They submitted the claim to my insurance incorrectly so I received a $250 bill in the mail. I had to involve Anthem Blue Cross to reach out to their billing office to get them to resubmit the claim correctly. I also mentioned I was interested in custom orthotics but wanted them to see if insurance was going to cover it. It never happened no follow up. I'm certainly not paying for $600 custom orthotics without even an attempt from this office to reach out to my insurance company. Highly disappointed.

She was very comfortable with his explanation of what he was going to do and she liked his sense of humor. So I decided to go see him for a large cyst on the side of my foot that I had been wanting to get removed. He began by trying the least invasive option; Injecting it with a numbing/ cortisone blend. It decreased in size pretty well so I returned 2 weeks later for another treatment. All is great. Dr Shindler has a disarming quality about him. I must mention that when you walk into the office, there is a very friendly casual feel. No uptight, too serious office staff here, just welcoming smiles. The office seems to run seamlessly. The doctors and support staff have a nice rapport with each other. Everyone seems to really love working with Dr. Shindler and Dr. Ledesma. I am very happy that my daughter found him and I highly recommend seeing him for any of your podiatry needs.

Lol I believe it was a corn. *Correction-not corns but calluses instead* So the doctor delicately dug out the dead skin formed around the point of pressure and it felt so much better. I think he used a scalpel even and it didn't hurt a bit! Fast forward today-the original calluses I had are gone but I have another one forming that hurts so bad when I walk. Im actually looking forward to going back and getting it shaved out again! Seriously! The relief it brings is immeasurable.

I would've gladly gotten a pair for each of my shoes, but these are downright worthless. Would love to show them to the doctor and see what he thinks. A waste of money.

I recently had a podiatrist tell me that I needed to take better care of my feet, and he set me up…read morewith orthotics and some suggestions on finding more stability shoes to go with them. I easily found several stores with good options for stability athletics shoes where the soles can be removed and replaced with my orthotics. I had difficulty finding dress shoes that could be like that for work though. One of my colleagues at work suggested that I check out The Good Feet Store. I made an appointment easily online and received a video that walked me through the free measurements to help produce arch supports. I realized that wasn't what I was looking for as I already have my medical-grade orthotics. When I brought this up to my colleague, she suggested I keep my appointment and look at the stability shoes on display on the wall and explain about having already received orthotics. I planned to do that. When I arrived just in time for my appointment, I saw two employees helping two other people. I waited a few minutes, and one of the employees took a break from helping someone to come over to me. One employee came over to check me in and then I shared that I already had orthotics that my doctor helped me create. I had to repeat that a few times as that employee thought that I was referring to generic orthotics or soles that you can buy in a store. He showed me the stability shoes they had in store which were all athletic shoes, but he didn't have any suggestions or recommendations of places I could go to in order to find stability dress shoes or even dress shoes where the soles are removable (to use orthotics). I was disappointed that he didn't even try to find anywhere to recommend though I understand that he wanted to get back to whomever he was helping before the time of my appointment. While I wasn't impressed with the service I received, the store is helpful for those needing assistance with their feet, especially if they haven't already received medical-grade orthotics from a doctor. He has had multiple malpractice lawsuits filed against him. I ended up going to a ln orthopedic surgeon who called the work done by Dela Cruz "abyssmal" and *shockingly bad". He also works with a payment coordinator on the East Coast that just went to prison for billing fraud, so check your bills.
