I had a very disappointing experience at the Organic Dry cleaner on Tatum and Shea. For starters the turn around time for my tablecloth's and banners were not in the time they promised. One of my pieces was missing or not finished. When I went to pick up my items I was not informed that I had a missing item. So I've spent the last 48 hours checking my garage, office and warehouse for the missing item. A phone call would have been appropriate. The prices are extremely high as well. Second of all he refused to take 2 seconds out of his day to look at the dress to assure me it was worth paying them to clean the dress and just kept saying "it depends". Why the hell would I pay $170 without any assurance it'd look different after they cleaned it? First off the prices are higher than average for dry cleaning. Secondly, when I was asking where my fiancé's second dress was the clerk tried to tell me I only gave him one dress. We then found it in with the rest. The worst thing however is that the first time I ever went to have my dry cleaning done here, and will be my last, they lost one of my shirts. They said they'd have it the next day and that it was just at the other store. It's been over a week now and they still haven't found it. They've made no attempts to reimburse me for it and yet I still paid nearly $200 for all of my other dry cleaning that I had done. No calls from the manager apologizing. We are newer customers to Organic Dry Cleaners and had an issue today. I was impressed that the manager took the time to call me back (today!) on my issue explaining things clearly to me and also took care of the problem. It seems this kind of customer service is rare these days so I really appreciate it. This cleaner is not your $1.25 a shirt cleaner. They are a little bit more expensive than others but the care taken with our clothing and service I've received today has been worth the extra few dollars. I never see dirty cuffs or yellowed collars on my husbands shirts as I have with other cleaners. With service and care like this they will continue to will have our business for a long time to come. On my first visit to this cleaner, it took the counter clerk three tries to find her glasses ( in her purse, in her car and in back of store) in spite of being told that the other counter clerk was on the phone, the first one told me to have the second clerk ( on the phone help me. When the clerk got off the phone, she ignored my statement that the woman looking for her glasses told me have her help me. Instead she waited on another customer who just entered the store. The one item I was having cleaned was nearly refused because it was an old tie ( belonged to my deceased father in law). This tire is for my son to wear to his wedding, she reluctantly told me they would try to clean it and then took three tries to enter my information into their computer. This place is a rip off! I went twice, their prices are ridiculous! For 3 summer dresses it was $44! Beware they don't have set prices so they make it up as they go along, I asked the cost ahead of time at drop off and they quoted me $13. The first time i went it was $75 for 4 dress shirts, 2 slacks and a suit. If you want to feel taken for all your money this is the place to go. Will never go here again. Update: The dry cleaner owner reached out to us, and was very sincere and apologetic. He explained that dresses are the most expensive to dry clean. Apparently there was a miscommunication, as the the girl who serviced me was new and didn't explain that dresses were $13 each to dry clean not $13 total. I received a credit for the miscommunication in price. Overall, we were very happy with the quality of the dry cleaning. We trusted them with our formal clothes for a black tie event and everything came out great, which is why I initially went back 2 times in the same week. We had a large pick up and after I got home I noticed that some of our clothes were not buttoned nor ironed correctly. I even came back to get a blazer re-ironed. And then even when I did, I found when I came home again that I had to re-do it. The blazer didn't look good enough after having paid for it to be professionally cleaned. I've been using Organic Dry Cleaners now on almost a weekly basis. They are incredibly helpful. They come to my office and pick up both my regular laundry and dry cleaning, dropping off the previous weeks items. This process is not as expensive as you think, and when time is your most important asset it's totally worth it. The pick up and delivery is free and has radically changed my scheduling. It's giving me more time in the mornings and more time with my family on the weekends. I wish I would have signed up for their services years ago. I rarely use dry cleaners however when I do I use this company because I like to stay away from chemicals as much as possible. I brought them a bunch of shirts and a suit jacket to clean and there was a situation with a missing Buttonon the suit coat as well as a Mark on a shirt that appeared to which I thought was not there when I brought it to them. The owner of the store really did a good job of fixing the situation. He put all new buttons on the jacket because they were not able to find the missing button. And we are not sure if they created The Mark or not on the shirt. The owner provided all of that work at no charge even though all of the shirts came out clean other than the one in concern. And he also gave me a substantial credit for future work. You always know when a company is good when a problem happens. They stepped up to the plate and took care of it.
