1st floor, 2 queens, spider on ceiling which was released outside unharmed. I'm sure it was as confused as we were about how it got itself in this predicament. Staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Free shuttle was on demand (as opposed to on the hour) and even dropped me off across the street from the airport at my special request, albeit I was the only one on the shuttle. Bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. It helped that we were quite tired at midnight flying in from midnight. Walls are a tad thin, but nothing noise canceling headphones couldn't take care. Bathroom was small but more then what we needed for a quite overnight before heading to Sitka, Alaska. Breakfast was good. Small egg omelette with cheese, sausage patties, and pan roasted potatoes for me. Coffee was ok, reduce by the fact that they only had pump vanilla or hazelnut, and I'm not a fan. However, if you go to the waffle station, there is decent whipped cream, a better choice. For price point, this was an excellent choice. read more

Shuttle shows up @ 7:45 and leaves 10 min later. So plan your travels to SEA accordingly and allow for extra time. - Walls and doors are paper thin. Hallway noise and airport noise is off the charts. - No work area, with round table and lounge chairs, making any actual work hard to do. - Shower is a bit small and narrow, but still better than any TRU property. - Status goodie bag? - Nope. Worst Hampton Stay I've Ever Experienced I checked into the Hampton Inn Seattle Airport hotel at approximately 5:30 p.m. and was extremely disappointed with my entire stay. The hotel had no working internet service and no functioning television service during my stay. The TV displayed nothing but static and was completely unusable. I later learned that hotel staff had apparently been aware of these issues for at least 24 hours before my arrival, yet there was no notice posted, no communication before arrival, and no warning provided at check-in. Had I been informed of these major service outages, I would have chosen another hotel. Throughout the evening, multiple guests approached the front desk with concerns about the internet and television outages. The response from staff was dismissive and uncaring. The attitude seemed to be, "What do you want me to do? There's nothing we can do." While I understand that front desk employees may not be responsible for the outage itself, they should still be trained to communicate professionally and show concern for guests who are paying customers. I also specifically needed a room with a bathtub for medical reasons. I was moved between rooms before finally receiving a room with a bathtub, only to discover there was no bathtub stopper. When I asked for assistance, I was simply told there was nothing they could do. The fourth floor had an unpleasant odor that made the hallway feel unclean, and the overall condition of the property felt neglected. Combined with the lack of communication, lack of working amenities, and lack of customer service, this created one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I have ever had. The most disappointing part was not the outage itself--it was the complete lack of concern shown toward guests. There appeared to be no effort from management to proactively communicate, offer solutions, or make things right. I wanted to check out but they told me I'd be charged for the hotel stay regardless. I travel frequently and stay in hotels throughout the country. This was one of the worst stays I've ever had ANYWHERE! The only reason that it gets a second star is because the front desk agent got us into a room HOURS early. We came straight from a cruise ship. That was the single, solitary, good thing to happen on our stay. The rest?? HOLY HELL!!! We got into our room and it was a sauna, no problem right??? Just go over and turn the AC on!!! Yeah, about that! It wasn't working. We thought it would kick on eventually and crashed for a few hours....just to wake up covered in sweat after a few hours. My recent stay at this Hampton Inn left much to be desired. The problems started before I even arrived on the property. First, their airport shuttle was an absolute nightmare. After waiting 58 minutes (yes, we timed it), calling three times (with promises that "it's on its way!), and never seeing it show up, I had to Uber to the hotel. It was a pain in the butt. Adding insult to injury, when we got to the hotel, the shuttle was just parked outside the entrance with no one to drive it. Literally sitting in the hotel parking lot! Other guests were grumbling as they checked in, so it wasn't just my experience. The hotel clearly has no intention of running the shuttle service they promise, and they should not advertise having an airport shuttle. Problem two was with the staff, who seemed more interested in slacking off than providing service. Their apathetic attitude made me feel like I was interrupting a group of stoners at a hangout rather than being welcomed as a guest. Despite being a Hilton Diamond member, there were no benefits to speak of (no room upgrades, no bottled water, no "thank you for being a Diamond member" greeting at the front desk, nothing). It was disappointing right from the start. Location-wise, the hotel is close to the airport and a light rail, but that comes at a cost: constant noise throughout the night. If you're looking for a quiet place to rest, this is not it. The interior of the hotel is dated, and while the room itself had been updated, it still felt run-down and uninviting. Something about it just seemed "off," like it was halfway to being modern but missed the mark. The lack of basic amenities was another issue. No water in the lobby, just lukewarm coffee and tea. The Wi-Fi was spotty at best, making it impossible to get any work done. And forget about grabbing food because there's nothing nearby and it's not walkable to any restaurants, so unless you want to Uber everywhere (which is crazy pricey in Seattle), you're stuck. There are some mediocre places that deliver at least. Unless you like $30 Uber rides from the airport, terrible service, and an overall uninspired experience, I can't recommend staying here. I am typing