This is a well maintained and well managed Hampton Inn! We like to stay at Hampton Inns because the rooms are clean, beds comfortable, showers functional, and of course, breakfast is included. It's not a luxury hotel, but it doesn't need to be when you're traveling for a destination or business. This time we had a bit of confusion with our reservation and management resolved the matter pretty quickly and decisively. It made our trip so much better! Thanks to Angel, by the way. The pool is indoors and pretty large. It looked clean. The breakfast area also had plenty of space and had the standard waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins, coffee, and juice. Stayed here 10 nights while traveling for work. The hotels I usually stay at in Spokane were sold out. Staff is nice and helpful. Room was nothing fancy but fine. Hotel was probably renovated in the last 10 years. My biggest problem with the hotel is LOCATION. It is a 10 to 15 minute drive to get to the nearest restaurant! When you are busy working you just don't want to waste time getting food. read more

ALL AREAS ARE REVIEWED 1-5, 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. Reservations-5- Super easy via AmX Travel. Parking-5-Lots of parking available (only two Diamond spaces FYI) Room-5-The room was great, bed was very comfortable, desk space was ample, TV was smart, and bathroom was good sized. Mattress/pillows-5- Bed was really comfortable and pillows were great, four good pillows per bed were provided. Elevator speed/availability-n/a- I stayed on the first floor and didn't have reason to use the elevator. Gym/pool-5-I really enjoyed this gym, there were separate rooms for cardio and weights. There was a great selection of dumbbells, a solid bench, and a good cable machine with several attachment's. Restaurant-n/a- there used to be a decent little Restaurant there, now the space is inky used for breakfast which is also good. Staff-5- Everyone was super nice and helpful. Price-4- Pretty average price for level of stay and location. Overall-5- I enjoyed staying here, the WiFi was solid and always worked and the water was always hot. I'll stay there again. Shout out- All off the front desk staff was fantastic, I wish I had written down names (next time). This was an extremely ok experience, but as far as hotels go, that's a good thing! The beds and sheets and pillows were great. I slept 11hrs the 1st night mostly due to not getting a lot of sleep the night before my early morning flight here. But everything in the room was conducive to that. The shower had one of those crap low flow showerheads, but most places have those now, but I could at least get this one oriented the way that I like. And nice clean fluffy towels. Didn't really take advantage of anything else the hotel offered. I did like the DirecTV powered TV too. More channels than a lot of hotels get. read more

We stayed at this hotel when making our way back to Seattle and found it to be a good representation of a Hampton Inn. We are Hilton Honors members and try to stay in them if we can to bank up the points. Of the more affordable properties we generally find Hampton Inns to be the most reliable and consistent and this location was as expected. They are never really lavish in any way, but they are clean and generally have good breakfast. This one was a bit outdated and could certainly use a facelift with the older drapes and bed skirting. The bathrooms are also quite old but the linens were all clean and everything was very quiet. Check in and check out were easy and there was access to our car from a side door that made bringing our things in easy, especially late at night. Breakfast was quite nice with several options for gluten free peeps. Overall, nice stay and price was a good budget find. read more

Stayed here again last Thursday. This is a wonderful hotel to stay at when visiting Spokane! My mom and I were in a road trip to Montana and spent the night in the handicap room. Very spacious and clean. She was able to negotiate the room while using her walker. On a serious note, we had a medical emergency that night and had the Spokane Fire Department come visit our room at 5 AM. The hotel was very helpful in assisting us in contacting the Fire Department/Paramedics. After a bag of glucose, mom was good as new. Strangest experience with getting a room ever! I had trouble with the app. No big deal it happens but at least I can see they have rooms. (I was about 20 min away.) We showed up and Rand the bell (got there about midnight). Lady comes on the speaker and asks if we have reservations. I say no and she replies they are booked up for the night. I say I checked on the app and they did have some free rooms. She lets me in and says let me check my inventory (very annoyed at me). She looks at my 17 year old son and I and says the only room they have is one double bed. I said that was strange as the app says they have rooms with two queen beds. She says well we have some expensive sweets. I show her the app that shows a two queen room at 147. She says, "fine I'll put you in that room" and wants to charge me 189. I request she price match the price on the app and she does. But she clearly didn't want to work and would rather be on her phone. Lying to us multiple times was just so very unprofessional. read more

