The woman did not do the type i requested, the new nails started 1/8" away from my cuticle, and they were so thick, especially at the part closest to the cuticle it looked like my nails were bubbles. After one of my pathetic nails broke off this morning, I went to Honeycoat Nail Salon who I had always heard great things about, and where I previously had a very nice pedi. Lucy greeted me, was very professional and accommodating, and went right to work. After looking more closely at my nails it was decided they needed to be fully removed as they were already lifting among the many other issues. Truly don't know why places charges $10- $15 to remove gel as they don't use any additional products just fill off the older color and it's faster than doing a soak off. I brought my own polish for my toes- as I hate the $10 up charge for gel which again- saves them time because you cure them and not wait for the polish to dry.
