    Beef Shawarma Plate
    Lauren W.

Great place for dine-in or takeout. Very plain decor, but the food is far from plain! We were greeted and seated when we walked in. Many variations of shawarma and kebab with rice, hummus, etc. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer, beef shawarma plate, and hummus beef shawarma plate. Everything was very delicious and flavorful. The beef was incredibly tender with no toughness. Hummus had a smooth texture. Came with pita and a plate of pickles. Would definitely come here again.

The food here is always delicious. I'm usually a chicken guy but the beef shawarma rice plate is where it's at. You also need the hummus though. It's very creamy and smack your lips delicious. The people who work here are all very nice and accommodative. Very friendly. The place is always very clean. Highly recommend. Definitely one of our favorites in the area.

My friend and I came here for dinner on a Saturday evening. This place is a family owned small business. You can tell they make their food with love. My friend ordered the chicken mix plate and I ordered the chicken hummus plate. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was great! I'm so glad we stopped in here. I'll definitely come here for my Mediterranean food fix!

Hanadi's is a restaurant that serves Mediterranean foods such as grape leaves, tabouli, chicken shawarma, lamb kebab, and baklava. Prices are reasonable. For lunch, I ordered Hanadi's food through a delivery service. Here are my ratings for these foods: Baba gannouj - 4 stars - This appetizer contained eggplant, tahini, garlic, and lemon juice, and it was accompanied with a couple pieces of thin pita bread. Hummus falafel roll - 3 stars - This wrap contained falafel, hummus, greens, tomatoes, turnips, pickles, and parsley. I probably should have ordered the falafel and hummus separately, because I ended up picking out the falafel to eat. Side of rice - 4.5 stars - This rice was cooked perfectly, and it contained flavorful almonds and pine nuts. Fattoush salad - 4 stars - The ingredients were fresh and included romaine lettuce, herbs, lemon juice, fattoush dressing, and crispy pita chips.

Nice little Mediterranean place at the beginning of McKnight. Get your grub on before running some errands. We visited on a Sunday afternoon around 2PM. You order at the counter and can dine in, but they don't really wait on you. Basic menu but still enough options to choose from. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer, shish tawook roll, and beef shwarma plate. Tons of flavor in everything! The ingredients were fresh and the sauce was very tasty. The meat was flavorful and tender in both entrees. The fries were very peppered and not my favorite, but still good nonetheless. The cauliflower was fantastic and I highly recommend. Overall not a bad stop. I wish they had some yogurt or mango smoothie options. They do have a refrigerator with bottled drinks if you want something to-go, but they also have fountain drinks.

This is the one of the best beef schwarmas that I have ever had. So tender and flavorful!

Tried the new Hanadi's on McKnight Rd. If you love Mediterranean Food, you must try it. You can eat in and order or do takeout. The meat is so tender and flavorful. The flavor of the beef schwarma hits you on your first bite. Wow! My husband loved his tawaook (chicken) and rice. It was also very moist, tender and flavorful. The rice was all kinds of buttery goodness. Check them out. The two gentlemen were very nice and provided great service.

The BEST Mediterranean food in the Pittsburgh region is here...guaranteed! Ayman Hanadi's new location in the North Hills on McKnight Road is worth a drive from anywhere. Recently relocated from Forest Hills (to our great sadness here), his new location offers comfortable seating in a very clean and well laid out restaurant. The food - exceptional! Everything is delicious, from the appetizers to the entrées. Try the best tabouli salad around, the cauliflower (my son loves it!), some shawarma (to die for!), kabob plate (yum!), chicken mix plate, their wraps...try anything and you will love it! Ooohhh...save room for some great baklava, or take some home to savor that sweetness later! Seriously folks...eat here! You are going to LOVE their food!

