Called the day before and had an appt for 12:30, showed up and the guy didn't recall making one with me. I was seated anyway. Maybe the other barbers are good -- like the other bad reviews, mine was also with the white guy that has dreads. My fade wasn't blended at all and my beard was uneven. Had to go get it all buzzed off since it was f*cked up. Probably one of the worst hair cuts I've gotten in awhile. Really wanted to like this place since they're close. read more

It's crazy in this city at the # of stylists, barbers, nail techs & makeup artists yet it's so hard to find really good ones who truly know what they're doing. I had a hard time w/my own hair & nails (finding that perfect person/business) so it was no different w/my son. This place is amazing, clean, friendly & will do their best to get you in the day you call! Both of the Barbers are professional, kind & talented. One cut my son's hair while the other dyed it back to his natural coloring. My kid is in the LAPD cadet program for high school & he needed his hair a certain way & they told me to just come back if it wasn't quite what they wanted. My kid went to school only to figure out he needed it a little shorter (ugh, picky LOL) so when we brought him back they thinned it out/shortened it a little more for FREE! They refused to charge me but I most definitely left them a tip! These guys are awesome & the girl that answers the phone/books appointments is just as kind. I wanted to write this review due to some of the negative ones I read here. I can't imagine any of them being as rude as certain ppl describe here among other reviews. read more
