Truly don't know why places charges $10- $15 to remove gel as they don't use any additional products just fill off the older color and it's faster than doing a soak off. I brought my own polish for my toes- as I hate the $10 up charge for gel which again- saves them time because you cure them and not wait for the polish to dry.

But then I met Amy, who was incredible and I would schedule directly with her so it worked well. But then she went on vacation and never came back. So I started seeing Chloe, who was also great. But same thing... vacation, never came back. Then Vincent... then Tiffany... not sure what this pattern means but either way... I'm writing the review because I called today for an appointment and set it up. I arrived on time and it was like I had never called. 40 minutes later, everyone is still busy and not able to take me. My issue is, they never should have made the appointment. If they knew they were understaffed or running behind, they could've told me. So, I'll be moving on to a new salon. They continuously grind away at the natural nail until raw and painful nail bed before applying several coats of dip to replace the nail they just eradicated. Unskilled filing left cracks up the nails that came up very painfully. I say "they" because the appointment was always with Cecilia but the owner/husband would always grind and file before she grinned and filed some more. Nails were always overworked, sore and raw before first brush. And the man was always a bit too pushy and touchy for my taste. I was uncomfortable since day one; and asked him to stop touching my arm/shoulder. Im sure it's innocent but not professional. We have had to rest & take care of our nails at home because of how painful all the cracks and lack of nail bed have been. Never going back!

I was immediately seated and don't even have to tell Tina what to do. It usually takes her about 10 to 15 minuted to fix me up. Today it was a rainy day so she had a little more time than usual to socialize. Ladies, I am an easy haircut but I have seen some of the things Tina has done for the women that come in here. I am a very BLUNT individual and have no problem pointing out an unflattering hair style. I have yet to have seen her do a bad job on any of the women I see coming in and out of the shop during MY time in the chair. I have also had a Mani/Pedi there and when I have time, Tina treats me right. Gentleman, I am not the only guy that goes there for a trim. There is a barber in the same strip plaza but I always come here. She does a great job, is very quick, extremely personable and there are always some pretty women coming in and out. Once in a while I treat myself to a Mani/Pedi and nothing is more relaxing than being pampered by the ladies...
