My husband ended up scrubbing the tub, but the strong smell of the Ecolab Lemon Lift cleaner caused my chest to start hurting, and I was left feeling very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, when I tried calling the front desk several times, the calls were answered by kitchen staff member Adisa, who repeatedly told me I had the wrong number. Later, someone named Izzy from maintenance/garbage disposal answered and said the same thing. When I went downstairs, they didn't realize I was the person who had been calling, and they were laughing and making fun of the situation. That level of unprofessionalism was shocking and completely unacceptable. The only positive part of my experience was the front desk associate. She was clearly overwhelmed but remained kind, respectful, and genuinely tried to help despite the circumstances. I am extremely disappointed by how this situation was handled. No guest should be expected to clean mold in their own hotel room, and no one should be mocked after asking for assistance. I hope management takes this review seriously, addresses the cleanliness issues, and provides additional customer service training to the staff. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I've had here, and I hope no other guest has to go through the same thing.

The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and cordial when checking us in and explained all the responsibilities of having a pet. I believe it was because I had a pet that he put us on the first floor where the rooms all had some sort of tile flooring, but it was a bit slippery because it was wet from the rain. I didn't really like that but I couldn't understand. When I came across the hotel I thought it was cute because of all the colors. And in reading the reviews remember that it was fairly new so I thought I'd give it a try even though it did not have an EV charger, which I will not forgo on my next hotel stay. At first the room was very humid, but I just had to turn the air up to get rid of the humidity. The bad was fairly comfortable and most importantly the water pressure was perfect and the water was hot! I did not like the fact that I didn't have a microwave in my room, but at least I was on the first floor where the microwave was located. The gym looked decent. I have planned to get some steps in on the treadmill but but again I didn't expect to get in so late. The free breakfast goes through some sort of rotation. There's a menu at the front desk that tells you what will be available the next day. It was decent. I had eggs, potatoes and like a bacon crumble. It was enough to fill my stomach and get me on my way. If you just need a place to lay your head for the night and don't want to spend a lot of money, this is the place.

I had a yogurt with raisins and walnuts. A cup of apple juice and a coffee. The selection was okay, turkey sausages, folded eggs, cereal, fruit, muffins, toast and oatmeal. I did see a waffle maker. Unacceptable Safety Breach & Shocking Management Failures…read more I returned to my room at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 15th to find housekeeping had left my door propped wide open to the public. I immediately went to the front desk where two receptionists were working. One receptionist located an available, clean room and actively began processing my safety transfer, while the other receptionist stepped away to call General Manager Faith Allen, who was off-property. Faith Allen explicitly ordered the staff to halt the transfer and withhold the clean room to prioritize guests who hadn't even checked in yet, forcing me out into the night for my own safety. When I noticed they wrongfully billed me for an extra night, I called Faith Allen on Thursday. Instead of showing accountability, she was aggressive and dismissive. She told me I checked out after 4:00 PM, ordered me to "live with it," and insisted I would absolutely be charged--completely ignoring that her own staff's severe safety breach forced my emergency departure. Her total lack of integrity and hostile attitude are a disgrace to the Hilton brand. When I tried to escalate her actions, I discovered the ownership group, Fidelity Management Group, has completely disconnected phone lines and ignores all emails. They are running a reckless franchise with zero local oversight. Ultimately, the Hilton Corporate Executive Office had to step in, override this local property, force a full night's refund, and issue major compensation for these severe violations. Avoid this location. Faith Allen is a liability, and Fidelity Management Group is completely asleep at the wheel.

The eggs were super tough to peel, but they had mayo, mustard, salt, and pepper, so I made an egg salad sandwich. They also had Nutella, which was a nice little treat. Honestly, it was so quiet during our stay, but I will say the rooms aren't very soundproof--less than a Marriott or Westin, so you can hear quite a bit. That's why I'd probably avoid this place if it's really busy. The gym was sufficient for a solid workout, and they even provided bottled water, which was a nice touch. My air conditioner worked well and quietly. I also appreciated a full door on my shower. They include breakfast and I was able to have some over medium eggs. The hotel is pet friendly for a fee and they have on-site parking. Its 15 minutes from the historic district, however, its a big savings over hotels there and the parking overnight fees. We would stay here again.

