I have used it more for ugent care, usually on weekends and times my normal doctor wasn't free. I recently moved back to fairfax and had to visit a few times. I have been assisted with normal colds and viruses, along with some sports injuries which required xrays. Every time, the experience was a good one. Wiat times were never a problem, better than most doctors' offices. The staff was always polite and helpful. English may be a second language for a few of the staff, so they may be quieter and not as talkative, but always nice and professional. I will continue to use this location as it can be much easier than a primary care doctor. Also, to those who complained about billing, I would always rather have them bill as a primary doctor visit over urgent care. Every insurance alive charges more for an urgent care or ER visit versus doctors office visit.

Do not go here to receive COVID 19 Test because it is not free…read more My wife and I made an online appointment for COVID 19 Test from the car for Sept 15 at 3:30 pm. I notified them that we had arrived. Someone came out and took our insurance cards and ID. Apparently they forgot about us because I called them at 4:30 to remind them we were still waiting. We then took the COVID 19 test fifteen minutes later after being required to answer a few questions from the doctor (3 minutes tops). They then billed my insurance company (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) $150 for an "Office Visit" for my wife and $194 for "Medical Care" for me. And then billed me for the $30 and $35 copays. COVID 19 Testing is a cash cow for this office. Answering a few questions from the doctor over the phone doesn't count as an "office visit" or "medical care" in my book.

But I had a very frustrating experience with one of their doctors, Minh Tran, if remembering his name correctly, and he was a D.O. instead of an M.D., which is an interesting question to consider. I do not believe that I am the only person to have an issue with him although I'm sure any manager would assure me otherwise because they can't come out and be too honest for their own good. He was very dismissive, invalidating, argumentative, and claimed to have difficulty finding me while holding it against me in a small building. It's not a big hospital so such a claim seems implausible. The whole appointment seemed like a big joke to him while I was in pain thanks to a medical condition, which isn't something I take kindly to. Speaking of this, if I'm pissed off enough to write a review, then you know it's bad because I don't generally complain unless I think it's of benefit to others. And I honestly wonder if he's a narcissist after our encounter because of the victim-bully routine that is very familiar to me after decades of dealing with narcissists. I'm not sure how he made it through medical school and how a person with such an advanced degree of education wouldn't have better "Win friends and influence people" skills. Hopefully he can refocus his efforts towards offering a higher degree of customer service and professionalism to good people that want the best for everybody including him while they're a bit perturbed with him. Even my roommate later told me, it's better to go to better doctors than Patient First, which is why I probably bumped into a character like him. Maybe that's true although many of the other doctors and nurses at Patient First seemed excellent. Overall Patient First has been great to do business with.

If you are getting blood drawn at Quest in the 10721 building, suite 1400 or seeing a doctor, I…read moresuggest you find another location in Fairfax. There are multiple medical offices in the same building and there is literally no parking available. I had to park in a residential area and cross 4 lanes of traffic to get to my appointment. Not worth potentially getting hit by a car to get there. Totally appalled that a medical building would allow this to happen. I saw elderly people with walkers trying to figure out what to do. Cars were double parked and you could not even get in the parking lot. I mentioned to the person drawing my blood and she said that a lot of people were complaining. The building should be shut down until they can get the parking situation under control or hire a company for free valet parking. Never again!

You go to the medical center where your doctor has her offices. Before you sign in, you ask the receptionist for the key to the hallway bathroom. You open the bathroom door, and find: * Ceiling air-vents so covered in grime and filth you fear your respiratory health won't stand the visit. * A reverse-mounted toilet handle that requires so much forward-leaning effort to depress, you wonder if it was worth the flushing. Then, you realize you need to stay leaned-over to hold the handle down to complete the flushing - one, two, three, four - all while wondering who else stood here and held this handle down on their doctor's visit. Super Fun! * A array of single toilet-paper rolls so the urine-and-feces-stained hands of sick and pestilent-ridden fellow patients can fondle those rolls all day because properly-sized commercial rolls inserted into the dispenser is too much trouble. Fairfax Medical Center should be ashamed of itself for the slovenly and reckless care of its facility--and for endangering the health and well-being of every patient that crosses its threshold. DO NOT lease office space in Fairfax Medical Center. DO NOT frequent any medical practice there. But mostly, DO NOT use the bathroom in Fairfax Medical Center.

She was first taken to another hospital, where the plan was to put her under anesthesia to reset her shoulder. Because she had a life-threatening reaction to anesthesia about 10 years ago, when she flatlined during surgery, we were extremely hesitant. Combined with the circumstances there, we decided to take her to Fairfax Hospital. That decision led us to Dr. Titus Park and his incredible team, and we are so thankful it did. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Park had a clear plan that did not involve anesthesia. He immediately put our entire family at ease with his calm confidence, compassion, and professionalism. My daughter was in excruciating pain--a true 10 out of 10. She asked one of the nurses if she would pray with her, and without hesitation, she kindly did. That simple act of kindness meant more than words can express. When Dr. Park successfully put her shoulder back into place, the relief was immediate. My daughter looked him in the eyes and said, "I could just kiss you!" It was such a heartfelt expression of gratitude because her pain was instantly gone. What also stood out was Dr. Park's wonderful bedside manner. Even in the middle of a stressful situation, he found a way to make us smile. He asked my two daughters, now both in their late 30s, which one was my favorite and which one had been the cutest baby. They both immediately raised their hands and looked at me, and I just turned my head. We all burst into laughter. It was exactly the kind of lighthearted moment our family needed. Dr. Park and his entire team turned an unbearable situation into a bearable one through their exceptional medical care, kindness, compassion, and genuine concern for both their patient and her family. We will never forget the care we received. Thank you, Dr. Park and your amazing team, for giving our daughter relief and giving our family peace of mind. We are forever grateful.

The quality of care here has steadily declined. We feel forced into the ER because our Primary Care…read moreprovider ignores everything beyond basic growth charts and vaccines. Unfortunately, the ER experience is no better; the priority is clearly "patient turnover" rather than "patient wellness." Every visit follows the same script: Urgent Care dismisses us with ineffective antibiotics for a supposed ear infection, and the ER rushes to discharge us without investigating the underlying cause. The staff is increasingly irritable, and the doctors seem to rely on snap judgments rather than diagnostic testing. It feels like the Hippocratic Oath has been traded for the bottom line. We aren't here for fun; we are here for help that we aren't receiving.
