Fun, casual spot with both outdoor and some indoor seating boasting an outpost of Carruth Cellars, Tipping Pint Brewing as well as a wood fired pizza spot. They have live music most weekends and are dog friendly. We come here ALOT. It can get pretty popular especially outside during good weather. Be weary as some people try to claim multiple tables for events like baby birthdays without reserving space so especially on weekends in good weather you could be shut out of seating.

Great place to bring your dogs if you like to do that. We don't have dogs but they are here often. They're very catering to dogs and have water bowls throughout. I even saw a man bring his cat. Now that was cool. And yes, l did ask to pet her. I first became acquainted with this place from going to a book club meet up here. They have so many differing options for seating. From high top tables to picnic tables to leather couches. There is also bar top seating, too. While l wouldn't say it's great for kids, it's not bad as their outdoor patio has a lot of space for them. I have eaten here probably around 6 times. If we still lived in Oceanside, l would go probably weekly. So every time l have been it's been an hour's drive but we make it a point to eat here often when we're in the area because the food is so good. Their pizza is probably the best l have had on the west coast. Their garlic cheese rolls are melt-in-your-mouth fabulous! They use the same dough for both and for their s'mores dessert, which is also delicious! I had the jalapeño pasta and while it was good, l wish it was creamier. It was sadly a little bland, but that's fine, l will forever be a loyal fan of their pizza, s'mores, and bread rolls. Often, they run out of items so it's best to get there as early as possible because l don't think l was able to try their brussels sprouts until maybe my 4th trip. It's not super cheap but for the quality, l don't mind at all. It's quickly become one of my top 3 favorite restaurants (regardless of distance or location) ever. I hope they consider opening one in the Murrieta/Temecula area since they do have wineries there as well. I mean, any reason to be able to eat their yummy foods more often works well for me! It's a super casual place where you go to the pizza oven area to order food and pay and they hand you a pager. You grab utensils and plates there as well. They also have a still and sparkling water dispenser near their wine pouring and tasting area. This place has three companies in one: Tipping Pint Brewery, Carruth Cellars wine, and Hangar 76 Pizza. I had an awesome glass of wine but since it was my husband's and he ordered it and can't remember the name, nor could l find a wine menu online, we'll just have to go with the $20/glass cabernet that they said they often run out of or isn't often on the menu. It was honestly one of the best reds l have had in a long time.

Hangar 76 is a great spot with a really good ambience. The place is clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, and they have a lot to choose from. Their beer selection is impressive with plenty of options, and they also have a solid wine selection if beer isn't your thing. Definitely a nice place to hang out.

I've driven by here nearly weekly and finally had the chance to stop in. One place with both a wine tasting room and a beer tasting room.. it's fun to try both! We met up with some friends here for the first time and it was nice to have one venue for different palates. There was a nice amount of seating both inside and out. It's also kid friendly, just bring enough activities to keep your kids entertained. They had a food truck there on the weekend that had one vegan option. Otherwise, bring your own snacks and food because who knows what type of food truck will be there. We definitely plan to return.

The food was burned, visually unappealing. Wait staff completely absent when not chatting with personal friends. Kids said burnt pizza "was not terrible but can we not come back." The bill was very expensive for terrible food. Very disappointing birthday dinner. Try another place when wanting a good meal.

I'm feeling all the beer & wine I drank yesterday afternoon as I write this, but still already wanting to return. Their outdoor area is perfect for families, we were able to grab a table for our large group and have the kids at their own for a bit. Spread out, afternoon sunshine, picnic tables, umbrellas & games for kids. Beer & wine Pizza Beautiful space inside as well Outdoor games Indoor board/card games Band was playing Saturday afternoon We loved spending the afternoon here yesterday and so did the littles. My family is very grateful to the staff at Hangar 76, especially Morgan. We had a very hard time finding a venue for a funeral reception due to time constraints. It was a huge relief to find this place. The food was excellent (and we very much appreciate the flexibility to order more during the event), and we heard nothing but praise for the wine and beer selection. We love the huge indoor and outdoor space so we can enjoy beer and wine with kids in tow, rain or shine. We are members of carruth and love their wine including reds and whites. The beer is less of a draw for us but is a nice option for other people who join us and prefer it to wine. The outside food vendor is a bit of a disappointment so I wish there were other food options for sale. There's limited stuff nearby so if you dont bring your own (which they allow) you are stuck with the pizza. I prefer a healthier food option and/or gluten free crust which they have neither and one time, they ran out of pizza dough so only half the group was able to get food which was awkward (it was not late in the day.) read more

They have indoor seating to enjoy beer and wine. Also, a Great family oriented outdoor space to listen to live music. On the Sunday I went, there were many families with small children enjoying the music and pizza made with the outdoor pizza oven. Dog friendly as well! read more

