Update: 03/08=2024- I'm very selective and can be a challenge to please. I can give this place a 5 star now because....I met David, the Top Tier Therapist that I needed. He was cordial, provided some insight about himself, made me extremely comfortable during my massage and because I kept falling asleep...when he was done he simply said Good Morning...made me laugh but mad that my session was over His pressure and technique was perfect for me and one thing he did that I did not get the last time...foot massage. If you are doing a full body the feet just have to go with it. I know who I will choose the next time I go because I'm sure he won't disappoint. I could tell he takes pride in what he does, the service he provides and the professionalism to match. Definitely a model therapist to use to hire others by design!!!! Went in for a massage 3 weeks ago, can I say disappointed. I asked for a hot stone upgrade, I didn't receive it. If you are going to use a person training at least have someone watching over them. On top of that, a masseuse should actually be able to perform a deep tissue massage and not a rub down. In addition, when requested for a Manager to call back, at least follow up. Unauthorized Charges After Membership Cancellation - Euless Location I canceled my Hand & Stone membership in October and did not receive any charges for October, November, or December. In late January, I saw four unauthorized charges from the Euless location all at once. When I contacted the Euless location, I was informed that the new owners were not aware of the previous management's actions. Regardless of ownership changes, the lack of charges for several months clearly indicated that my membership had been canceled. Additionally, it required multiple follow-ups before I received written confirmation that my membership was canceled in the new system. Customers should not have to repeatedly request written verification to resolve an account issue. This situation reflects poor recordkeeping and inadequate oversight of customer accounts. It also appears, based on other reviews, that I am not the only customer who has experienced this issue. I spoke with Clarissa, a manager at this location, and advised that these charges are unauthorized. If a full refund is not issued, I will pursue further action through the appropriate channels. For these reasons, I recommend exercising caution when dealing with this location and monitoring all account transactions closely. read more

Wow...just wow... so the facials are great! But the massages... terrible!! MOST of the massages I've had here have been awful. Twice I almost stopped the massage because it was so bad. Unfortunately I feel too awkward for that and just tolerated it. When I say bad massage, I mean they don't know what they're doing. It's an absent minded rub down like one would get at a nail place. I have a bad back and have been getting massages for many years. I signed up for a membership in hopes of saving money and getting regular massages. Cancelled it because it's a total waste of money. Idk what's going on behind the scenes but this is NOT a place that hires quality LMTs. I told the lady when I canceled my account that the massages are awful, but idk what good that did. I had the great fortune of meeting Susan this afternoon! She brought me into the very well-maintained massage room and asked me my issues. She was very professional and soothing. The massage table was heated and adjustable (neat!). I've had many massages and this was the only one that made me fall asleep! The table was so clean that it didn't set off my allergies (another first). They really do a great job here and take pride in how their business looks. This was my first time visiting this specific Hand and Stone location, and I had an amazing experience! My massage therapist was Susan, and she was so kind the whole time and really helped me work out the specific areas I was experiencing the most pain. I already feel so much relief after just one visit. The space inside is also so clean and relaxing. I also would recommend the enhancement I had today (Himalayan salt and CBD oil) which also made my skin feel so smooth and my muscles relaxed. I have been a long-time member of this location and others of well over 5 years. Just a few months ago around August/September 2025, I made a video for social media where i was praising an esthetician who had done my facial that went locally viral for the incredible work that she did - leading to an increase in clients for this location. Due to a loss of employment and bad car accident, I had used previously acquired packages to pay for this service as I did not have the funds presently. Upon leaving, I froze my account as i had recently lost my job and wouldn't be able to continue services for a while. A few months later in November, I received notification that this location was potentially under new ownership and they had terminated most of their estheticians (including the one that i had raved about online which brought them substantially more customer) in a way that was questionable at best. In addition, when I was calling to check about this, the phones were not working and one day the door was locked during typically opened hours. I went in person the week of November 24th 2025 and signed a cancellation form in-person. Imagine my shock when $80 came out of my account over the weekend in January of 2026. When I called the location to get a refund and also determine how this charge came to be after i cancelled, they claimed to have no record of my cancellation and that they could not refund the amount or cancel my membership without me filling out another form. They stated that I could use the package that the money they wrongfully pulled from my account, but that they could not refund it. I stated that I had no desire to go to this location considering those i would go to see no longer were employed there under very suspicious circumstances and i don't feel comfortable going somewhere that has kept my card on file and claimed to have lost something that I know i completed in person. They said that only corporate could take care of that, but when i asked for corporate's number, it was not received. I do not have an extra $80 lying around for a service i did not want and did not ask for. I have further reached out for a contact to rectify this without receiving it. PLEASE do not go to this location. They clearly are having a variety of issues and do not seem to care about the well-being of their staff or of their customers. I will be reporting to the BBB and am fighting for the refund that I am owed. read more