I am loyal to the Hilton brand but this is one of the worst Hampton Inns I've ever stayed in. I'm a Diamond member and have been for 8 years running, but I did not enjoy my barely acceptable stay here. After arriving in Spokane around 1 am on a late flight, thankfully I only had to spend one night here. It was easy to call for the free shuttle and it arrived at the airport quickly. After about a 15 minute ride, I was checking in. The front desk clerk was an older gentleman and wasn't one who was well suited to the hospitality business. I understand it was super late at night, but this guy was as stone-faced and devoid of personality as anyone I have ever encountered. He gave me my keys but nothing else (Hilton Diamond members are supposed to get upgraded and two free bottles of water). When I asked about an upgrade, he said there were none (the hotel was empty, it was obvious they weren't full). When I asked if my bottled waters were already in the room (something that's sometimes normal when you have an HHonors floor room), he looked at me like I was from outer space and said that water was available for sale at the front desk. It was late, so I just let it go. I got to the room and it was fine, nothing special at all. Very standard issue and it met what I'd consider the bare minimum of being branded as a Hampton Inn. The bathroom looked old but was clean, the room was a standard size. The bed had a European mattress -- meaning it was rock hard and super duper uncomfortable. The one thing I couldn't stand is that THERE WAS NO AIR CONDITIONING. I'm not sure if the hotel even has a/c but it was only working to heat the room when I visited (very early October). It was hot, I was hot, and I was miserable all evening. I was able to crack the window very slightly, but the employees would take smoke breaks right below my room. So I could cool down a tiny bit but would be engulfed in a cloud of stinky smoke when I opened the window. The next morning the complimentary breakfast was super pitiful, again the bare minimum by Hampton Inn standards. We hitched a ride on the free shuttle back to the airport to pick up our rental car and couldn't wait to get the heck out of Spokane. I'm not sure there are many better options in town, but I was sorely disappointed with just about everything this Hampton Inn had to offer. read more

This is a great hotel. They are close to the airport, I90, and good dining. The rooms are clean and comfy. All the people were friendly.

I loved the fact this Hampton offers food & bar service! However it seems the restaurant manager doesn't like to order the salmon that is listed on the menu as a Ceaser salad and also a sandwich. Apparently wants waitstaff to convince Bistro customers to have chicken or burgers instead. I have ordered this Salmon Caesar salad 4 times over 4 visits this year and have been informed by wait staff they are out of salmon three times!!! ???? once maybe twice, I understand but three out of 4 times is blatant poor management. Food and beverage manager, Emmanuel Gatchalian, you have an extremely limited menu, the items offered on the menu should be available every day! If I performed my job taking care of customers like this experience, I would be unemployed! You have demonstrated to me you don't know how to maintain a restaurant inventory! Your hotel lost a regular customer tonight! My next trip I am back at the Spokane Valley Hampton where there are nearby restaurants that supply what is on their menu. For starters, the staff are super nice and handout free toothbrushes and toothpaste (I forgot mine) and there's also free breakfast and they have a wide variety of food just for breakfast. It is next to the airport and highway so if you have to leave for a flight or have to hit the road, it's already there. It is overall a great hotel and highly recommend. read more

