We stopped by for lunch on our drive from Vegas to Zion. It's located at a golf course and there's plenty of parking right out front. Hana Hou is family-owned and everyone was incredibly friendly, the owner even came out to chat with guests. The portions are huge, and the BBQ meats were phenomenal. We tried the short ribs and the guava BBQ chicken, both were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. If you're driving through St. George, this is absolutely worth the stop. Highly recommend!

Driving back to Vegas & was looking for a good local food restaurant. Honestly thought were driving into the wrong spot since it brought us to a golf course, but the restaurant sits next to the golf shop. The restaurant was clean, had plenty of space & great views. We ordered all the grinds from garlic chicken, to poke nachos & locomoco. The food was ono! So sweet, the owner came out to talk story. Family owned business working with his sons in the kitchen. We felt like we're were back home! Will definitely be stopping by when we're back in Utah. Mahalos for the great company and ono food come support our local small business & their Ohana, they won't disappoint.

Omg- Surf and Turf plate.. Onolicious

Found this gem on our way up to Salt Lake City for business. Me and the hubby split this for lunch and it was amazing! Best poke I've had besides in Hawaii hands down. We are from Vegas and nothing even comes close. The garlic chicken was bomb too- Josh the owner and chef said we had to try since first time there. We will definitely be back , don't miss out!

Combo plate lunch. Kalbi, pulehu guava chicken, rice, and mac salad. 1/2lb Hawaiian style poke in the bowl.

Wow, this place is Ono. First thing the restaurant is at a golf course and is spacious with spectacular views. Now the best part. The Hawaiian style poke is the best in the west I've had at a restaurant ever!!! Fresh ahi, perfectly roasted inamona, crunchy limu, crunchy onions, perfect amount of Hawaiian salt. Kalbi was delicious and the pulehu guava chicken was perfect. The marinades for both were bomb. The garlic chicken was also ono and the mac salad was just how I like it, peppery. One the to note, rather than having traditional cabbage at the bottom of the meat, braddah Paki puts furukaki rice, go figure, awesome. Paki also does smoke meat. His cuts are a perfect balance of fat and meat. His smoke with real keawe is perfect and his sauce is bomb. Braddah Paki is lagit and represent Waimanlo well.

Super good food! The sweet waitress asked if we would mind waiting 30 minutes for the food and we said we didn't, and we didn't wait too long probably 15 minutes! It was fresh and very tasty. The poke was super good as well! Love how it is family owned and you can really tell they care about giving their costumers the best.

Let me put ya'll onto this spot in St. George. Tucked inside the cafe of the St George Golf Club's cafe, is a legit Hawaiian restaurant. Don't go to the chain restaurant if you're craving Hawaiian plates, come here. The owner, Josh, and his family are originally from Oahu and they bring the island flavors with them to little old St George, Utah. The customer service was so good, they made you feel like ohana before you even get your food. I got the surf and turf plate, kalbi short ribs and fresh poke, made to order. You choose your protein and poke flavor. I went with Hawaiian which is the traditional shoyu, onions, green onions, seaweed, and macadamia nuts. It's over a bed of rice sprinkled with furakake and oh so flavorful. The ribs were tender with the perfect balance of sweet and hint of saltiness. Their Mac salad is unlike any I've had before. No shredded carrots, their version is speckled with black pepper and is more on the savory side, I was a big fan of it. Whether you're playing a round of golf, driving through, or there for a convention or your kid's sports tournament, do yourself a favor and check out Hana Hou Kitchen.

Hawaiian-style poke, ate all the garlic chicken, and almost ate all the poke, but I remembered to take a picture. If you have to wait for your food, it's totally worth the wait. Best Hawaiian restaurant in Utah, hands down. Check out Paki and Josh. We get Poke almost every Sunday

The atmosphere, service, and the food was on point. In Hawaiian we say Ono (means delicious) and that's what it was.

There are places you go... and then there are places that feel like you've finally come home…read more The Painted Pony is the latter. We adore slipping away for lunch and settling onto the patio, where the world softens--shade drapes gently overhead, birds sing as if they've been hired just for the occasion, and time... well, time slows down enough to breathe. The service is nothing short of immaculate--attentive in that quiet, effortless way that makes you feel seen without ever being interrupted. And the food... oh, the food. The bacon-wrapped dates must have been crafted in heaven... or perhaps meant for the gods and somehow gifted to us. The tuna melt was so transcendent I found myself wondering if I had ever truly tasted tuna before... or if I had just been living a lesser version of the experience all along. And the beef bourguignon... my heavens. It was as if your grandmother--if she were also a five-star chef--had been waiting for you, simmering something rich and soulful to welcome you back after a long journey. Even the tea felt royal... and the mocktails were so delightful, so thoughtfully made, that not once did we miss the alcohol. The Painted Pony isn't just a meal... it's a return.

Our waitress, Elydia, was very attentive and promptly refilled our drinks and chips whenever she noticed they were running low. The complimentary chips and salsa were excellent. The chips tasted freshly made, and we were served two salsa (mild and hot) both packed with flavor. The hot salsa was not as spicy as I anticipated but well seasoned and tasty. I ordered the combo plate with two hard-shell shredded beef tacos, served with rice and refried beans. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. My husband chose the veggie fajitas, which featured a nice medley of mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, and zucchini. He requested black beans with no cheese or sour cream, and the rice and beans plate included a dollop of guacamole. His meal also came with handmade flour tortillas that were soft, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Despite the restaurant being busy, we were seated immediately, and our meals arrived within just a few minutes. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and if we're ever back in the area, we would definitely return.