this when I should be sleeping. Why am I awake? Because a dog has been barking for over an hour and 30 mins... I have an early flight and I am getting no sleep. While not the hotel's fault (I do blame the owners who are traveling with a dog that clearly is in distress) the hotel is also not doing anything about it. They just tell me they will call the owner because the owner isn't even here they left the dog in the room ... okay well that isn't working. The dog is still barking. They offered to move my room... no I am in bed. They should make them move! I see some reviewers saying the rooms don't have closets! I thought the same thing and was irritated because I was here for a wedding had to drag my dress over the chair. They should tell you where the closet is. I thought it was the. We were in a group booked by AAATravel. All others in our group got the rate we were quoted. We did not and didn't realize it until after we had given our CC. We brought this to the attention of the manager and she argued that wasn't her problem it was mine. If that wasn't bad enough at breakfast a man was eating a bowl of fruit at a table. A staff members went up to him , told him he had a lot and could he PUT SOME BACK! And HE DID !!! Omg. She helped! Food already on someone's plate was put back for others!! The toilet paper holder in our room did not work and the door didn't stay shut. It's so sad to see reviews from people who didn't have a good experience with Hampton Inn Seattle Airport. I know this is by the airport, but we honestly didn't have problems with loud noise considering the fact that there was a plane going in and out every 5 minutes. -I would totally give this place a 5-star because even though they accept pets, the hotel isn't very pet-friendly. There are no pet relief areas around so we had to always walk across the street to the grass area. AND, we were placed on the highest floor possible which was such an inconvenience for our dog. - Other than that, unlike most people, we fortunately did not have bed bugs. I also did my wipe-down test with disinfecting wipes and all the surface areas were clean. -For those who said their room didn't have a closet, IT DOES have one. It's the full-body mirror that also serves as a door to the closet. I found this pretty cool and space-saving! -The bathroom was clean also and the shower had good pressure. -The breakfast was surprisingly good. They had different choices each day. Hot and cold food was provided. -Love that they have tea and coffee (along with hot chocolate) available 24/7. -Their laundry room is only on the 4th floor which wasn't too bad since we were on the 5th. QUARTERS only. They won't accept cards, so I had to go downstairs to get change. -They were sooo accommodating during renovations -The people at the front desk are amazing, especially Bri! She deserves a raise! (I think that's her name. Young lady with curly hair.) Highly satisfied with our stay here. If they put a pet relief area, definitely would be a 5 star! Lobby area was worn and dirty. Elevator did not work, several members of our group did not get the rate quoted. Witnessed a gentleman being told he took too much fruit from the breakfast bar... he was told to put some back and was assisted by the person running the breakfast. Good find and reasonable pricing at this Hampton Inn on International Blvd. We had no problem when we stayed there. Room was super clean and comfortable. Front desk was cordial and helpful. I could tell they put the customer first.. They were friendly and provided us with many bottles of water which we needed from our long flight. I was saddened to learn of all the negative reviews of this friendly hotel. We only waited for 10 min for the van and driver Solomon also took us to 13 Coins for our dinner. We will stay here again. For the price we paid, I think this hotel was great value. It is conveniently 8 minutes away via walking from Angle Lake station, which is directly connected to SeaTac airport. Also, it is directly across from the entrance to Angle Lake Park, which is a lovely and clean man-made lake. I was able to choose our room by checking in via the Hilton app. I strategically picked a room that was closest to the stairs on the west side of the hotel, as the stairs lead directly to the lobby and the seating area for free breakfast. The elevators are in the middle of the building and is not near the front desk. I tried to check into our room via the app, but it required me to see the front desk to get our room keys. We had checked in around 6pm on a Friday and did not wait at all to get our keys. They did require I swipe my Hilton Honors card so they could take the $50 non-refundable deposit, which would later be applied to our total room. They also gave us two free water bottles. The lobby has 24/hr complimentary coffee and hot water available. There are also public bathrooms right next to the front desk. We booked a Double Non-Smoking room. Upon inspection, we found that the room was cleaned thoroughly and had enough towels for two people. We did find the pillows and mattress too soft, but we were able to sleep soundly on our second night as we were exhausted that day. We discovered that the closet in the room had no doors but was covered by a curtain, which seemed unconventional but didn't slight us in the least. Two downsides of the room were the barn door to the bathroom (which allowed sound to escape) and the lack of vents. Because of this, the bathrooms got quite stuffy. The free breakfast was pretty standard. They had the same items the whole time we stayed there, but the hot food was replenished frequently and was kept warm. The hot breakfast items consisted of eggs, potatoes, sausages, and waffles (you made those on your own). The other breakfast items were fruit (bananas and green apples), basic cereals, yogurts, muffins, and bagels. They also had a juice dispenser where you could fill up your waterbottle with cold water. If you are vegan, there are very little options aside from the fruit. They had free shuttle service to the Westfield Mall, which we took advantage of and was easy to coordinate. They also have airport shuttle service, which we did not use. read more