Absolutely fine facility. The ol' girl has been here since the early 90s, but they've done a remarkable job keeping it clean, modernized, with all the amenities+ that you expect from a Hampton. They're the only Hampton that we've stayed at that has a full-service restaurant, and that's why they were selected for a Mom/Dad Valentine's 1-nite getaway. Picked her up at work, came here directly, threw the car keys on the dresser, cracked open a bottle o' Cabernet, and settled in for a romantic/quiet time with my hard workin' gal on a Thursday night. Add in a soothing soak in their spa, a comfy bed, marital activity, and then a wake up to a top-shelf complimentary breakfast on a lazy next morning. Booked room over the ph direct. Requested to be away from the elevator. My room was directly across from it. Noisy room. No direct number for the hotel and reputed through call center for further assistance which took 4 phone calls and a 16 min transfer between Dept's just to talk to someone for late check out. By direct access means - calling the number given on web and maps takes you to a call center who then tries to process your request and then forwards you to the hotel only to no avail. Calls kept dropping in the transfer process which is very frustrating. BW down the street - you call. The actual hotel picks up. They directly respond to your request. You get off the phone. Very nice Hampton Inn. Appears to be going through renovations but didn't effect us in our part of the hotel. Quick check in. Our room was very clean. Beds felt brand new and comfortable. Shower stall wall didn't appear to be updated with the rest of the room as it had some weird cracing/stains. Overnight desk clerk had major trouble processing our purchase of snacks to our room bill at the pantry. Wanted ID and a signature on a blank slip plus took forever to ring up the items in his computer. Not sure why all that hassle is required. I travel frequently around the country and have never run into this before at a hotel pantry. Breakfast was great. The attendant was super friendly and helpful. Be aware, this property is located in a wonky location down a side street off of I-90 pretty far away from downtown. You might think you are lost while trying to find it. read more

I was so impressed with this Hampton Inn! Beautiful, semi-secluded area (at least it felt that way), with well manicured grounds. Everything seemed very clean especially in light of covid. Guest rooms were quite spacious and so comfortable. The guest agent that checked us in, Mae I believe, was perfect! Kind, warm and efficient, couldn't have asked for a better welcome in a hospitality setting. Breakfast was great! Pool area looked nice but was closed, again due to covid. Great hotel despite is obscure location. Added perks include a pool, fitness center and 24 hour sundry shop. Hilton Honors Elite score VIP parking near the entrance of the hotel. Literally every staff member I encountered greeted me cheerfully, offered assistance and thanked me for choosing this hotel. Top notch customer service! My room faced the busy highway and I'm happy to report the noise of the roadway was minimal. I slept well and woke up feeling refreshed. I'm assuming all rooms are like the one I had which came with a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. These little appliances were appreciated and utilized often during my stay. Keep in mind you're only 7 minutes from the airport however any decent restaurants will take you at least 15 minutes to get to. read more

The people were ok and the staff some people were ok but the general manager was a coward and the front staff didn't listen to what was said when we checked in. My elderly mother was with me and they made her feel awful about herself after they kicked us out for no good reason. The issue could have been taken care of it was given to us by our insurance agent rather than the manager talking to us. We were in the fire here and couldn't go home and are grateful for our insurance. If you have health issues DO NOT stay here once they find out even though it's nothing to fear they will kick you out I stead of listening when you check in. This hotel had no road noise, but the walls are thin so we could hear a lot of noise from above us. And the housekeeper started vacuuming the room across from us at 9 am, so we didn't get to sleep in as much as we wanted. There was enough hot water for 1 shower. Disappointing to not be able to take a hot shower after paying $250/nt. The pool was fun for my kid. The beds were comfortable. read more

Stayed here for a one night weekend stay, front staff was not very friendly, hotel lobby was under partial renovations which I didn't pay too much attention to because it was just the lobby. Hotel room had dingy carpets and curtains hanging over the window. The bed was semi comfortable however it smelled of strong bleach. The shower and sink did not drain very well and had standing water in them for almost half an hour after use. Paint on shower ceiling was peeling and there was hair all over the walls when I entered the bathroom for the first time. I would not stay here again, the front desk worker did not seem to care when I mentioned the above information to them. read more