WONDERFUL. The moment I walked in, the front desk lady was so nice and welcoming. I had a facial with Danielle and it was amazing. She's so sweet, I got super relaxed during my facial that I almost fell asleep. I've had facials before at different spas and sometimes I feel like they're a bit rough while applying the products but she was very gentle and everything felt great. And meantime I checked with the reception about membership-she told me that I will have freedom to cancel it anytime before the membership payday- I won't be charged-no cancellation limit at all. So I signed the membership on November 4th which means my membership day is 4th every month. Just tried to book my first appointment and I was told I had to book online to get the introductory offer. No problem I can do that! I went online and tried to make an account and it forces you to verify your email. I tried multiple times and waited but received no verification email, so I physically cannot book online no matter how hard I try. I called to ask if we could just do it over the phone and was told no. The receptionist seemed more than okay with losing a customer and almost happy that I couldn't get through online.... this was by far the most stressful experience I've had with just trying to book an appointment for a massage and I didn't even get one..... don't even bother calling this place, just take your money elsewhere. read more

This review is not about any services that I received at this location. This review is based on an unfortunate experience I had just trying to purchase two gift cards for birthday gifts. Long story, but suffice it to say, it took three different times/transactions to get it "right", but ultimately it still was not correct. I did finally receive two electronic gift cards, but the information indicating how much the gift card is worth and the personalization that they offered and I requested was missing as well. I will now need to send an additional email to the recipients to explain that information. I am also awaiting and hoping that the two failed transactions get credited to my credit card. Service is hit and miss. If you know who to request you'll be better off. The math for your stored up packages is a mystery.

On March 12th I had a bank notification that I was charged for 80 dollars instead of 60 (membership price) and I called to ask if it was a mistake, they informed me that the prices had changed and they went up. I told them that it was unprofessional to change the prices without notice or letting you know and the response was that they had sent an email informing in general, an email that never arrived and I constantly receive promotional emails from them. The lady informed me that for "general information emails" you have to activate them separately with the first email that they send once you sing up with them, something that is totally ridiculous!! kindly asked them to cancel my membership and give me a refund since the charge was made that same day and I literally called 3-4 hours after the charge. The answer was " to cancel you will need 30 days notice and we do not give any kind of refund. You can freeze your account per a mont and you have to show up in person to the office to sign up and cancel the membership. " Totally unprofessional and ridiculous oh en also they have multiple locations but even if you go to another location and you need to change the card on file they don't take it, you have to come back to the original location we're you signed to do any changes. I had the pleasure of enjoying a massage as a gift for my birthday. I had been to Massage Envy many times, but never Hand and Stone. Of course, these two places are quite similar. Intro $59 for an hour(deep tissue is more), and the high pressure push at the end for a subscription. Of course, I said no to that. The massage itself was wonderful, and was exactly the quality you'd expect at these chain places. Where this stands apart is the staff was exceptional, and the location was wonderful. Simply put - this place is poorly run. I called to make my first appointment and told them I wanted to book an introductory massage. I get there and then was told to get the introductory rate I had to book online. They did honor the rate after all was said and done but not a great experience to start off with. My second appointment I arrived 10 minutes early. After waiting an additional 10 mins past my appointment time, I had to ask if my therapist would be seeing me soon (no one bothered to check in with me as I sat waiting in the lobby), only to be told he never showed up. They told me I would get a free upgrade on my next visit for the inconvenience. I would have preferred not to have wasted my time driving there in the first place. Another thing to note is that the sessions are 10 mins less than advertised so if you get a 90min massage, it's really 80 mins. The 10 mins they subtract is to get undressed. I don't know about you but it doesn't take me 10 mins to get undressed and in a massage table. I mean just be transparent and advertise the actual massage time and let people know what they're really getting. At the end of the day I'd rather give my money to a business that takes pride in how they're run, is transparent about their prices and processes, and is considerate of their clients' time. I originally signed up for the membership because of how awesome the massage therapist was but will be canceling after this last experience. read more

