Absolutely Disgusting Experience Getting ready for bed revealed hairs all over the pillows and bed--completely unacceptable and revolting! My wife had already been in the bed for 30 minutes before we noticed, which made it even worse. There were no other rooms available, so we had no choice but to check out and drive home late at night. While I was offered half off, that does nothing to make up for the gross negligence in cleanliness. When I complained to Hilton the next day, their 'solution' was to extend the expiration date of my points--an insultingly inadequate response. Hello, Bonvoy Marriott--Hilton just lost a 30 year loyal customer.

Rooms are HUGE! Bathroom had whirl pool, little dry bar with table and living room with fireplace. Breakfast was good, but packed! So go right in the beginning or at the end. But what you expect from Hilton breakfast, not fancy, but checks a box. Staff is a little not friendly, but not a deal breaker.

Scored a river view balcony room! Really nice and relaxing. Great location to everything Helen and nice home base for wine tasting.

We like to give our business to the mom and pop businesses in an area but not seeing that any of the B&B's served a German style breakfast in their reviews, we decided to go with a Corp. business due to the location. Great walking distance to businesses while being a bit secluded. The staff was friendly, especially the lady responsible for the breakfast. She was attentive and friendly. The room was clean, looked like the bathroom had been remodeled within the last few years. Bed was comfortable and we were in a quiet area of the hotel away from the elevator, which was my only request!

We have stayed here twice during our visits to Helen. During this last trip, we came to stay after our elopement. We were upgraded to a River front room and the staff left us a sweet display. The location of the hotel is great, you can walk to everything. We love the River area with the fire pit and swings. Parking is covered which came in handy when it was raining. We look forward to our next stay and appreciate the kindness of the staff. They don't have daily housekeeping, but will provide you with extra towels and anything else you need.

This is absolutely the cutest hotel I have stayed in. I am so very happy. Friendly front desk clerk. Clean room, excellent wireless internet. Everything was perfect. 1st floor is covered parking and you take the elevator to the lobby. I got a 2 queen bed room. Price was on point. Breakfast left some to be desired. Hotel is not on the main street. Everything does seem to close early at least during the week. I appreciated the cold bottles of water from the front desk clerk that were complimentary. The freshly baked cookies were also wonderful. I am so glad I stayed here and would recommend to anyone!

I usually enjoy the Hilton chain hotels. I enjoy Hampton Inns. The check in associate was friendly and helpful. I definitely have no problems with the staff. Our room itself was a little less than what I expected and hoped for In Helen. First, there were sugar ants in our room on side tables next to the bed, not sure where they were coming from. My husband noticed there was mold from possibly a leak in the room in the hallway between the living area and bathroom. I feel like the mold is something that the staff would definitely notice. It was by no means a tiny spot. I guess I should have brought my own pillows as well. They had no firmness and shaping them didn't help. The continental breakfast was decent. It was fresh and had a good amount of choices for everyone.

Stayed in many Hampton Inns This is unique as you park ground floor under hotel and take a elevator to the second (1st) Floor. No problem other than an extremely slow elevator.. The afternoon manager was an amazing helpful individual, knew I was a gold member, offered us our water and actually upgraded our room without me asking (mid week very slow season).. She advised us what was open in town and what was closed. She referred us to a couple Restaurants for dinner, which we did choose one and we where completely satisfied with... The room was excellent, large New Flat Screen LG TV, two very comfortable beds with several pillows, the river view made the day The afternoon hot cookies where Great Need a hotel in Helen, I suggest you try this one, you won't be disappointed

    Disgusting behind the tv.