Wow this is the biggest Hampton Inn I've been to. Large pool. Gym, laundry and bistro. My room was just as I had asked and the staff was super helpful in dinner suggestions. It also has an extensive pantry for last minute items. I'd recommend this hotel and will use it again the next time I am in Spokane. read more

Horrible experience. The bathroom floor had black grout that used to be, and should still be, white. There was also broken and black grout around the tub, and peeling wallpaper. The breakfast was not at all enjoyable: artificial tasting eggs, rubbery sausage and fruit that looked and tasted old. The bed was too hard and worsened hip pain. BEWARE: This hotel's computer system allows reservations for 3 people (2 adults, 1 kid), in a King room that has no other bedding, even though a child is defined as anyone up to 17 yrs. old. Then, they will demand more money for a roll-away when you appear at the front desk. This is exactly what happened to us after booking a room via Hotwire (which guarantees bedding for 3!!). We have stayed in many prepaid rooms, and this has NEVER occurred before. In our experience, every other hotel has figured out that 3 people can't sleep in a King bed except this one. Keep in mind, if you book directly with the hotel's web site the same thing can happen! We were also told by front desk personnel that their contract with Hotwire would not allow them to move us to a room with 2 Queens instead of a single King. Hotwire says this is incorrect, plain and simple. In the past other properties have made adjustments to our room as needed, or as a courtesy. Hmmmm.......... Overall view: very overrated, substandard bath cleanliness and food, terrible customer service and questionable responses from front desk personnel. read more

Every single employee I ran into was super friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk, cleaners and the food servers! Our room was spacious, clean and while not the most soundproof, it was afterall facing the freeway, I still slept pretty good. I was a big fan of the great weight room and the breakfast! Lots of choices, friendly service, the only suggestion I would have would be to take the waffle irons and toaster and set up a different location, maybe on the opposite wall as the first morning I made the mistake of getting there late and that seemed to be the bottle neck in the line. But I am not complaining, we enjoyed our stay. read more

I usually stay at this place when I'm in Spokane and have an early flight out the next day. The only nicer Hilton property in town is the Doubletree, and that's downtown so it's more of a hike to the airport. This place could use a nice "Hampton" makeover, but I've never had any problems here. Friendly staff, clean rooms, wi-fi works, rates are always really good. Last time I stayed here, I got upgraded to the "Aspen Suite" since I'm a Diamond member. Holy 70s, Batman! There was a jacuzzi in the bedroom, and mirrors on all the closet doors and in a bunch of other places in the room. Very interesting, and kind of funny. Overall, I'd recommend staying here if you need a clean, comfy place to crash for the night. read more

I love my Hilton points so Hampton Inn is the official staypoint on my cross country journey of 2008. This was a pretty nice Hampton, quite removed from the road and actually has houses on both sides of it. You can see the highway in the distance from the hotel but I didn't notice any noise from that or the somewhat close by airport. Breakfast was the standard, one or two hot dishes, with loads of pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc. They do have an on-site "restaurant" that stays open until 10 PM and serves sandwiches, salads, soups, etc. They have a gift shop and a little cooler that sells wine, beer, and $5 pints of Ben & Jerry's! The heated indoor pool and hot tub area were both quite large for a hotel which was nice. They also have a little outdoor patio with lounge chairs and tables for sun worshippers. The gym was okay, two treadmills and two bikes (all older) and a set of free weights. The treadmills didn't explode at running speed so that's always a plus. read more

This Hampton Inn was rather unique in some ways. The hotel property is set back a little ways from the main roads. I arrived at night, and the long private road leading to the hotel is lined with trees strung with sparkly white lights. Definitely a nice touch! The hotel also had some nice Autumn decorations in the lobby and dining area - Jack O'Lanterns, mums, that sort of thing. This was very welcoming and cozy! The lobby and first floor are laid out a little weird. The breakfast area is sunken, so you have to go down stairs or a ramp to get to it. Food is for sale in the evenings. A flat panel TV and a fireplace are also in this sunken area. This is one of the first Hampton's I've been to that has a fairly extensive selection of refrigerated food for sale near the breakfast "nook" as well as a gift shop! While everything was obviously well cared-for in this hotel, the decor is a bit dated. The fitness center is a bit small, but the equipment functions, and the free weights are definitely appreciated. The only problem during my visit is that the fitness room was really warm, and the air conditioning didn't appear to be working. Everything else about my stay was pleasant, and the hotel's proximity to the Spokane airport worked out wonderfully for my itinerary. read more

