I rarely use dry cleaning services, but in this instance, I needed a zipper fixed on a pair of my dickies casual/work jeans. I dropped them off and offered to pay up front, assuming the price to simply fix a zipper to be no more than 7 or 8 bucks, especially since I only paid $20 for them from Walmart. I was advised to pay when I pick them up. Fair enough. Fast forward to today. I go in to pick them up and to my surprise. THIRTY DOLLARS!! The "excuse" was, "sometimes a zipper can't be fixed and needs to be replaced". BS. If a courtesy call was made to inform me that it would have to be replaced, as WELL as the ridiculous cost to do so, I would've saved everyone involved some trouble. When I expressed that the jeans did not even cost that much, the manager, I guess, said that "that's what she put the price as, whoever the hell "she" is*shrugs*. She then told me that she'd lower the cost to a discounted rate. $18..... I laughed and said that's still ridiculous. For $2 more, I can go right up Tatum to Walmart for a brand new pair. VERY surprised this place has many good reviews. Drycleaning is a commodity service...one job to do, and after using the twice, they failed both times. I moved to the area and wanted to try them because they're close. I had dress shirts and pants, polos and casual pants. Because they only dryclean everything, they missed spots on my dress shirt and casual pants. They charge a bit more for dress shirt dryclean and quite a bit more for everything else like polos and pants. Service wasn't satisfactory either as the person was quick to gather my garments and didn't want any questions from me. There was no other customers there either so need need to hurry. The drive up drop off and pick up service is nice but only because there is no parking ever available in that small lot. I won't be going back. read more

I found that this particular dry cleaners happens to be the best service that i have ever used. Not only are their prices fixed, so there are no unhappy surprises when you get your bill but the finished product is phenomenal. I use organic dry cleaners not only for my dry cleaning but fluff and fold as well. my folded items are nicely and neatly places in a zipper up plastic bag. i even brought in a pillow to get it cleaned, and without even asking i was given it back in a brand new cover. its like the pillow is new. not only that but the plastic that you get it back in is exactly the same type of bag that you would get if you were to buy a comforter or sheets. i like recycling. i have a special bin at my house and i use it. i commend the fact that organic supplies a box at the front door for used hangers. not only is it easy to recycle them, it keeps them in order rather then throwing them in a recycling garbage bag that will end up getting ripped because the hangers sharp corners. Finally the clothes. You will not find better service in the greater city of phoenix. they go out of their way to make sure you are a happy customer. The clothes are nothing but perfect when you get them back. sometimes, at this specific location the owner will come out and greet me. Great place, highly recommended! read more

Please believe the recent bad reviews. I had good service from them previously with suits, slacks, dress shirts, comforters, etc. But had not used them for a few months. I took my wedding dress in for steaming, and it came back with wrinkles and varied-colored lint/debris. Appears that quality control was missing. With the same transaction, I had another dress that had hand-sewn jewelry. It was agreed upon that the dress was to be steamed only as dry cleaning would most likely damage the jewelry. The dress appeared to have been dry cleaned as the makeup on the inside of the dress was gone and the jewelry was tangled, resulting in lumps of jewelry. I asked for the manager, who via phone to the store worker authorized $20 off. My issue was that the authorized services were not provided or quality checked. I expected the manager to want to solve this problem. I had no issue with leaving the garments for them to be evaluated by management upon her return in the morning. There was only 1 day turn around, and it was reasonable if more time was needed. This was not an option. When I asked to speak to management over the phone about my concerns, I was not able to get one word in. Supposedly, she was tired of dealing with this "money issue." Various expletives were used to get her point across. Though I was not charged for the "service," I would caution against bringing any delicate garment to this establishment. I hope I am able to retrieve my last dress (final transaction that was sent to their other location for service) that will not be ready for a couple more days without any hiccup. Fingers crossed. Update 3/12/16: So I tried on my other "normal" dress that I had dry cleaned with the above transaction. It had holes, approximately 5. Interestingly, I had just picked up my dress from my tailor (valentina) the day prior to me getting it dry cleaned. 100% it did not have holes. Thankfully, Valentina is stitching up the bigger hole. It appears that whatever machine setting was used was too hot. I'm glad this type of damage did not happen to my more expensive dresses. But it is a lot for every piece to have issues. Once again, I never had any concerns with my previous services. But, I hope that those that continue to use this business do not have any of these things happen. Good luck! read more

