He does not push his patients into making decisions and ensures that they fully understand the pros and cons of how symptoms could and should be treated. During his time as my family's general medicine practitioner his diagnosis of any problems we had, his recommendations for treatment and his treatments were all spot on. On one occasion a pulmonologist recommended a treatment when a small spot was discovered on my lung during an x-ray taken during a military reserve exam. I consulted Dr. Manalo and he explained that the recommended treatment would definitely remove any problem with my lungs but that the medications recommended would probably destroy my liver and kidneys.

They are good at trying you to get into one of their "new" screening programs your insurance will cover. Email responses from doctor's with other systems take 24 to 72 hours. At Inova, it takes as long as 10 business days.
