Solid chicken spot. We ordered ahead for pick up. Got there and waited 10 minutes until my order was ready - no biggie. You can either order ahead or you can order at a kiosk when you get there. The place is small, best to take to-go in my opinion. The chicken was solid, flavorful and nice crispiness to it. We got some chicken wings, fries, and the Korean nuggets. I really liked the Korean nuggets with that soy garlic flavor on it, yum!

The chicken wasn't good at all. The fries were fried hard and cold. We ordered with nacho cheese which was also cold. And the pickles tasted horrible.

Loved my experience here! Our server was so sweet, she even handwrote our orders on the paper bags given to us. They didn't offer Hangry Joe's merch at this location but she was kind enough to give me some Hangry Joe's pins, which I didn't get to take a photo of. Plus the food was amazing 10/10

First time trying with my fiancé. This is definitely a short stop/togo place, but there is more than enough room for people to enjoy their food peacefully! The establishment is clean and we ordered ahead, so when we got there 10 min after ordering, we didn't have to wait long. Service is a little different because you have the choice to call in/order online but also when you're in person you can order at the kiosk yourself or order with the cashier. The food is definitely the star here. All the flavors blend in perfectly and there is just enough kick within all their flavors. The korean soy garlic nuggets are perfectly crispy and juicy! I saved a few for the next day to test cold and microwaved and it was still pretty crispy, flavorful and juicy! My fiancé got the chicken sandwich as well as the loaded fries. Each spicy level is so unique to its own and it is just mouth watering *It is pretty spicy, we eat a lot of spicy food and we even though there was a kick* My fiancé is pretty picky with chicken places, and for him to talk more than 4x about how much he loved it and that he wanted to go back says more than my own words.

Really enjoyed my time at circa!…read more Before coming, I perused the menu and knew that I wanted the chicken paillard. It was something I'd never heard of and looked like it had Angel hair pasta, arugula, and the chicken looked interesting. It looked fried, but not in a typical way. So when I got my meal, I was so pleasantly surprised at how delicious the chicken was. It was a light crispy, airy texture to the skin. And the pasta was delicious - so good. It had mushrooms and sweet peppers along with the butter sauce. Thoroughly enjoyed it! I also ended up getting a mocktail which was a spicy faux margarita. Not bad! It had a nice ambience for groups, and our server was super helpful. He made a lot of good suggestions and made sure to check on us. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and looking for a nice dining experience!

I understand that you can't as a restaurant work on the same menu all the time, but they take away almost all staples and replace them with something very questionable. So far I tried 2 items and both were with major issues. First I tried Grilled trout entree and trout was bland with nice farro side . Whole dish seems underwhelming and had a lack of bonding sauce or flavor profile to make it a dish. Second time I had Salmon salad and this was not good at all. Salmon itself was perfectly cooked as a medium rare on my liking and champagne dressing in mixed greens was good. But I salad had cold and slimy potato pieces and big chunks of blackish marinated onions,it was hard to eat and even unpleasant. I'm really disappointed, because Thai shrimp salad was absolutely best salad in DC area as well as other very popular dishes from old menu. Please bring back Thai Shrimp!!

Detroit pizza: We got a half pepperoni and half normal. This really punched above it's weight flavor wise. I really liked it. Definitely the star of the food. Burgers: These got mixed reviews, from the cook being off and the patties being on the smaller side. Nashville Fried chicken: Impressive looking and it inspired a bit of FOMO. Its very crispy, but otherwise nothing special. I found the chicken to be a too thin IMO. Fries: These were great. Next time I will stick with the pizza and I want to try the pretzel.

I had to tell the server I ordered a cider and she gave me a pilsner, and then had the audacity to argue with me that I ordered a beer off the cider menu. I said i didn't order this, so maybe the menu is incorrect? Either way, the server didn't apologize and didn't offer to take it off the bill and was just irritated at her own mistake. Asked another server if they have flights and they do not (unlike other breweries) but they allow 3 tastings per person at the bar (not at the table where we were). We had a caesar salad where the lettuce was soft and wet. It doesn't seem like they properly dried the washed lettuce, so I ended up with soggy rather than crispy bites. The pizza was like a dry focaccia with not enough overcooked toppings. The forager was probably the best one thanks to the truffle oil and had a proper cheesy crust. The other two pizzas we tried didn't have enough cheese to have a crispy crust, were too thick and dry, and weren't hot enough for the burrata to melt. It's not clear to me if these pizzas are par baked or just reheated but they were not good. Would not order again.

I ordered shrimp and chicken hibachi with fried rice and vegetables--pretty standard, nothing complicated. What I got instead was a sad, confused plate that looked like it gave up halfway through being cooked. The chicken looked like it had been pulled off a grocery store rotisserie, chopped up, flashed over heat for all of 30 seconds, and drowned in sauce to hide the shortcuts. The shrimp weren't much better--just there, no real seasoning, no real effort. And let's be clear--this wasn't a situation where the kitchen was slammed or overwhelmed. The restaurant was completely empty except for me. No crowd. No rush. No pressure. They had every opportunity to take their time and put together a decent meal. Which makes it worse, because this clearly isn't a bad night--it's just the level they operate on. The "fried rice" was the real insult. Calling it fried rice is generous. It was plain white rice with what looked like a light mist of soy sauce. No vegetables. No eggs. Not even onions. Just beige disappointment. And it tasted exactly how it looked--bland, flat, and completely forgettable. And somehow they also threw in noodles I didn't ask for--dry, lifeless noodles that looked like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp since lunch, and just as bland as everything else in the box. This is not hibachi. This is mall food court quality at best--and even that's being kind. An $11 plate? Sure. $20? Absolutely not. Then the fried chicken wings. I ordered soy garlic, expecting something even remotely comparable to places like Bonchon, where the sauce is rich, glossy, slightly sticky, and actually clings to the wings. What I got instead was a watery, reddish sauce that slid right off. It had the consistency of hot sauce, not a soy garlic glaze. No depth, no balance--and yes, just as bland and underwhelming as the hibachi. All in, I spent over $30, and not a single item justified the price. For that same money, I could have gone to Benihana or literally any decent hibachi spot and had a meal that actually resembled what I ordered. This place being a sit-down restaurant makes it even worse. If you're going to charge sit-down prices, the food needs to reflect that. Right now, it doesn't come close. Save your money. Skip this place entirely. I'm so sad I drove 20 mins to and from this place. I just wanted some good hibachi.