Do not go here, they rip you off. They give you a quote when you drop off your garments and give you a receipt with no amount and when you go and pick up your items they over charge you. Went in there after tanning next door and just wanted to see what they charged. The ladies were REALLY strange and unhelpful. I don't know if I rubbed them the wrong way or they were having a bad day but they just weren't interested in my business I guess. They seemed very aggravated with my very presence (all I did was ask how much they charge for slacks literally was in there for like 3 minutes lol)! They do a good job most of the time. They fix buttons and put inexpensive cuff links in shirts that are French cuffed which are all nice little touches. My two star rating really has to do with their prices. They offer coupons but I believe are still expensive at almost $3 to dry clean a shirt. I started using Organicare because my dry cleaner in central Phoenix (close by my office) closed his doors. I used organicare for 3 months. #1. They are overpriced. (I realize they probably have high overhead so that is why they need to charge high in order to stay in business.) #2. They made my dress shirts look worn and dingy very fast. I don't know what organic chemicals they use but it is very harsh on materials. I found another mom pop dry cleaning service downtown that is affordable and simply makes my clothes look good. My experience is always really good here and the girls are always real nice, but the last time I came in i dropped off about 6 shirts, 2 of which were very expensive shirts. I had asked about the starch they use and was told they would only lightly start a certain shirt as to not damage the material. When I got the shirt back it was nicely pressed, but the collar was heavily starched and looked caked on the collar really dulling the color of the shirt. It was the only time it has ever happened to me, but it was close to a $200 dollar shirt so I'm hesitant to bring expensive shirts back. Other than that the service has been great, but I cant give a 5 star rating because of that single shirt. I had used this place on and off for several months only because it was convenient. I always had issues with the collars of my dress shirts not looking crisp. Often times I would have to iron them before wearing the shirt. With a jacket on, that's really the only thing someone will see, so it was impt to me that the collars look nice. I mentioned it to the owner and he basically said too bad and didn't care of he lost my business or not. I started going out of my way and used another place, which worked well, but one day I was crunched for time and went back or Organicare. Big mistake. Not only did the collars look horrible, but I got back a shirt with 4 holes in it. No joke, 4 holes. I called the owner who said that I brought it in that way (he wasnt there when I dropped off my clothes). I humored him and said if I brought it in that way, why would anyone dry clean it? The shirt was ruined. His response was, some people cant afford new clothes (but those people can spend $7 to get their shirt cleaned?!?!). He wouldn't own up to their mistake. Shame on me for going back. Try out their delivery too. They'll leave your garments hung from your front door handle where the bottom of your clothes are on the ground. Beware. Honestly I would not even give them 1 star. I dropped off my wedding dress to be steamed to get out the wrinkles a couple days ago. I was called today and told that my gown smelled and they asked if I wanted it cleaned. I said no and that I would evaluate the "smell" upon pickup. Upon arriving there the gown smelled fine and I proceeded to take it home. It was not properly hung on the hanger but luckily I caught the gown before it fell on the parking lot ground. I drove home and took out the dress to examine it which was when I noticed that the bottom was very wrinkled and clearly the steaming service had never been provided. I called the business and spoke with the manager and owner and the owner basically called me a liar saying that she saw her worker personally iron/steam the dress. She asked me to bring the dress back and unfortunately with my wedding in less than 2 days I do not have time nor at this point do I want them doing anything to my dress. I did take pictures and asked the owner if I could send them to her however she dismissed me. She continued to deny my request for a refund and I finally told her that I would be filing a complaint with the BBB. In response to this, she cursed at me and hung up the phone. The bottom sheet of the sheet set that we had cleaned was not the same sheet we had dropped off. The personnel at the cleaners agreed that it had been switched somehow. They said they would do whatever we wanted to make it right. We emailed them the link to the website where we had ordered the sheets and told them the color and size. I love the Organicare Cleaners at Desert Ridge. Here's what I love: it has a drive-thru, it is open until 8pm on weekdays, it is open on Saturdays, the owner is really friendly, the finished product looks great, free delivery, AND NO chemicals! I feel good about getting my family's clothes cleaned here. Plus, this is a locally owned business and it's great to support our local businesses. The price is reasonable and I really like the reusable bags. They will even keep your credit card on file which I think is really convenient. I used to go to Desert Ridge cleaners which was more expensive, closed at 6 (seriously not convenient for those of us who work!), and did not have a drive-thru. As a security guard I must have a professional looking uniform. I use Organicare's delivery service. It's very convenient. I just leave my shirts on my door and they come by and pick them up, clean them, and put them back on my door. My card is automatically debited. So basically all I have to do is hang my dirty shirts on my door. It's very convenient. You can set up this regular service over the phone. We get our clothes picked up, drycleaned every week and delivered by this company. When their driver quit unexpectedly, our clothes were not picked up, and not done when we expected them to. I was very upset about it. The only thing they could do was to have the clothes ready after 5:00pm the next day after their new driver finally picked them up. To make up for it, the manager himself came in to clean the clothes, and they were ready by 7:30am, instead of after 5:00pm. We will definitely be staying with this company, as even when something goes wrong, they make every attempt to fix it. I would recommend this drycleaner. read more

But then I found Organicare and they are excellent! They do a great job cleaning and they check over the garments for buttons and such, and their service and delivery is exceptional. I won't be using any other dry cleaner business. I've seen some other folks complain about their prices, but I've gotta say that I think they are very reasonable. I move here from St. Louis where to get a blouse cleaned and pressed is $10, so if folks think Organicare is too expensive, then I just say you should just go back to the crummy $2.75 cleaners that Phoenix has so many of. Employees are very friendly. Once a shirt was damaged during cleaning. I received a call in advance of picking up my order. The employee apologized and took full responsibility of the situation. I have used this company's services over a period of probably 5 or 7 years and have spent many thousands over that time in dry cleaning. While over that time the cleaning services have been decent with relatively good pricing.. it is inexcusable that this company employs such irresponsible and uncaring employees. A garment sent to a dry cleaner is a trust. Some of my garments are rather expensive or irreplaceable, hence why I send it to a dry cleaner.. that it be preserved for as long as possible. Over this time a couple of my garments have been lost.. one recovered after I was able to provide a very detailed description.. but what is inexcusable is that they continually insist on putting many of my garments through regular laundry.. which I could do at home if I wanted! The reason I don't is because certain pieces age and fade instantly. They did this frequently enough (even when I specified to them in person that it was ONLY dry cleaning) that I had them in bold capital letters write on my tickets DRY CLEANING ONLY. They sent me back my new shirts faded because of regular laundry, with a receipt with those same bold instructions, yet with charges for regular laundry. I don't know if the owner sees these reviews or perhaps he makes enough money that he really doesn't care.. but I am permanently taking my business elsewhere. If you want a business that will take care of your clothes without you needing to worry if it will be lost or damaged, look elsewhere. read more
