The taste of food was great. The gravy could have used more sausage. The bottom of the biscuits was overdone. The service was slow but they were very busy. The bottom line: If I'm ever in Hemit at breakfast time again I will stop by. No pictures because we were almost done before I thought about it. Half empty plates wouldn't have done them justice.

Service is highly personal and cheerful--very quick--like if you just had a blood test across the street and need breakfast---QUICK!!! The theme is air force airport with hanging model planes and riveted metal borders along the walls. Super cute! All the old guys seem like they have their own plane in the hangar nearby. I wanted to interview them but felt shy. It is definitely a local spot. Like, you could like around there for years and not have a clue. We felt a bit "tourist-y" since we stood out and people stared, but they probably don't get too many outsiders lol. Coffee/Decaf had a good flavor. We sent our sausage back to be grilled more but it came back perfect. Great flavor. Bacon was thicker than most bacons. Eggs tasted buttery so were cooked in butter probably. The treat was the French Toast & the Waffle combos that for only $12.95 were such a good value! It was a lot of food for only $12.95. GOOD DEAL!!!

We were traveling through this area on the way back from Temecula, it was breakfast time, so why not. It was a Sat. morning so I was nervous it might be crowded, but we lucked out and got seated on the patio quickly. Our server was very friendly and took care of us. The food was fine, prepared fresh and reasonably priced. The patio seating is kinda cool being able to observe the planes taking off, etc. We like airport cafes so this was defiantly our jam. It is not on any main hwy or built up area, and that is part of the charm. Just good ol' American cafe grub.

It's a cute little diner, with a cute vibe! I love that it was built on a previous airfield, that it decided to take on that theme. The service here was good. But the food was just OK, I didn't enjoy it as much, but still appreciated the cute little vibe!

I love their eggs Benedict. Also, the pancakes are so good, I refuse to eat them anywhere else.

I loved Bambi's Cafe but the New Hangar One Cafe is absolutely amazing! The food is fresh and well prepared, the staff is friendly, the place is clean, and let's be honest - it's a cool place to have breakfast or lunch. If the weather permits you can watch aircraft taxiing and taking off from their covered porch. One of their worst kept secret: The Smash Birger is amazing! It's not on the menu but trust me you need to order it! Finally the ambiance is one of a classic airport cafe. Both Dave and Kelly are always trying something new and pitching in with the community. If you're looking to grab a bite you should definitely swing by and eat at Hangar One!

Since I couldn't find a picture of how there egg salad sandwich looked undecided to order it and post it. It was just ok. Not a lot of flavor at all. I think they just put mayo and mustard maybe in it. The fries were fresh when I picked it up. Service is great the ladies give off Auntie vibes for sure lol would I come again? Yes? Order the same thing? Probably not.

Very Peaceful! I love coming here and sitting outside. We enjoy the outdoors and the food is delicious. We support our military and our community. One of Hemet's finest!

Great, homey feel to this little cafe. Service was friendly and very good. Food was hot, delicious and fresh...cooked as requested. If in the area, we will definitely go back to Hangar 1 Cafe'.

You can sit at the bar, they have indoor and outdoor seating.

I've been flying into the Hemet Ryan Airport to this café for years. It's very popular with the locals. The food is excellent, and the service reflects the friendly hometown atmosphere. There's easy access with parking on the ramp if you fly in.

It was some of the best fried chicken I've had to this day but they closed years ago. And I moved to Temecula. So it's been on my list to go this location for a while but it's still a drive so when my son had a golf tournament at Soboba I had to make plans to take him here. As soon as I walked in I felt like I was on a move set of my childhood. The layout and furnishings were exactly like the location in Pasadena forty years ago! From the waiting area to the hostess stand to bathroom back in the far corner. Even the way the booths and tables were organized. It has a very western Americana vibe to it. The service was exceptional. The kind of service you only get in long established family owned restaurants that employ people for decades. Our waitress was great and attentive and kind. We got the onion ring stack to start. It was great but next time I'll get the zucchini fries which looked amazing. For our entrees we got the stockyard, burger and split the sides. Backed potato, salad and chili soup. The chili soup was t as good as the one I grew up going to but still passable. The backed potato was awesome! And the stockyard was great as well. Served on a sizzling metal plate everything stayed hot the whole meal. The burger was good but would probably opt for something else next time. And the Texas toast... forgedda bout it! Too bad this place doesn't have the fried chicken. I'm sure the recipe is somewhere. Wink wink...

Everything else we tried was equally bad and clearly low quality. It felt unsafe to eat. The customer service was just as bad as the food. Staff were rude dismissive and completely uninterested in fixing anything. When we complained we were ignored. No apology no concern and no accountability. This place has no business serving food. Do not waste your money or risk getting sick. There are far better options anywhere else. ill be checking to make sure this well deserved bad review stays this time. if not i have no problem reposting obviously since this is the 7th time.

It has that cozy, traditional American diner feel, and walking in you're greeted by a beautiful display of fresh pies that instantly makes you smile. I probably spent a few minutes just admiring all the different flavors before we even sat down! Our server was friendly, attentive, and always had a smile. The service made the whole experience even better. And yes... the pie was every bit as good as it looked. In fact, it was so good that I completely forgot to take a picture before I ate it!
