My mom and I go here at least twice a month, and every time the service is excellent. They are always so nice and make sure our ice cream is packed with a lot of mix-ins. They remember our orders too since we go in so often. We wanted to get the ice cream cupcakes for my twin nieces' birthday, but one of the workers told us they no longer offer those. Marble Slab Creamery has some of the best ice cream in Arlington. We stop by here when we are in the mood for some tasty treats. My favorite is the sweet cream with Reece peanut butter cup mixed in. I stick with my favorite every time but I will take little samples of the other flavors of ice cream. They have a lot of goodies to mix into the ice cream. It can be hard to pick. The service is pretty good. The serving of ice cream is a good size for a single scoop. The price is a little steep. But it is worth the price. read more

Sweet cream + butterfinger . That is the first combination I chose when I was 8 and it's still my favorite. The ice cream here is so rich and creamy you know you're getting the good stuff when you buy a scoop here. My only gripe about this place is their pricing. We came here for my birthday dessert for the first time, and let me tell you it didn't disappoint at all. I had been craving a good, ice cream waffle cone deal for a while and since it was the middle of summer, nothing could beat that, am I right? I ended up having a cinnamon vanilla with chopped off strawberries. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!! It was the perfect ending to a great day and I also had a 10% off coupon from the back of my Kroger receipt that helped. If you love ice cream, you gotta try this place and I hear it's been around for a while, they are doing all the great things. The girl who took my order was grabbing my ice cream while her fingers dug through the ice cream.......then she proceeded to grab the waffle bowl with her bare hands and slam the ice cream inside right after scratching her eyes. This place is really good. I love the different flavors and the cakes. My family and I have been going to this place for over a decade. The service is good and it's a must visit when it comes to cooling down in the summer or anytime. My favorite flavor has to be chocolate amaretto. This is just about as good as ice cream can get. I love the Sweet Cream & Heath bar. I've tried a few of the other flavors of ice cream but always get the sweet cream. The service is always friendly and prompt. The only thing that is not great here is the price. They are on the pricy side. I've said this before and I'll say it again, in the words of my Great Aunt Pearl, "that was the best nickel worth of ice cream I ever paid a quarter for." I'm pretty sure there are non-Marble Slab standard ingredients used at this location. We love Marble Slab and go fairly often to our fave locations. This was the one we were closest to at the time, so we decided to chance it; I wish we hadn't. We got our usuals in white chocolate waffle bowls. The bowl didn't look the same as what we usually get; the white chocolate was beige and the bowl was skimpily dipped, plus it didn't taste good! It tasted like sweet wax smh. The ice cream was also very, very bland tasting and not at all what we're accustomed to. I chose sweet cream and it had zero taste and my husband's cinnamon vanilla was sans flavor. They're also stingy with the toppings! It was just a disappointing experience and we certainly will never go back. read more

I went to this location to use a birthday coupon for my daughter.One was for a free ice cream cone and the other was for a free smoothie. I presented the coupon and the nice young man at the counter proceeds to make a "single dip" ice cream cone. I was also going to buy her birthday cake there also. A hateful Asian woman (appeared to be owner or manager of store) comes over and snatches the coupon out of my daughter's hand and says "Let me see that!" She looks at the coupon and says " These are expired". Yes, one expired a day ago and the other didn't expire until the end of the month. I explained to her that I worked late and one expired a day ago so I ufortunately didn't make it to the store until today. She then says " Well, I can't give the cone". I explained to her that I was making a purchase did it really matter over something so trivial? She wouldn't budge. The nice young man at the counter apologized for his manger and offered to buy my daughter a cone. I thanked him and said no, you shouldn't have to do that. Amazing, this young man had more decency than his manager. How could you be so rude and nasty to a kid on their birthday? Then she says, "Well I'll go ahead and do the smoothie, but not the cone." WTF? Why would you fight me over a date for a dollar cone to give a smoothie which costs way more? And I was buying a cake on top of that. Sorry, but it's not like I was walking in asking for a ton of crap for free. What difference does a day really make? What could possibly happen?The tiny cone was not going to run her out of business. When you treat customers like crap, you will loose in the end. To be fair, I have gone to other Marble Slabs and got good service. But this one sucks. I will never step foot in this one again. I left here and went right over to Baskin Robbins on Cooper and got top notch service and at a cheaper price. Marble Slab, you're no Cold Stone, that's for sure. read more

I go here all the time but recently today I ordered a simple malt and a strawberry ice cream in a waffle cup and neither was done correctly. When the strawberry ice cream was being prepared, the worker dropped it on the counter and continued to prepare it and served me with it. And when I received the "malt", it was not even a malt. I was drinking extremely liquify ice cream with malt powder still present throughout the whole cup. I will probably return back here but never again will I want that worker to serve me. read more
