Norm (the owner) called me back within 5 minutes of me leaving a message on their machine. A quick call back is very rare, having a friendly person call you back is even more rare! Norm's employee, David came out today, he was also very nice and professional. He was friendly to my curious dogs too! David was honest and told me the dishwasher wasn't worth repairing since the cost for the part cost almost as much as a new dishwasher. Bergerons doesn't sell appliances, but David gave me a couple of really helpful tips for buying a new dishwasher. I put his good advise to use tonight and purchased a new one. *If they sold appliances, I would absolutely purchase from them* After two years of using Bergerons, I'm happy to say that the great service, and honesty is still very much part of their work. Every other repair person/plumber/contractor I have used cleans up after themselves. It's just professional. For what this person charged they cannot even take trash from the repair with them?! Akexxia was also rude and used threatening language to me in my own home when I was not wearing a facemask due to a small cough that was a cold and NOT covid. Less than two weeks later the dishwasher clogged again with the same problem. I called a different repair service and they were much more polite and also told me that it looked like Alexxia had done shoddy work "fixing" it the first time. When I told them what she charged they told me she charged way too much and that I was probably double billed. I have called Alexxia back several times requesting a full refund as she overcharged and did not actually do the job she was hired to do. She has not responded and I have called my bank to see if they can recoup my stolen money. If you want home repairs done right, do not hire Alexxia!

I would STAY AWAY from this service provider all together. The owner put me on a "no service…read morelist"....more on this below. The owner does service calls and performed a trouble shoot on my refrigerator about a month ago. He suggested that the fan motor needed replacement, but to defrost first and he would return to fix. Once defrosted; the refrigerator (and fan) worked fine. I called to cancel the follow-up at which point he indicated that the part had already been ordered. I ask that he return the part and offered to pay the restocking fee...which he decline to take and said was fine. I did pay them for the initial service call. Fast forward a month and I called the business out to perform another repair..at which point I received a call at 9:30pm the night before my scheduled appointment to inform me that because of the previous interaction that I am now on the "no service list". I offered to pay for the restocking fee again, informed him that if there was a loss of revenue due to any time commitment that I would offer this as well and had no idea that he felt so strongly about this (which TBH felt like over and above then what I needed to at this point). I contacted the office the next day...found out he was the owner...and the while the receptionist seemed to feel for my situation, informed me that he was the owner and can do what he wants. True....but not very customer oriented...I would be very careful about dealing with this company...it seems that if your repair situation changes that you will be blacklisted. Good luck!
