The…read moreoffice woman told me there was a "shakiness" that indicated replacing the center support bearing and the axle shaft seal also needed replaced. I OK'd that. Everything was done except charging the A/C. She gave me a long explanation that told me nothing. She likely forgot as nothing about the A/C is on the invoice. So, it will require another appointment. Also, the mileage is not listed on the invoice. They claim their work is reported to Car Fax and they should need the mileage. There is also no indication how long the repairs took, just a total bill. And there was a fee which I would have to pay if using a debit card. The management would be better served with new front counter help that is better with scheduling.

I'm not a mechanic but the coolant was pretty visible and the smell was distinct. Just frustrating because I even asked them if it could be the head gasket due to previous problems.

We had to get it towed back from Othello to Lewiston. I took it to another shop in town who said it had overheated and blew the head gasket $3500 estimate to fix it! When I called Peterson's the boss got on the phone and said "there was no guarantee on the work they had done"! My problem is I had NEVER had a overheating problem until they worked on it!!! I highly recommend Moscow transmission. They are fair and a great value for the money. Don't even question bringing your vehicle to them.
