Unfortunately, my stay has been less than stellar. Thursday morning, an able bodied employee parked in the last handicap parking spot. I'm traveling with my mom, who needs the handicapped parking space. Checked in Wednesday night, and have yet to receive any house keeping. Beds unmade, trash cans never emptied. Had to get fresh towels, hand towels and washcloths from the front desk Friday evening. Bathroom tub is far from clean, and the shampoo dispenser has been empty the entire time. 2nd time in a row the staff was rude and unwelcoming. As a Diamond member I stay at many Hilton brand hotels and this one by far has the worst service and I will no longer stay. I felt so unwelcomed I just logged into their competitors website and stayed there. read more

Worst lodging ever. Staff is incompetent.....which is surprising considering they charge 5-star prices. Even charge for parking but provide no security: just a paved spot to put your vehicle for the night. When you do talk with management, they basically blow smoke up your butt and promise to address the problem. Same goes for their corporate management. This Hampton Inn really sucks! Really, really hard. Do yourself a favor and find any other place to stay. Will bring my bedroll and stay in the truck next time.....definitely more value for the dollar. read more

Not trying to be a KAREN, but I do want proper care! I did not feel comfortable at this hotel. Staff needs to learn customer service. On booking we were told we could pay with cash we get here they tell us no. That is fine, but she rudely said "you can go stay somewhere else" basically said they could loose 600! & then proceeded to just stare at us getting our stuff out of the car. Room is Farley clean and didn't smell the best! Our toilet was stopped up & they did not send anyone down to our room to fix it they had my dad do it! How unprofessional is that?! We will ABSOLUTELY NOT be staying here anymore. Go to holiday Inn next door! read more

This has to have been one of my most enjoyable and pleasant hotel experiences I've ever had!...and the staff is so great, helpful and friendly and the accommodations and service are exemplary! We will stay here again when we come back to Garner State Park which is only 30 minutes away! read more

Not even mediocre. Ice machine didn't work. Room was dusty. Chair had nasty poopy stains. Flushing mechanism on toilet was loose and had to be jingled to flush. Even the toilet paper holder didn't fit and kept falling. The faucet in the tub was loose and I thought it was coming out of the wall when I pulled up on the knob to turn on the shower. Not impressed at all. It looked like the room was hardly cleaned. There were scuff marks all over the wall. Breakfast was warm yogurt that wasn't on ice (are you trying to make people sick?!) and a bag with a muffin and breakfast bar. Next time we'll save our $140. What an embarrassment. Definitely not Hilton standards. The hotel the street was not only cheaper but cleaner. Save your money and skip this hotel! read more

I finally got my clothes. I had all but forgotten them and one day they just showed up. Amazing.

We reserved two nights at this hotel and the first day the restrooms water didn't drain we spoke with someone right away they promised maintenance so we left and went on about our day came back to the same problem the next morning same thing so my husband spoke with a lady in the hall bc no one was at the front desk we went on about our day hoping it would be fixed to come back to the same situation. We spoke with the front desk lady and she said maintenance again but we are just waiting. Not to mention we are in a pandemic and cleanliness should be top priority but we found a old sandwich in the closet as well as a grease stain on the bed. Maybe we just got a bad room but as a guest things should be resolved better and more accordingly. With no resolution we asked for a 100 percent refund and we would leave on our second night which is granted. This is extremely inconvenient for me and my husband. read more

Mostly clean and comfortable, but so much is not functioning, like the ice machine, the doors don't open with a key except the front door, the office computers don't work, wifi doesn't work well, and the breakfast is the same thing every day in a bag (for someone staying there as an out of town worker this is noticeable). Very dirty. Tried two rooms and found crumbs on floor and hair in shower. Not a clean place to stay especially during the COViD19 scare!!

This hotel was fantastic in every area but one. The room was great,with a mini frig, microwave,coffee maker,iron, and extra blanket. The shower with no tub was really nice and hot. The breakfast was not my favorite,as I like a hot one. The eggs,canadian bacon,and french toast was not my favorite, however if you like cold cereal and fruit, you are good! Living at the Hampton Inn Uvalde was the best hotel experience I have ever had in my life. I stayed here for four months for work, and the staff continually went above and beyond to meet the needs of my 12-man team. Paula and her staff treated us like part of the family, and even fed us homemade and catered meals during the holidays that fell within our stay. They knew all of our names, did whatever they good to help us, including opening breakfast early and closing late based on our shift-like work schedule. Maintenance issues were repaired within 24 hours of mentioning them. Everything was neat and orderly at all times. The beds were comfortable and the rooms tidy. They even gave us a going-away luncheon and signed a card saying how much they would miss us. I feel like I need to go back and check on my new Uvalde family at some point! Wonderful place!! The staff was very friendly, helpful and overall great!! The rooms were large, beds were comfortable and the showers were walk-in. There was a basketball tournament going on and even though there were 3 teams there for 3 days, we would have never know it if we had not seen the buses. Very quiet and spacious!!
