Hands down the best spot for breakfast or lunch in the Tysons area if you're looking for a good bite. I've tried almost everything on the menu and haven't been disappointed once. My personal go-to is the Korean chicken sandwich or the spicy gyro wrap, both are amazing. The owner, Katherine, is very kind and attentive. She genuinely cares about her customers and always checks in to make sure everything came out just right. They recently went through renovations, and the place now looks and feels even cozier. Definitely stop by if you're in the area. read more

Great service and quality! We went for lunch, large selection of Korean and fusion specials and classic deli sandwiches and fries! My mom got a Ruben, so good, one of the best she has had! We were nearby for some shopping but would go out of our way to return for this quality food! I got the bimbap special with bulgogi beef, fried egg, rice, tasty and all the fresh ingredients of good quality. One downside was the interior- a little chilly/drafty with a single door instead of atrium or rotating door. The furnishings were looking a bit worn, not as impressive as the food. It was too windy and cold the day we were there to do the outside seating, looked nice for better weather. Will be back, recommended! read more

Blessing Cafe was such a blessing to find! They changed ownership about 3 months ago, but this place is still going strong and a local favorite! They offer an extensive menu, featuring breakfast items, cold and hot sandwiches, paninis, wraps, salads, house specialties (such as Korean eats), coffee, tea, and other beverages. We came here for breakfast, and I was so glad that you're not only restricted to their breakfast menu, but can order off of their lunch menu as well! We ordered: +a Breakfast Burrito - generously filled with homefries, egg, and cheese, with your choice of protein (opting for the sausage); the hubs found this to be super delicious, and loved how the ingredients were well 'mixed' together, so you're biting into only potatoes, only eggs, etc.; he stated that the sausage that they used was very flavorful and tasty! +a Shrimp Po'Boy - a sub roll filled with fried shrimp, coleslaw, and remoulade sauce; the roll itself is a little too bread-y, but the filling was yummy; I was a little apprehensive that there wouldn't be too much sauce, but there was enough to dress everything; the coleslaw was yummy +a Bulgogi Sub - a sub roll filled with bulgogi, cheese, and mayo; I opted out of the lettuce and the tomatoes; the roll itself is a little too bread-y, and the bulgogi itself was fine, with a little kick; a hearty sub, for sure +housebaked cookies - we tried their chocolate chip, the oatmeal raisin, and the white chocolate macadamia - they just had come out of the oven, so they were warm and so good; our favorites were the oatmeal raisin and the white chocolate macadamia! I was pleasantly surprised to see that they serve Julius Meinl coffee! I had their maple latte and the hubs had their matcha latte. Both were very well-prepared and delicious! I definitely want to try their Korean dishes, such as their bibimbop. Staff here was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was actually prepared efficiently! Was looking for a new lunch spot so I decided to try this place and I had no idea what I was missing! I placed an order online for the chipotle chicken wrap with a side of coleslaw-- both were delicious and my order was ready in 5 mins during a busy lunch hour. Their menu has great options and their dining area was full which is always a good sign. Don't let it's tucked away location deter you-- it's easy to get in and out of and will be worth the visit! read more

Went on a whim not expecting too much. Saw some old reviews about the fried korean chicken sandwich but wasn't sure if it was still on the menu. Honestly thought it was going to be nothing special, just a regular chicken sandwich but no. You have to come here just for this. It was a FAT, THICK chicken sandwich w/ a ton a flavor. The sauce they use compliments the sandwich and it was super succulent. I was actually so blown away by this sandwich. This place def seems like a hole in a wall spot. Also got their korean bulgogi sub/sandwich. Im korean so i wasn't expecting much from this sandwich either tbh but god it was soo good. Nice sweet/savory flavors going and just packed w meat. We went out of our way to find this place, and Yelp once again did not disappoint. Partner had the fried chicken sandwich, which was tasty.The meat was juicy and very filling. I had the bimbimbap with beef, which was fine, but not the best I've ever had. The owner does in fact sing, and she's very friendly, which was fun. The ambiance feels like what you'd expect for a tiny Korean shop in a depressing office park. I have to admit I'm curious about the rest of the menu. read more

Hands down my favorite deli/Cafe. They also have lots of amazing Korean food. The owners are amazing, high energy, and absolutely loving. You can definitely tell it's a mom and pop shop. This place is constantly flowing with guests for eating in, ordering to go. I work near by so I order for pick up every Thursday and its quick and easy. Ordering in person is also an extremely fun experience. They have plenty of sitting space inside and out. Private FREE parking. 10/10 if you're in the area, you have to try it at least once. That way you are hooked and you have to come back. Ps, always order fries. I unfortunately at all of mine instantly so I couldn't take a photo. read more

