We used their services about 2 years ago after we and our neighbor did an exhaustive search for fence installations. They were competitive with pricing, used grade A materials and the workers were the absolute best! They arrived on time each day and cleaned up after they left. They installed the fence for my backyard on both sides, along with a new door. They added post so that we could add solar caps and increased the height of the fence from 6 to 8 feet for added neighbor privacy. They took care of EVERYTHING PERFECTLY!!! They even came put a few weeks later just to check and see if all was well with the fence work. Our fence remains as gorgeous as it was when first installed and we have had absolutely no issues with craftsmanship, the fence or their work...at all! Our fence is still beautiful and has held up over the last two winter's "hurricane" like winds lol!!! I now want to install a privacy redwood trellis and have it attached to the top of the backyard brick wall and guess who just reached out to?!!!!! Yep, Straightline!!!!

Scott came out quickly to understand the project and our needs and provided us with a competitive quote. Our project was a hogwire fence around the parameter of our front yard, which included a gate that bridge the gap between the new fence and the side of our house. He quoted me the same day he came out, and once the quote was signed, he had his team out here within a week. The workers were prompt, professional, friendly, and worked fast. They finished in half a day and cleaned up afterwards, which was nice. The final result was fantastic, much better than I imagined, and all of our neighbors came out to compliment us on the fence. The entire 24-foot fence project took just over four hours. We had received another quote from a handyman that was significantly higher and did not include a warranty. G & G Deck & Fence's pricing was very reasonable, and the fact that their work is backed by a warranty gave us added confidence. Insanity…read morethat I was going to let these guys swap out my aluminum posts for iron posts that wouldn't even match my gate. So I ask again, what are these guys experts at? Initial experience was bad. Sales guy came, was short with me, seems uninterested. Promised to give a quote. Waited 4 days. Didn't get a reply. I wrote a bad review and moved on. Owner contacted me asking me to remove the review and he can help me out with my gate job. I needed someone to help fix a botched gate install job so agreed. The job was to remove two existing posts and replace it with new steel posts. The price quoted for TWO posts were not cheap. He seems to think he's doing me favor for labor only but it was not cheap. It cost the same amount as the full job by the other company for the full install. I'm OK with it because at that point I wanted a job to be done by someone who knows how to do the work. Of course, I found out the reason they're expensive because they SUBCONTRACT to another company that specializes in gates. Are they the expert or is the subcontractor the expert? Nevertheless, I waited a week and a half for the scheduled date. The night before, he text me and ask if I have two steel posts that they need. They quoted me a very high amount to fix two posts but does not provide the materials for the fix. These guys are supposed to be experts in STEEL gates but do not have the materials for STEEL. So what are they experts in? Subcontracting? Reselling gate install service? What irritates me is that he sprung this on me at the last moment the day before. Our conversation was that the quoted price includes labor and materials to fix except for the extra materials that are needed that are ALUMINUM which I purchased. The fact that he asked me to provide STEEL materials at the last possible moment was maybe because (a) he misquoted me or (b) the subcontractors wanted more money to do the work. In any case, I cancelled the job. I cannot trust a company that bait and switch. If you misquote, then you own the difference, not spring it on your customer at the last moment.

Hennessy's called them one day prior to the scheduled date and said they're ahead of schedule if they'd like them to come a day early. Great news !!! They were kind, fast and efficient.
