When I called Puroclean to assess the water damage in our upstairs bathroom, Marco got back to me that day, and he and Beau came out two days later to give us an estimate. I wasn't even sure where the water was coming from, so they used moisture mapping to track the leak down to the wall behind the sink. But when they removed the drywall a few days later, they found the plumbing intact. So they resumed Operation Leak Hunt, and further investigation proved that the pipes were not at fault. It was revealed that, although the water took a deceptively circuitous route to reach its destination, the culprit was actually the roof. As it turns out, the Texas weather has battered our roof past the point of repair, and it will have to be replaced entirely. I don't think it's much of a stretch to say that, without Puroclean's diligence, our bill for water damages could have literally gone through the roof. With the mystery leak solved, the restoration just proceeded so smoothly, it was like watching a well-oiled machine. All we had to worry about was choosing our new vanity, flooring, etc. They kept me updated every day, and I never had trouble getting in touch with them. Ther are many, many other things I could mention. The project took over eight months instead of the four promised, with work gaps of days and sometimes weeks. I met with the PM three times to create a timeline, but they fell behind every time. The only reason he gave was schedule conflicts with other jobs. One positive: Guillermo and Jose were responsive and fully guaranteed their work. They made sure I was satisfied with the end product before ending the project.

I became suspicious and asked them to measure the moisturizer on an area that I know didn't flood. There meter still pegged out high. I fired them on the spot. They are still trying to collect over $3000 after I fired them.