I stayed there for two nights and then the next day at work I saw one scurry across my shirt that by all indications just fed on me. When I returned to the hotel I found a live one crawling around on the box-spring, and bedbug feces stains on the bed skirt! Also found adult bedbugs in one of the plastic mattress corners. As a resolution they gave me a room on the next floor up and it had some evidence of bedbugs there too, along with two empty beer cans behind the bed. Obviously they don't deep-clean very often. Shuttle took 30+ min. Person at desk overwhelmed leaving phone to ring forever. When asked the rate of the room she gave total not even knowing what "rate" means. Breakfast barely edible. Eating area uncomfortable and so crowded. No way enough room for a full hotel. Room had no luggage racks. No closet?! Just stuff behind curtain. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Guy next door could be heard stating some meeting at 6 am. Walls are so thin. For $300+ I don't expect bargain basement motel 6. I expect pretty nice! Other Hamptons have been nice. STAY AWARE UNTIL RENOVATIONS ARE COMPLETE. What renovations you might ask? Exactly! No where on the website are you told that this hotel is under serious renovations. The pool is closed permanently and is the business center. Breakfast is in a makeshift area, which is actually a meeting room. Because of this, the tables are all just the round meeting tables without table cloths. There is no where to keep milk and juice cold, so they bring it out in pitchers, where are emptied very quickly only to sit without a refill. Due to construction, the lobby is ridiculously small. Three chairs for about 12 people waiting airport or cruise ship shuttles. The rooms are okay, but not quiet. Do yourself a favor and stay at Aloft or another hotel near the airport. read more

Why? *closest Hampton Inn to Seatac *the shuttle driver who picked us up at island 3c gave us a mini bottle of water then we got regular sized comp water when we checked in *front desk woman greeted every customrr cheerfully and made the conversation personalized *they have newspapers and coffee, beverage station with teas and hot chocolate too 24 hours plus comp continental breakfast just right if you have an early flight out. *the shuttle can take you to the airport as well as restaurants in a 2 mile radius. *the Westfield or South Center Mall free shuttle also can pick up at this hotel and other area hotels.They have a set schedule. The room was big enough, clean, 4 pillows for each bed. Rain shower head and Neutrogena toiletries provided. There sre 6 hangers plus an iron and Ironing board and a luggage rack. read more

Each staff person I encountered was friendly and helpful. Fresh coffee was even provided at 3:30am when I had to head to the airport... (Thank you!) The only negative for me was the very intense smell of cleaning product that lingered in the room. It gave me a headache and was hard to air out. Worst experience at any Hampton inns and we have stayed at a bunch. First when i called from the airport they did not have me as a registered guest for pickup so they would not send a shuttle to get me. Had to find transportation to them. Then once there beds were so awful. You could feel the springs in them when laying down. Also, who does not have queen size beds in rooms. The doubles are horrible for couples to sleep on. Then the AC all night long had this horrible buzzing noise. I guess the only good thing was the shower actually had a little water pressure. read more