Overall, I was extremely impressed with this hotel. The hotel and room were clean, quiet, comfortable, and well-appointed. There was ample parking near the hotel and access to lobby, elevator, and rooms. I previously worked at a large major brand hotel chain and can say that this hotel competes well with much more expensive hotels. The friendly and helpful hotel staff are ready to serve. The hotel features free newspaper, free Wi-Fi, 24 complimentary coffee, and a nice sundries shop. The pool and workout facilities are clean and well-appointed. Piles of clean towels are available. This hotel gives special attention to the details (for example, in-room terry cloth robes, 2 in-room flat screen televisions, lap desk, etc.)--really too many to list, but you will be impressed. I have seen few hotels that give this much attention to the details. I stayed in the Home Suite Home Suite (room 206). A very nice room with two huge beds, kitchenette, and a soaking tub that would easily fit 2-3 adults. The location of the room was great (middle hall, 2nd floor). I would recommend this room. I was actually surprised to see a hotel this nice flanked by a highway, commercial park, and residential area. I would say that its location is its only drawback. The only suggestions I would make would be to have more hangers in the rooms and freshen up the pool/hot tub surfaces. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and practical hotel, this is your place. I would definitely stay here again and again. read more

I agree with previous poster that rooms have paper thin walls so you here showers running, alarm clocks, etc. One gripe I have is that batteries on tv remote were weak, so it would work one minute and not the next. My son and I are staying this weekend visiting Gonzaga and we have had the best service from a very friendly staff here at the Hampton Inn. August is the Asst General Manager and he makes everyone feel at home with his amazing hospitality. Of course Hampton Inns are my favorite hotel chain - spacious, clean rooms; affordable rates; free wi-if & breakfast. The hotel in Spokane has a roomy fitness room with Windows opening up into their spacious pool. The cookies and hot chocolate are also a nice touch in the lobby on a cold night like tonight too. We will definitely be back to Spokane and stay here again. read more

Amazing facility and staff. When I checked in I asked for a quiet room. I was sent to a room that was clearly under construction. I returned to the front desk and they apologized for the trouble and upgraded me to the Emerald Sweet. The pictures tell the story of this amazing room. It was a great place to relax after my work meetings and even get some extra work done. I would have given 5 stars but their gym was too small and it's an important factor in deciding where I stay given how much I travel. If that's not a huge deal for you, you have to check this hotel out the next time you're in Spokane. I would return simply for the amazing customer service. read more

My family and I were driving home from Rapid City, SD to Bellevue, WA and needed a final night stop. We decided to go past Missoula, MT and make it to Spokane for the shorter second day drive. We didn't book a hotel room ahead of time so about an hour outside of Spokane, we checked some prices online and called the Hampton Inn since it was right off I90. The room was $120 for two queen beds --- sufficient for our family of 5 traveling with a sleeping bag. The hotel is what you expect. Serviceable, generally clean, well lit and with solid staff. There are no surprises, good or bad, and that is a compliment. They offer free hot breakfast which I didn't partake, but the rest of the family said it was not all that great and we stopped on the road to get coffee and muffins. read more

The room was clean and a decent size, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I give them a huge thanks for letting us check in early as well. We flew in very early AM for a 1pm meeting and wouldn't be back to the hotel until near midnight. We explained our situation to the staff and they let us get in the room early, relax and get unpacked so we wouldn't have to deal with all that when we returned at midnight. The hotel is near the airport which is very convenient. read more
