The big tree, lights, little details everywhere. While visiting, they had a horse and carriage come to pick up the residents for a ride around Newport. The smiles on their faces were enormous. Once everyone came inside, we were treated to hot chocolate and other goodies. They also had a wonderful program called "Elves for Elders", where residents make wish lists and people surprise them with gifts, it was just really thoughtful and added so much Christmas magic. While they assist you in stretching and therapeutic massage, they also give you the exercise tools and tips you need in order to maintain a pain-free life everyday at home and in the workplace. I sent my dad here for his alcoholism almost two years ago now and I look back on that decision as one of the proudest moments of my life. I never thought in a million years my dad would ever stop drinking, but I can tell you that after sending him to High Watch for 35 days, he came home and hasn't touched alcohol since. If he can do it, anyone can do it. The hardest part is getting that family member to agree to come here. I'll come back and expand on this review at a later date. Best of luck to anyone reading this!