Solid lunch at Hanadi's yesterday. Was in the area and did a lunch "near me" search. This fairly small place is tucked away in an old strip shopping center. Super casual. It looked like the kind of place where you'd order from the counter, but the guy who came out of the back asked us to be seated & handed us menus. Husband & I grabbed a booth. No one else was in the restaurant. I got the chicken shawarma "rolled" - which was basically a pita wrap. The chicken was good, tho I have never had pickles in a shawarma. Little odd but not bad. Husband had the shish tawook "rolled" - same drill. Very similar dishes. We also got the baba gannouj which was very good - creamy & flavorful. If we're in the area, we'd go back.

Absolutely delicious wrap! Everything from this place seems so fresh and tasty. The menu is a bit limited, but it looks like they nail everything they have, which is great. I tried the chicken shawarma Mediterranean roll. It was incredibly good! The chicken was delicate and soft. Not too spicy. There was a great sauce accompanying it. Super garlicky and tasty! The pickles were nice and fresh. The roll itself was pretty good too, not just a standard white tortilla. Nice grill on it for extra crunchiness. Good portion and reasonable price. All in all, this is a great little place. Very nice Mediterranean food options when there aren't that many in the area. I highly recommend the wraps and chicken shawarma!

While the food is good they gave me this munchkin miniman size ccup of sauce for all this damn food....RIDICULOUS for $28

Good food stingy on sauces ! Had to take the food home and create some of my ownsauces to use since the food is super dry without the sauce

Great family restaurant with freshly prepared meals. The owners are very friendly and they maintain a spotless restaurant. We enjoyed our chicken and beef shawarma, both were very flavorful and freshly prepared.

The employees promptly greeted and seated us, and I appreciated that they recommended specific menu items to help me choose. After a reasonable wait, the foods were brought to our table. Here are my ratings for what we ordered: Grilled Shrimp - 5 stars - Several large, juicy shrimp were on skewers and had been perfectly cooked. It was my return to the dating scene after a few years in hiatus, would I be ready? Could things actually go right? Why did we pick this night to go out for the first time? Am I going to completely lose my mind? Well, the original plan was Tacayo and it was closed, but we strolled past it into this establishment with me not even knowing that we were in a totally different restaurant. I looked at the menu, this doesn't look like taco's at all, what is happening here? We called Tacayo to make sure in case they were open and we could still eat there. Nope, they were certainly closed. You know what? I took it in stride and said, "what the heck, I like mediterranean food." We were waited on and placed our orders, things seemed to be moving along nicely. The only problem being we had both ordered the falafel platter and my date calmly tells me that in the past she thinks she had an allergic reaction after she ate chick peas. I was like, well we better just inform our waiter and get something else. She says, no, that's o.k. I don't want to waste food. Ummm....you want to risk your own health so as not to waste food? As it turns out she at the falafel and was completely fine. So, truth be told I have had way better Middle Eastern food. You can tell that they are trying and they make the effort to please the customer, but the food that comes out is just o.k. For a date night it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't stellar. Am I single again? Of course I am. Did I have a good time? Absolutely. I wrote this back in January, but never published it till now. Hope you enjoyed reading it. Cheers, and here's to your health

It's got a nice location on the central road in Squirrel Hill, but it's a bit hard to find parking. When I got there, I got to try their shish tawouk (chicken kabob), mujadara, salad with feta, and iced mint tea. The tea was pretty alright. Refreshing and a nice mint flavor; I think they might make the blend in house. They also brought out some nice pita before we started the meal. For my main course, I ordered the shish tawouk. You usually get this meal with the rice pilaf, but they were out, so I got to try the mujadara. I'm actually quite glad! The chicken was tender, and the portion was very fair. They served it with a nice tomato sauce, but I also asked for some garlic sauce on the side. The sauces both seem to be homemade, and definitely go well with the chicken. The mujadara was surprisingly delicious. They top the dish with crispy sweet onions. It's a mix of lentils and some other grain. Very good! One thing to mention generally is this place closes quite early, usually around 8 or 8:30 PM, so do keep it in mind. It is also very clearly a family endeavor, with the mom managing most of the tables and the kids always helping out. Very nice place!