The bathroom caught me off guard, as typically there is a shower tub combo on the internal wall to your room, however this room had a shower on the wall against the hall. I think this is wonderful as it helps any sleeping guests in your room hear less noise when someone is showering. We had a great night sleep, both nights. My wife worked from the room two days and had no issues with internet. She did say the wall the desk was against and where the adjoining door is for the large suite next door was, was a little loud. It didn't casue an issue for us, but worth noting. Breakfast was nice, they make fresh omlettes for your, the pancakes are made fresh and not frozen, and there is a variety of other items available. I had an Amazon package delivered here, and that happened with no issues. We enjoyed the staff, the room, and the breakfast. We would stay here again.

Our shuttle driver Damon was sooooo friendly and helpful!! This hotel does not have a pool for those like myself who enjoy swimming. They do offer breakfast and have the Twin Spades bar available for drinks and foods particularly breakfast. In the lobby, they have a decent market for any last minute toiletries, food, and even gift needs. Overall, I would stay here again, it was very nice :)

I made and prepaid a two-night reservation several days in advance through Hotels.com. After driving roughly six hours from Florida to attend a concert, we arrived expecting a normal check-in. Instead, we were told the hotel was oversold and we were being relocated to a Best Western. While the room at the Best Western was complimentary, it was nowhere near comparable to what we had booked. The lobby was dark and had a strong unpleasant odor. The elevator was dirty, the room was right next to the elevator with a white noise machine provided to mask the sound. It was a significant downgrade from the Hilton property we selected and paid for. The expectation was that we unpack for one night, repack in the morning, check out by eleven, spend hours without a room, and then return after 3pm to check back into The Bluff. That is an unreasonable inconvenience for any guest. While the room at the Best Western was complimentary, it was nowhere near comparable to what we had booked. I would think that quiet hours for the pool would be 9 PM, but apparently they aren't. I believe they are 10 PM. There was a group of what appeared to be teenagers screaming nonstop for about three hours straight. I don't know, if I was staff at a hotel, I would probably tell them to keep it down after 8 PM, but that's just me. It sounds like the rooms on the other side of the hotel are really noisy as well, so I guess moving and wouldn't have done much. The valet took a really long time in the morning. I wouldn't have minded that if they would have told us in the beginning, but when you check in, they tell you to give them five minutes to retrieve your vehicle. It took the guy 20 minutes to respond to my request (I was first in the queue) and I had to go walk down and grab the car myself because I needed to leave immediately. It sounds like he was managing two properties, so not his fault. When not knowing where the valet was, the front desk wasn't helpful. She kind of dismissed the issue. She did end up calling him, but she didn't act like she cared about our situation at all in the beginning. It actually prompted us to take action and another gentleman waiting for his car went and looked in the valet garage to see if somebody was even there because he was having the same issues. Anyways, my first and last time staying at this hotel. Too many other options in the area. I really need a reliable valet, unfortunately.

After staying here, it's clear nothing has actually changed, which is disappointing. I was on the 5th floor facing Bay Street, which turns out to be a major truck route near the interstate. The AC unit was loud, so I turned it off since it was cool outside. That's when the real issue became obvious. There's a traffic light right by the hotel, so trucks constantly stop, idle, and then accelerate again. The noise was incredibly loud, to the point where it felt like I was standing right on the sidewalk. Sleeping was difficult. It also made me wonder about room assignments. If this has been a known issue for years, you'd think they'd avoid placing guests with status in those rooms. A quieter-facing room would have made a big difference. There were a few other issues: * Couldn't access the pool or jacuzzi with the digital key (only the gym worked) * The jacuzzi itself looked worn and in need of refinishing * No complimentary water in the room or lobby, which is surprising given the Savannah heat (though there were cookies and coffee downstairs) * Toilet seat was oddly shaped and uncomfortable * Bedside lamp outlets were loose and didn't hold a charger securely * The clock on the nightstand was extremely bright at night with no way to dim it On the positive side, the lobby has a nice fireplace, and I appreciated the bathroom nightlight. All the staff I encountered seemed very young, under 30, which made me wonder if most roles here are entry-level. I couldn't help but notice a consistent pattern in who was working which positions, while visiting the south. Overall, the biggest issue is the noise and the lack of real action on something that's been raised repeatedly over the years.