I always use the park & fly service when I travel. My main question when booking is the shuttle in service 24/7. When making my reservation I asked specifically if the shuttle was 24/7, I was told yes, absolutely. So I reserved the room. On check in I was confirming the 24/7 shuttle and the front desk clerk said oh no our shuttle stops at 10:30 pm. I said the reservation line told me this line sometimes gives out the incorrect information and I should call the hotel directly for future information, I asked why the information wasn't corrected with reservations.They said we have tried but it still happens. I told the desk clerk the "no shuttle" after 10:30pm was very inconvenient for me as I specifically asked for 24/7 shuttle as my return flight landed at 10:45pm.The front desk clerk said I could take Uber,Lift or a taxi. I explained that the reason I was using this hotel was the 24/7 shuttle. The front desk clerk asked if I wanted to proceed with check in. I said what choice do I have I leave in 8 hours. The shuttle to the airport was efficient BUT on our return we had to pay additionally for the taxi to the hotel. VERY disappointed. read more

Very disappointed with this property! I have about 4 or more stays monthly at hotels. I use Hilton properties whenever possible. I was in Seattle for a few days before flying to Eastern Washington and decided to move my father to a property closer to the airport for one night so he could take a shuttle to the airport. WHAT A MISTAKE! The hotel shuttle driver actually stole property from him. He had a brand new GPS and a "man-purse" in a shopping bag. The shuttle driver offered to load up his luggage and the shopping bag. When they reached the airport, the bag was light and missing these items. He went back to the hotel and even checked his room. When he was leaving the room, this same shuttle driver shoved cash at him, which he refused to take and reported the incident to hotel management. It's been more than 24 hrs and non response. I have escalated this issue with Corporate. My Dad is 88 years old. It sucks to be old, but even worse, have others take advantage of you. Here's hoping cameras have caught this individual in action and he'll be terminated! Hope it was worth his job! Bet he's been doing this for a while, according to the hotel he has been with them for a long time. If you use this property - hold on to your belongings tightly. We called ahead multiple times to ensure that there was a shuttle there for us with seats and room for luggage. they confirmed every time we called. when the shuttle arrived, they let others take the seats that we were promised, and that they would be back in about 30 minutes.... The hotel is clean, and close to the Links train, so a 30 minute train ride to Mariners Stadium, 10 to SeaTac. They advertised a shuttle to the airport but it doesn't go all hours... reservations didn't disclose that so we had to take an Uber and then when we came down to fly out it was the drivers lunch break... so we still had to wait 30+ minutes. Beds are very small, which they did advertise as double beds. Breakfast was powdered eggs, bad coffee... but it was free. read more

Total incompetence by this hotel in returning a left behind item. I forgot a belt in my room and realized it that afternoon when I got home and unpacked. I called the hotel and was told they couldn't look into at the time and I would need to call back when the house keep manager was in. I called the next day, they confirmed they found my belt and had me create a fedex account for them to mail the belt. I created the account while on the phone and provide my account number for them to ship. A weekly later, after not receiving my belt, I called back. They confirmed they still had my belt, I again provided my fedex account number and they assured me it would be sent. It's now been a month and after multiple more calls I still don't have my belt and they can no longer find it. Since this belt was bought for me by my mother in law during her trip through Italy, it has special importance to me. I'm at a loss as to why the hotel didn't send the belt like they told me they were doing on multiple occasions and what I could of done differently to get it returned. read more

The rooms didn't.have a refrigerator or a microwave or a coffee pot and were the size of what I would expect for a $100 a night room. Upon our arrival, kind of late- around 830pm, we waited for about a half hour before the front desk was able to help us. She was helping two other people check in before us and also stopping to answer the phone every two minutes. The airport line kept calling her and each time she'd repeat that they did not have any availability. I think they need to have someone else up there, especially overnight, when people are constantly calling to ask if there is a room available. That took a good amount of her time away from checking in guests. I check in and go up to my room. The first thing- I can't get in. The light on the door turns green, but the handle won't turn. I go back down to the first floor, from the third, and ask about it. She says I need to pull the handle up to open the door. Weird. (I called my partner on the fourth floor and he said his was push down- like normal!) I go back up and it worked. Shew! The room itself is super nice. The bathroom was a decent size and had a standing shower with sliding glass doors. I like that much more than a tub with a curtain. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds at a hotel I have ever slept in. I appreciated the fact that the room had so many lighting options. The desk, the nightstands, the hall, the bathroom, etc. I was able to have it dim while I read. The room came with an alarm clock, with numerous stations pre-programmed in by genre. Easy to find something. The outlets also had USB plugs- A+ in my book! On the bed when I arrived was a computer tray, so I was able to lay in bed and work on my laptop. The internet took a while to connect, but once it did, it worked just fine. The noise level was common for a hotel.
