Job was for baseboard and toe kick replacement and installation after water damage. BE CAREFUL! They don't provide a QUOTE but just an ESTIMATE. Get the difference? The price can go UP. And they DON'T come out ahead of time to see the job. How can you get a good ESTIMATE...by what I tell them in an email? Very slick but cheesy as far as my experience goes. I cancelled after they ESTIMATED $898 for a job addition I got done perfectly for $300! All in all, they ESTIMATED $2,400 for all the work and I got it done EXTREMELY QUICKLY and PERFECTLY for $1,200!!! I hired this company for what I thought was a simple job. Installing three sets of mirrored closet doors. We had recently installed brand new carpets, and we take care of our home and don't allow shoes inside, period. That includes my 68 year old mother and 70 year old father. My wife was home for the install and asked the two workers to wear shoe covers. They seemed unhappy about the request, but gave in. However, she caught them without booties on the brand new carpet. I then called the office since I was at work and told the office. They assured me it wouldn't happen again. Since my blood pressure had just gone up, I checked my ring camera and saw one of the workers walk outside with his show covers on. He then walked back in, with the same shoe covers on. Shocker. I then returned home from work to inspect the job. The job was done sloppy. The cuts on the closet rail track were sloppy and they did not sand them down to be smooth. Damage was done to several of the doors. If I wanted it to look like it did I would have just done it myself. The owner, Adam, went to my home the next day to inspect the work. My wife was home, and showed him the damage. Adam was understanding, however, he did make the excuse that " the doors might have been damaged already from Home Depot". The problem with that excuse is his employees still would have installed damaged doors. I find it hard to believe all three doors had damage from Home Depot. At this point, he is coming back to redo the work. I Think the lesson here is do the job right the first time, and if the customer wants you to wear foot protection you do it. Period. Having been in our home, for just over a year, the dust has settled, so to speak and little projects keep popping up here and there that aren't a DIY for my boyfriend and I. In literally every case they make a completely half-hearted attempt to understand my project, quote a ridiculously high and irrelevant estimate, and then go silent on you when you try to clarify your need or ask for them to come provide an in-person estimate. The first lady I spoke to got my contact information and a description of the work needed and told me I would be contacted shortly. This lady seemed more knowledgable about the services offered and told me they could handle the job and would get back to me later that day or the next day at the latest.
