This rave review is shamefully overdue. In August 2023, a couple of days before a convention, I washed a satin Fairy Godmother costume which had one piece (a large bow) that needed to be air-dried rather than put into the dryer, due to the danger of melting hot glue. I was unfortunately too tired to remember that at the time, and soon discovered that the hot glue had melted all over the bow (though thankfully not the rest of the costume). I cursed. I cried. I frantically googled various tips for removing hot glue from fabric. Nothing worked. I decided to try the professionals, though given my short time frame, I wasn't hopeful. Louie's Ultra Cleaners had the best reviews of any cleaner on my side of town, so I gave them a go. They exceeded my wildest expectations in every possible way. They were kind, sympathetic, and told me to wait while they checked to see if the glue could be removed. Amazingly, *while I waited for only a few minutes,* a man treated the bow and then handed it back to me as good as new! Not only that, he refused to accept any money for it. He saved me from the consequences of my own stupidity as if *he* was the Fairy Godmother. I almost cried all over again, this time in gratitude. Louie's Ultra Cleaners will be my go-to cleaner forevermore. This month, I plan to try their alterations service, which reminded me to finally leave this review! I'm not sure about the value or reasonable pricing everyone talks about here. I've only been one time and I brought in a machine, washable king size thin comforter. I then paid $25 for them to basically throw it in a large washing machine. I think that price is outrageous and the next time I have to do a similar comforter, I will simply find a laundromat with large machines. There's nothing that justifies a $25 price to run a washer for a thin comforter. read more

It's actually really sweet because I first came here when I moved to Arizona before getting married... since then I've gotten married, got a dog and am now pregnant! They have always remembered me even when I hadn't been there in a while (just because I had nothing to dry clean) The experience that made me a loyal customer is the following: When I was prepping for my wedding my dad found my mom's wedding dress in our old garage in California. My mom had passed the year before. He had it sent to me... it was a yellowish color and has some stains on it that I thought would never come out - it had been 43 years since their wedding. I decided to bring it here without expecting much just because the dress hadn't been properly stored and looked pretty bad. To my SHOCK and disbelief they managed to make the dress look beautiful again! No idea how! Plus they had a seamstress there who fixed some tears on it! No stains, and it even looked white again! I was able to recreate some of my mom's wedding pictures and it meant so much. They also did an amazing job cleaning and preserving my wedding dress after. Several of my dress shirts have come back stretched where the buttons and button holes do no line up. I have addressed this several times with employees. On one occasion, the employee stated it was due to a "defect" from the shirt's manufacturer. After showing the employee several different shirts with various brands, she continued to claim it was a defect and not take responsibility. Do not take you clothing here. She has fixed many of my shorts, pants, and shirts - and they fixes look incredible. Very impressed with the repairs. Highly recommend them. Let's start with I am very particular with my laundry and the amount of starch wanted on my clothes. I like my jeans and shirts stiff as cardboard and have tried several cleaners to only be disappointed. I called ahead to ask if they offered cowboy stiff/extra heavy starch I wanted and she said they could do it. I went right over and showed an example of jeans I had laundered 1000 miles away. She said they could and boy she delivered. I am highly impressed by keeping their word and delivering the expected service I requested. I highly recommend. I have asked on 3 separate occasions for my clothing to not be over pressed. This time it was 2 pair of BOSS pants and a jacket. They came back with the seams pressed through and new wrinkles pressed into the clothing. For the third time I after I picked up my dry cleaning, one of the men's shirts wasn't mine. When I called this last time the owner literally told me there was nothing she could do and I'm the only person this happens to. Well, obviously not if I received different shirts from other clients???? They're probably wondering where their shirts are? What bothered me was not the fact it happened, it's the owners complete apathy at not trying to help me or make good.