Cancelling a membership isn't easy but was I finally able to do just that 10 months ago. Unfortunately, either a system error or an employee mistake inadvertently opened a new membership under my name and I was charged for three months all at once. I've spoken to the assistant manager (Ruby), the store manager (Dani Delgado) and the regional manager (Robert Rodriguez) over a period of four weeks with little response and no resolution. Their limited customer service latitude allowed them to refund a single month but during that conversation I was made aware that they weren't confident this wouldn't happen to me again. J'cynda provided an excellent facial. She was detailed and thorough! I never felt pressured to buy extra like often happens at establishments like this. Unfortunately I think this location is too far from me, but I would gladly become a member if it were a little closer. My only note to the management would be to invest a little more into the quality of the sheets used! That can make a big difference in the experience, and I felt that was lacking. When i arrived, there was no one at the front desk and i had to wait almost ten minutes for someone to come to the front. Once there, they could not find my reservation despite my confirmation email. I also showed them my coupon from one of their emails saying "come back! We miss you! Get a massage for the introductory price by showing this email". Turns out, despite the claims of their Glades Park location-specific email, they would NOT honor the price unless you signed up for a membership. This was stated nowhere in the email. I have been a loyal customer here for years now. I have had many great massage therapists. However people do not seem to stay that long, which makes finding another therapist you like over and over again very frustrating. As of late, I have been constantly cancelled on last minute. After the 6th or 7th time of being cancelled on in a month or so, I told them I would be transferring to another facility. I was told only "you're welcome to do that." No "We're sorry or we'd like to make things right." The continual turnover of the front office staff, massage therapists and esthetician has definitely affected my opinion of this facility, and I will not be visiting here in the future unless someone reaches out to make things right. read more

The worst experience I've had at any Hand and Stone location. I tried booking online for a massage with a male therapist for 7pm, while I was booking, my page refreshed and the time slot was no longer available. I called and asked if the time was still open, they said it was not, but they had a 6pm slot available with a female therapist, which I politely declined. I refreshed the page one more time, and the original booking was showing once again, so I booked that for 7pm with a male therapist. A few minutes after booking, I received a call asking if I could come in the next day instead, I could not. They asked if I could come in at 6pm instead because the therapist I booked with wanted to go home. I asked if it would be a male therapist, they said no. They stated the female therapist had deep/hard pressure to try to convince me to change times. I asked if my original booking was available at all, and again they stated the therapist wanted to go home. I stated that I would prefer to keep my time/booking that I had selected, but if there was absolutely no other option I would come at 6pm instead. Apparently that was me "accepting," and they said they would see me at 6pm. I let them know I was roughly 20 minutes away from the location, which would put my arrival around 6:10pm. They stated that was fine, I would still have the hour long appointment and they would upgrade me for the trouble of switching times. I pulled in at 6:15pm, checked in at the desk, and the receptionist said my upgrade would be a scalp massage. I asked if there was another option since I'm not a fan of my head being touched, she stated hot stones would be the other option, which I accepted. The therapist (Lena?) took me to the room and asked which areas I would like to focus on since we had a shorter time than normal. I told her that I was assured over the phone that the appointment would still be the regular length. She stated she would need to stay late if that were the case, and that she couldn't do the standard time length. She then told me to stop wasting time since I was already late. I explained that my original appointment was at 7pm, and I was asked to come earlier. I told her I would rather wait until 7pm for my original time if it was going to be a hassle, she told me the therapist I had booked with already left for the day. I told her I would cancel and return to another location on a different day if that were the case. She went to the desk to confirm with the receptionist what we had spoken about on the phone, then returned to let me know she could do the standard length. She stated she would do a scalp massage as the upgrade, and I let her know I had already spoken with the receptionist and was told the hot stones would be an option. She stated the machine was already unplugged and that it would take forever to heat up, even though the receptionist told me it would only be a few minutes. I told her that I was just going to cancel and go to another location on a different day due to the mess. Lena was incredibly rude during the encounter and made it seem like I was wasting her time, when I did not want to change bookings in the first place. I'm a Hand and Stone member, so it's a little crazy to me that I would experience this type of treatment and unprofessionalism. I'll be booking at other locations in the future. read more