I live nearby and decided to grab lunch here for the first time. I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich with Fries. The sandwich consisted of a large piece of fried chicken glazed in gochujang sauce, topped with a homemade slaw on a brioche bun. It was tasty, fresh, and homemade. Also, the owners were super sweet. The sandwich was fresh-made to order-- including the fried chicken. Admittedly, it's not the best piece of Korean fried chicken that I've ever tasted but it worked well in the sandwich. The homemade slaw was also fresh and complemented the spiciness of the gochujang glazed chicken quite nicely. In addition, the fries were cooked well and tasted surprisingly good for a small cafe. Most of the other customers are regulars who work in the nearby office buildings. While waiting for my order, I noticed that the owners were welcoming and direct with everyone who came in about the wait time. They also made sure that each order was perfect before handing it to customers. Overall, Blessing Cafe is a hidden gem in the Tysons area. The food is tasty, fresh, and affordable. Found this place on Yelp today while waiting for my Dad's car to be ready and it surpassed my expectations. The lady operating the cashier (and maybe the owner/GM?) had an air about her that was infectiously positive. Maybe it was the fact that she sang every word in response to our order (she also has a great voice, which def helps; if I sang at work I think the public response would be altogether different) or her attentiveness to every group of customers in (and seated outside on the patio) of her cafe. But in any event, it was a nice refrain from a regular, low energy interaction you typically have at a lunch spot. We ordered the Chicken Philly and the Chicken Salad Sandwich (today's special) on rye. My chicken Philly was well cooked and seasoned and accompanied by delicious and fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and onions. The chicken salad was fresh and sandwiched between two perfectly toasted pieces of the bread. If I had a complaint, it would be that the bread was a bit soft (for a hoagie, I prefer a hard roll). The Chicken Philly was so good I ordered a Korean Chicken sandwich and fries just to try another dish. The chicken was perfectly seasoned/breaded - so crispy on the outside but juicy and tender on the inside - and topped with a Korean slaw and sweet Korean sauce. I liked the Chicken Philly better but both were delicious and would be a welcome lunch order on most days. I look forward to returning to try more of the menu and to maybe join in on the singing this time! read more

Went to meet a friend for lunch after reading all the wonderful testimonials. Normally when one expects a lot, the place has no shot at living up to expectations. Not here. The owners are DELIGHTFUL. She sings to you, offers hugs, checks on you to make sure you're happy. I can't tell you how beautiful the vibe is there. He cooks and makes delicious sandwiches, salads and more. My friend brought me here for a workday hour lunch and I'm glad he did because this place is so cute! I'm probably biased towards the lady who works the register because her energy and happiness is so contagious. The reuben here is great, thick deli-slices of corned beef, Russian spread and a conservative helping of kraut--some places overdo it on the spread and kraut to the point where everything is dripping down your front--and then the bread was nicely griddled and not soaking in oil either. The fries here are great too, give your diet a break and spoil yourself with a small order. They're almost beer-battered, seasoned and addictively crunchy. My friend was gracious enough to share a bite of his cheesesteak with me as well. The hoagie roll was nice and soft like an amoroso should be and then the steak had a small kick of heat/spice to it that tied the sandwich together. If you work around the area, definitely drop in for lunch sometime and try your hand at the Korean phrases listed on the register. The ownership of this place is amazing. Even though it's called Blessing Cafe, I think the most religious part of the place is the Bible scripture on the wall but you can tell that the staff are loving people. The food and the service are outstanding, and the ownership makes you glad you found this cafe (such nice people and some of them even sing your order!). We've been here twice, and wish it was closer to our house. It's tucked away in Tysons north of Route 7, but worth the trip to find it! Highly recommended!!! read more

A small hole in the wall resturant that serves great, cheap and fast food. Ordered the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich, Steak and Cheese and Fries. The Chicken in the Sandwich was huge, there was a lot of steak in the Steak and Cheese and the Fries were plentiful, crispy and nicely salted. Also ordered the burger which was an amazing double cheeseburger that comes with all your normal fixing of lettuce, tomatoes and sauce. I wished this place was closer to me bc I would definitely come here more often. It is a cute and quaint lil cafe with a variety on their menu from paninis to Korean food! I had the pesto chicken panini and they did NOT skimp out in the protein like most places. I also tried the bibimbap and the sauce that came with it added a nice spice. Not only is the food delicious but the price is low for the portion size. Due to covid they closed their indoor seating but they have a nice patio area with tables and umbrellas. Highly recommend!!! read more