This place is always fun and I'm SO ecstatic it's so close to my house! The space is indoor/outdoor and is HUGE! It's a LOT nicer than the other tasting rooms around and very spacious. There's usually a fire going at night. There's great ambience and plenty of street parking. On weekends you can normally find a great food truck or two and live music. The beers are all great and you can get a flight to figure out what you want a full pour of. The wines are great too! I recommend their wine flights to figure out what you want because the wine can be a little bit on the pricier side if you're not a Carruth Cellar Wine Club member. I am a HUGE fan of their GSM red wine. Great vibe. Super local and away from traffic for a large part of Oside residents. read more

Everything about this place is super chill. Came here on Friday September 15th. Had a party of almost 20 ppl to celebrate my husband's birthday. The brewery side was happy to store my cake in the walk in, and everyone really liked the craft beer. The wine was delicious, we had chardonnay and red blend. We had such a big group we put two big tables together and they were happy to help us to do so. Place was clean, lots of room to sit both inside and outside. What I liked most was it was a place for everyone, family's , singles , couples , parties. Everything meshes well there. Gaby's tacos was the food of the night and the food was hot and delicious. We will definitely be going back and recommending this place to others! read more

Nice, friendly staff. Great idea to offer both beer tasting and wine bar. Great selection of beers. Loved the hazy IPA... Pizza was decent. Light and toasty crust. Could use more shade outside but this may improve as the shrubs grow taller. Nice that there was the option for indoor or outdoor seating if the band is a bit loud to have conversation. This establishment was super family friendly and dog friendly. The selection of beers was limited but what you would expect from a microbrewery. We also had a flight of wine, however, the experience with the wine server wasn't very pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed the live entertainment this Saturday (Kenny and Tara) and so did the crowd. Really enjoyed the music from start to finish even being a millennial because I grew up on this music from my parents...but apparently the wine server was also the site manager and is NOT A HUGGER and DID NOT LIKE THE MUSIC. She really needs to chill because they were reading the crowd and the crowd had a great time. Beer servers were phenomenal, friendly, and warm. Would come back for them and the entertainment only. New management or an attitude check needed for sure. This is not Oceanside vibes as far as I know. read more

Absolutely amazing spot! This hidden gem has the best wine, beer, and pizza. Home of Carruth Cellars and Tipping Pint Brewery. Their casual environment, friendly staff, and delicious pizza make this the best hangout spot. The atmosphere is great with live music in the evening. I love Caruth Cellars wine and they have beer as well. The first time we were here they had an amazing taco truck and fresh hamburgers on the grill. Come in the afternoon and stay into evening to enjoy. read more

Beautiful on the inside and out.. very family friendly.. but, they want $18 for a glass of wine for a brand that I don't even recognize the area surrounding has a large homeless population and the parking is off the street. I would not feel safe walking there alone at night.. read more

These guys just had their grand opening the weekend of 4-2-22. The atmosphere is a pretty good, but not enough seating outdoors. The selection of beers was only 5, which is kinda weak. The wine, however, was ridiculously expensive at $15 for not even a full glass. Though okay, I just don't think it was $15 a half glass good. I can't afford to go back. read more

Went here early on a Saturday night, 7:30 PM, practically no one was there. Maybe because it was a chilly night and the manager on duty neglected to light the fire pit and the propane heaters. Not only would this have helped, but it would've added to the ambience of an extremely cold atmosphere. Seating was sparse and spread far apart, wine was really expensive, beer wasn't very cold, we are expecting much better since this was a great concept of having a winery and a brewery under the same roof. Looks like the owners made it 75% and then just gave up with the details. Too bad read more

They don't serve food, but there are plenty of restaurants near by where you can order food to bring in with you. They did sell little charcuterie boards and snacks though, which was nice to see. The outdoor patio was so cozy with ambient string lights and plenty of seating. Definitely a great place to have a drink and listen to some live music. I only had the beer, so I can't say anything about food other than they do have food available. The beer alone is a reason to visit. I had two different IPAs. One Triple IPA brewed in collaboration with North Park and Brujos. Then I also had a Cold IPA brewed from a recipe provided by a Japanese brewery. Both were very unique options. Beer to-go is only available in four packs. You can't buy singles nor mix and match.

We recently had the chance to play at The Hangar 76 and it was an absolute blast from start to finish. From a band's point of view, this place checks all the boxes. The staff was welcoming, organized, and easy to work with -- which makes a huge difference when you're loading in, setting up, and getting ready to put on a great show. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt genuinely appreciated. The crowd energy was incredible. People were dancing, singing along, and fully engaged all night. There's something special about a venue where the audience shows up ready to have a good time, and Hangar 76 definitely delivers on that. Great atmosphere, great drinks, and a team that supports live music the right way. We'd be thrilled to play here again anytime. I got assaulted by an older man at this establishment, and he was protected by the staff. An older woman who was clearly a regular at the wine bar judged me for what I was wearing and asked me if I was a member of the wine bar. She proceeded to call me & my friend pedophiles for dancing with children and THEIR PARENTS, (me and my friend are both women in our mid 20's). This escalated to me being assaulted by an adult male. He shoved me and his wife proceeded to scream in my face, all while their "minor" daughter was being served alcohol by this establishment. Law enforcement was involved. Would NOT recommend. read more
