmer bed, mine was softer and I wish I would have taken the firmer mattress. The pillows were not for me, but I like a firmer pillow.

Hardwood floors (thank you, no mystery carpet stains), a pullout sofa for dramatic lounging, and beds so comfy they could qualify as emotional support furniture. There's an indoor pool and fitness center, which we nobly ignored bc waffles took priority. And speaking of waffles... breakfast was an AYCE carb carnival: cheese omelets, sausage patties, country potatoes, and DIY waffles that could make you question why you don'town a waffle maker at home (definitely getting one). Add in the cereal, yogurt, fruit, and juice fountain, and you've basically got a brunch buffet w no judgment!! Bonus points for the lobby hydration station: iced water and coffee/tea on tap like a fancy gas station. After every outing, that cold water hit harder than therapy. Six Flags is half a mile away, it's so close you could just walk there!! The staff were chill, friendly, and clearly used to herding families in town for boot camp graduations. Breakfast buffet was good!! Cheesy eggs, potatoes, bacon ,sausage, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, waffles, juices, milk, coffee.... Great fuel before heading to the airport!! Minor gripe: *The the shampoo/body wash bottles were so tiny you'd think they were made for Barbie's dream hotel. We ended up buying bigger, realistic human sized bottles. *Towels were thin and smaller than avg size . Overall, an older but solid stay... cozy, caffeinated, and just the right mix of comfy sleep and healthy hydration.

Once the kiddos were down the adults had the pleasure of hanging out at Twyla's the in house bar. Which is where we met his amazing Bartender (Steph), (Chris) the server and (Jorge) the bar back. All of them were great as well as the drinks. We even felt a little chilly in the pool area and the housekeeping guy (Oscar) turned up the pool temp and the area. My family is already looking forward to returning once the renovations are done. Can't wait to see the upgrades. Mr. Khayat also bought my son a few pizzas and chicken from his restaurant (Fatmans) which my Autistic son loved so much we had to stop there and get a few before we went back home to Milwaukee. Definitely a 10/10 Thus place is definitely worth trying out. Oh yeah and Kala at the front desk rocks. We WILL BE BACK

Stayed one night so didn't have much time to use the outside the room facilities, but the room itself was exactly what we needed. There is plenty of parking all around the facility (it is quite large in terms of area, not so much in terms of floors). Each of the entrances are controlled by key card, and it makes sense to move your car to the entrance/exit closest to your room, once you check in. The bathroom had one sink with plenty of counterspace, tub/shower combo. They do expect more than 2 people staying in the suite, so provided 4 towels. Water pressure was barely adequate and temperature was good, but easy to control. Dove products (soaps, lotions) were provided, which I hadn't realized was a thing. The temperature was a bit harder to control. Each room had its own floor climate control unit that could be used to turn on/off, but there was also a wall thermostat that seemed to be on. We just used the floor unit and the rooms got quite cooler, even with the hot outside temperature. Everything was worn, and could use a facelift...but the location is really good, and the charged price is commiserate with the value given. It wasn't very crowded (probably because of the newer hotels closer to the Mills)...so probably a good choice if needing a quick place to turn down without much notice.

Thanks Sabrina Nicole four showing great leadership in your Inn. It shows through the staff. Keep up the good work.

Every single time we walked by every one of them was on their phones and not interested at all in helping us. The pool and hot tub area is run down as well and during the day is ungodly HOT in the terrarium! The room was disgustingly dirty with food crumbs along every corner and something brown smeared on the closet and bathroom door. WE WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.
