I paid the top choice: Ultimate Exterior Detail which included buffing. It was well worth the price. These guys buffed out scratches on my doors. Cleaned and polished dashboard and car components like stick shift, doors, trunk. They answered my questions and fulfilled my requests. At some point, I was given a car wash card. I will definitely return and get my card punched again to get a FREE regular machine wash. Added Touch: -I gave them 5 stars because they went above and beyond in the service I paid. These guys also buffed out my yellow looking headlights. This added touch really gave my used 2013 car a new fresh look. -Also, they cleaned my engine. Who knew that was a thing! Been coming for years. Absurd, ridiculous experience about 45 minutes ago, Sunday. You have an employee who likes to talk. Oh, not with a customer, but with ALL your staff. He spoke with no less than 5 people instead of tending to my vehicle. I was sitting 3 feet away. He walked off twice, one time staying between two other cars and chatting up a storm. At one point, he moved off to have a louder, lightly heated chat with another employee. I wondered if I should say something. No, I would wait. FYI, he felt only one half of the inside windshield was in need of a spray. He did not open any of the back doors and he avoided anything related to the wheels. If it matters, he had a moustache, was perhaps 55-65, wore a hat, medium build and average height. Well, you know him, he talks to everyone who comes within earshot. This really was a joke! P.S. He took his time getting to the car after it was parked and had all the rags and stuff waiting. I like to chat, too, but not at work when I have a job to do and the customer is waiting!! P.S. I went to handy j last Friday and it was not good. I'll caveat by saying I've been a customer here for nearly 20 years but this was the last straw. First, as usual, pushy salesperson upsells to get some specific wash. This isn't new but has gotten more aggressive recently. Second, they knocked my seat button off my car and it was sucked up in a vacuum. Thankfully I had to adjust my seat before driving and realized it was missing. It took them 10 minutes but they did find it in a vacuum. Fine. Last, my partner gets in the car in the passenger seat and SITS ON A RAZOR BLADE. The person who dried my car must have dropped it out of their pocket. I get a need for a razor to peel things off a car but this cannot happen. We have small children. What if that happened in the back seat? Sorry handy. You've officially lost a customer over this. read more

But I did pay for it to be vaccumed and I could've done a better job at home. Absolutely not, never again. I brought my car in for a hand wash, since they are very close to home (as in, I can walk home.) The guy was nice...but beyond that, nope. When I picked up my car, there was still crap all over the windows, huge spots that had been missed...and worst of all THEY SCRATCHED UP MY REAR BUMPER. I'm meticulous about my car. My front bumper currently is in works with a claim, as someone backed into me. However, my back had NOTHING on it, when I brought it in. It now has a HUGE red scratch. Lovely. read more

I love coming here especially because of the fact that "Outdoor Grill" is on-site . The prices here on the oil change car wash has tripled in the last 2.5 years. This rat poop is the final straw. Never again. Oil change will not do anything besides your oil change (no tire rotation, no other fluid top off). The Handy J was, at one time, a good car wash, but it is definitely no longer. This is what they no longer seem to do: 1. Smile 2. Don't vacuum/clean under the floor mats 3. Miss spots on the window and doors 4. Use poor-quality towels that leave a great deal of red lint on the windows When I arrived home on this occasion, I decided to reclean the windows (interior/exterior) and doors. This place needs to be shut down or at least one of the employee needs to be fired at least. I came today 06/07/25 with my minivan to get my car washed and tried to clean a lot of the garbage left from my kids and this guy came to me and start telling me that I have to move my "piece of shit" out of there because I am holding the line. Than he start calling me names that I will skip here just because I am no comfortable saying it. At the end he wanted to kick me out of the Carwash claiming he is the manager/owner. I paid $40 for the executive wash and they didn't use any type of cleaning product for my interior. I read the sign more carefully after I realize this and it said they "dust off interior. So my leather still looks dingy. I usually will wash my car myself at the self service car wash And manage to vacuum the interior in the time it takes to run through about a dollar worth of quarters and I do a better vacuuming job than this place. They used to be really great here. Really great customer service but it must've changed ownership and it totally sucks now. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. Wow the reviews are brutal. I've been here many times and Handy J is actually my preferred local car wash. I just order the basic exterior and interior cleaning, and I'm usually satisfied. My car is cleaned well, and there are never any glaring water spots. They are a bit pushy on upselling you on a whole bunch of upgrades and services; however, I always just smile and say no. There is limited shaded seating, so wouldn't recommend coming in on a super hot day or you'll be scorching in the sun. But there is a cafe nearby that you can go to for AC. read more

Yeah, I don't think so. Please let this be a warning if you want a "professional detail" and are thinking about going here. I came this morning saying : last time I payed $50 and my car was still dirty inside, how much can I pay to have a clean car? This scammer guy whose name is Ahmed first said: $100 and then he changed to $150 and he said: if you don't like it you don't have to pay $150. I was desperate for a clean car so I agreed, I came a few hours later and I'm not kidding: the car was clean inside but was DIRTY in the outside...I was like "are you kidding me, I'm not paying $150 for a car that is dirty in the outside, you didn't clean my car" the guy then starts to convince me that the car has scratches where was actually DIRTY and the he says while grabbing my car keys: I'm only giving your key after you pay, I felt so angry, tried to grab the car keys from him and he said : I'll call the police and then I said: I'm the one calling the police! I called the police but it took a while for them to show up, while I was waiting a few guys started to FINALLY clean the outside of my car, after a few minutes waiting I realized my kid would be late for her medical appointment so I had get my car key back, the police officers told me to report to Better Business Bureau and that's my next step.