We reached the hotel around 10pm. Noticed that almost all stores and restaurants close early in Helen. But the check in staff was very helpful. She gave us an area map and list of things we could do. Also suggested a pizza place...which was the only place open at that time and would deliver. Our room was neat and clean. The hotel had complimentary breakfast "covid style". Meaning, you pick the items that you want from what they have available. They had quite a few selections. Cereal, juice, fruit, yogurt, nutri bar and cinnamon rolls. In hot breakfast they did not have anything vegetarian. They did have plain biscuits though. You tell the staff (who is wearing mask and gloves) what you want and she makes a tray for you. You can either eat in the dining area or take it to your room. The hotel seemed to follow the CDC guidelines for Covid. They do not enter your room for cleaning everyday (how it used to be before covid). If you need anything you just call the front desk and they bring it to you. Plus every day when we came back to the hotel in the evening...they left a care package with a towel, napkin, soap, toilet paper, etc. We didnt really had to ask for anything. The staff was helpful. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Always helpful, friendly and happy to see us. As someone who has been to many hotels with a group, I can honestly say this one is the best for us. They even remember us from the year before and welcome any of our new people! Can't beat that. Can't recommend this high enough if you are looking to book for group. We paid $40 for a "cheese plate" that consisted of American cheese and a bottle of Welch's sparkling grape juice, which felt incredibly overpriced. The pool area wasn't well maintained, and our room had cleanliness issues, including a dirty bathroom sink. Dinner was also underwhelming. While the bread and main course were delicious, the appetizers were disappointing and the overall dining experience didn't justify the cost. We were also told one thing about room service charges, only to find an automatic 30% service charge added. Overall, the resort feels outdated and not well maintained. Despite charging luxury resort prices, it reminded us more of a budget hotel--except even a La Quinta typically includes breakfast. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend staying here.

My husband had scheduled a massage as a gift for that afternoon. This was probably the worst experience I have had. The therapist was poor in her execution, style and even manner. Before my treatment even started she mentioned an up charge for deep tissue. During my treatment she burped two times and her massage was far from relaxing her massage etiquette as a therapist was poor and as it was my birthday it sort of ruined my whole experience there, which was a shame. I did reach out to the B&B and provided my feedback, was told the spa manager (Tanya) would reach out but she never did. Heard back from the B&B manager and she told me the owner would give me a $50 dollar credit to my treatment the next time! We live almost two hours away so will not be planning on using that any time soon. To be honest after that experience I would not go back to the spa. The b&b was lovely the massage experience not so.

Title: A Blissful Retreat at Lucille's Mountain Top Inn and Spa…read more Rating: (5/5) My partner and I recently enjoyed a two-day stay at Lucille's Mountain Top Inn and Spa, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the impeccable service and breathtaking surroundings left us utterly enchanted. Firstly, I must commend Alex, the multi-talented front desk manager and concierge. Her warm welcome and exceptional hospitality set the tone for our entire stay. Alex not only ensured a smooth check-in but also provided us with valuable information about the resort and nearby attractions. Her dedication to making our stay memorable was truly impressive. Our mornings were filled with culinary delights thanks to the talented chefs, Michael and Linda. There are always 2 courses, and they typically feature some local produce and meats. Michael's breakfast creations on day one were a delightful surprise, with flavors that danced on our taste buds, especially the sausage! Linda, the breakfast chef on day two, continued the culinary excellence with a delectable breakfast that left us craving for more. The eggs with asparagus were amazing and I am super picky about my eggs. Rebecca, the waitress, deserves a special mention for her attentive and friendly service during our meals. She made dining a pleasure, always ready with a smile and quick to accommodate any request. Carla, the kitchen helper, and Cassidy, another member of the front desk and concierge team, contributed to the overall smooth operation of the inn. Their dedication behind the scenes did not go unnoticed, and it's evident that the entire staff at Lucille's is a well-oiled machine. Desserts are also served in the evening and the guests serve themselves and typically joined in the common areas, reading, chatting or playing one of the several board games available. It was delightful way to unwind. The highlight of our stay was the couples massage at the spa, a truly rejuvenating experience. The spa staff exhibited professionalism and skill, creating a tranquil atmosphere that allowed us to unwind and connect on a deeper level. Lucille's Mountain Top Inn and Spa is a place where luxury meets nature, and where every staff member goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The stunning mountain views, the impeccable service, and the attention to detail make this an oasis of relaxation and romance. We can't wait to return to this hidden gem in the mountains. Thank you, Lucille's, for making our stay unforgettable.