I work within walking distance and this is hands down the go-to lunch spot for me and my coworkers. The staff is super friendly, especially the owner who often greets you and takes your order in a sing-song voice. She even goes in for a hug when it's not too busy! Her husband works the register and is always so friendly. My favorite dish without question is their Spicy Pork Bulgogi over rice. The flavor is so good and it comes with a side salad and oil and vinegar dressing. I've also ordered catering (scrambled eggs and potatoes) for a team breakfast and my team remarked how delicious it was, especially the potatoes. If ever I don't get my Blessings fix, I usually make up for it by going 2-3x in a week. If that doesn't speak die-hard fan, I don't know what does. read more

Cute little hole-in-the-wall/mom and pop spot! Came during lunch hours and it was pretty busy as it was located in a business park area. Employees were so cute and kind; they were very positive and bubbly. Sweetest people ever! They definitely care about you and your food, so trust that they serve you some delicious food. There is a wide variety of foods: breakfast, wraps, hot and cold sandwiches/paninis, salads, rice plates, and even bibimbap. They have a bunch of candy and chocolate for sale (just like at gas stations) and a shelf of chips to go with your meal. Water cups are provided and free for your convenience. I got the chicken teriyaki rice plate that came with a side salad (with an italian dressing). So good and filling for its price! The chicken wasn't dry and had a flavorful teriyaki sauce, and the side salad was a great addition. This place is also a Christian establishment with bible passages printed on the walls, but they definitely do not discriminate or make you feel unwelcome if you're not Christian. This place makes me happy and it's 100% because of the people that work here. Be prepared to be welcomed and serenaded. The location is pretty hidden and caters to the lunch rush from the surrounding corporate offices. When ordering, the cashier smiles from ear to ear, eager to provide the best service. The owner sings out every order or number when delivering the food to the customers. Singing makes people happy! They remember their customers and this mom and pop shop is a nice lunch break from being outside the office. I ordered the California wrap (turkey, avocado, lettuce, ranch, and cheese) with a side of fries. The fries are addictive- super crispy, well seasoned, and piping hot. Let me tell you, this has got to be the cutest mom and pop shop around the Tyson's Corner area. I found this place by word of mouth, from a colleague. Our office is literally walking distance from this cute cafe. They're owned by the cutest Korean family, with one of them singing your orders. (She's so cute!) They had a good variety of food from Korean popular dishes (like bulgogi, and spicy pork bulgogi) to burgers. I ordered a steak and cheese with fries, which is definitely my favorite thing 'til this day. The way the steak is seasoned and made for this cheesesteak was amazing, it had a little spicy kick to it as well! The fries are super crispy and when you take it to go, they make sure not to close the box so it doesn't get soggy. The only thing I wish was that the bread didn't get soggy when I saved half, but that's my fault for not finishing it haha (the portion is huge, and the meal itself is not expensive at all). Every time I walk in there I leave with a smile. Not only does their food make me smile, but another thing that contributes to this smile is the staff and the way they care about their customers and how bubbly they all are! I had completely forgotten they have a Starbucks on-site with a limited menu. Of course, I couldn't leave without grabbing a cookie and a chocolate croissant for later. The food arrived fresh, hot, and exactly as expected. The staff is always friendly and personable. You see professionals, students and the locals coming in and out, but there is seating available. Conversations are at a minimum and despite the attached restaurant you can still hear yourself and the other person without yelling. One thing I appreciate about Best Buns is the consistency. Whether it's been months or years between visits, the quality never seems to change. The sandwiches are flavorful, the ingredients taste fresh, and nothing feels like it was sitting around waiting to be reheated. Everything is prepared to order, and you can taste the difference. My sandwich disappeared one bite at a time, and Hubs completely demolished his croissant sandwich without hesitation. That's usually all the confirmation I need. Some restaurants are good. Some are memorable, but there are the places that become part of your routine whenever you're back in town. Best Buns has earned that status for us. Five stars earned! Consistently fresh. I ordered the food to dine in and it was packaged to go. I wish the food could be prepared for dining in. It's a pet peeve of mine to see all of the grease oozing out of fries in a brown bag. There were also Styrofoam plates and plastic straws, wish there were more environmental-friendly products. Might be back for brunch if there's a dine-in option.
