On your first trip here, I suggest plugging the address into your GPS rather than the brewery name. Navigation tried to convince me to park my car on a side street and walk across someone's lawn to get here. Using the street address was much more accurate. It's a great space, and in nice weather you get a beautiful view to the east which can include the Berkshires. There's something for everyone on the beer list, plus a Nine Pin Cider option and a hard cider option. The food was tasty with good amounts, though I did find the batter for the fried items to be ever so slightly heavy. The portions were good too, as I had more than enough. They have live entertainment here every so often too, though they admit they sometimes have to get slightly creative with the setup to accommodate the performers. This is, for me, definitely a must-return brewery.

Do not sleep on this place, we both regret waiting so long to try it. We got married almost 7 years ago and during our tour of Fairways, they mentioned the they were in the process of building it then. The main brewers are also teachers ( one was my PIG/econ teacher) They have open seating, and it does get busy. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The beer selection was excellent, I really liked the blueberry beer and the salad. The food was excellent, and had huge portions. I had the Gobbler which was an apple and turkey sandwich.y husband and I split the pretzel which was also good. We definitely brought home leftovers.

Cool logo although my husband didn't think so (I guess a little foo foo for a man.) Cool location- on a golf course. Nice interior design (small) but a nice stone fireplace and ustic vibe but still a new feel. The homeade chips- delicious. Just a heads up on how this place operates- order at the cashier station and your food and drinks will be brought to you. My issues: 1. Don't advertise specials you don't have. There was a little tent ad on the table advertising a tri tip sandwich. Of course I want that! I order it. The girl looked confused. She places my order then a few minutes alter came up and asked me where I saw that item offered. I pointed to the table tent ad and she said they aren't following that list and I had to re-order. At that time they wet to all tables and removed the signs. 2. I went with the philly steak eggrolls. Nowhere were green peppers advertised in the eggrolls. SO MANY-TOO MANY. UGH- the flavor is just not for me. I did not eat my food. Their beer cheese- sub par. 3. I had my infant son with me. Now I get some people are going to say what do you expect at a brewery but I go to a lot of breweries and parents drink beer so here goes- no changing table in the bathroom. I had to resort to the floor.

What I like most is the location. From the dining room, we had a view of the golf course, where we saw snow geese and a bald eagle. The beer was good. The beer is why you should come here. The food is okay at best. I ordered the Two Buttons Deep Blueberry, which I enjoyed, followed by the Legget's Lager, which I liked as well. The menu has too much pale ale on it, which is not my thing. Regarding the food, the pizza is drunk person pizza. This would be delicious at 2:00 in the morning on Sheffield or Rush streets in Chicago. But the pizza sauce tasted tinny. Possibly I should have had more to drink.

Love this place! Stopped in for the first time over the weekend and was so impressed with the venue. It manages to be cozy while still feeling open and airy with a large garage door that lifts up as you overlook the golf course. The beers were great and the food was delicious! We went with two different pizzas, the Action Bronson and the Buffalo Chicken. I appreciated that they offered a small and large size for their pizzas, and we went with the small so we could order two. Both were well cooked, very fresh, and flavorful. The menu was a good size and every meal we saw come out of the kitchen looked incredible. We felt like we couldn't order enough items off the menu and can't wait to go back!

Only one of our pizzas was nicely browned on the bottom.

Finally, the perfect reason to visit a golf course in the Winter - an onsite brewpub! Yes, the Fairways of Halfmoon has its own brewery in the clubhouse. There is also a banquet room with a bar, but the real atmosphere is in an adjacent room with another bar, the brewing tanks and a stone-faced, gas fireplace. The night a few of us stopped in there were fourteen house brewed beers on the menu and I think one or two local craft guest draft beers. Styles ranged from light wheat and pilsners, to medium amber and ESB, to hoppy/floral IPAs, and to dark, browns, IPAs and stout. The menu has all good things that go perfectly with beer - pub-food appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and pizza. I suppose in all fairness, I really should mention salads too. Our group came Hankering for tavern food, so we ordered medium Chicken Wings and Alabama White BBQ Wings ($9.25/10 each), Potato Cones ($6.75), Mozzarella Sticks ($7.75), a Briscola Pizza ($10/$14), and a custom pizza we call Steve N.($12). I didn't notice the spicing on the medium wings, but they were nice and crispy. The Alabama white BBQ sauce on the other batch of wings had a really nice flavor but by the time I got to try them any crispiness that might have been there was gone. The Potato Cones were a hit with everyone at our table. They are deep fried potato nuggets with creamy centers served with a Bravas dipping sauce that looked like it may have been mustard based. The Mozzarella Sticks appeared to be made in-house with a flavorful breading and served with a not too sweet raspberry dipping sauce that had just the right amount of viscosity to stick to the breading. I was not expecting to enjoy the pizzas when I saw them delivered to our table. They looked under cooked except for just a couple of nice leopard spotting blisters on their cornicione. In fact, our custom pizza that we call a Steve N. was the only one that showed some golden crisping on its upskirt. But while the dough was soft and more pliable than expected, the dough had a very nice texture and flavor. The toppings were also excellent on each pizza. Our Steve N. had bacon, ham and hot cherry peppers. The Briscola pizza had crema, peppadews, chorizo, onions, a Mexican cheese blend and smoked honey mustard. It certainly sounded unique, and it was a wonderful blend of flavors. For the record, pints of beer are $6 and 5 ounce beers are $3. I chose to order a flight of four 5 oz. glasses for $12. The Hanktoberfest, the Jersey Girl brown ale, the Sweet Ruby black IPA, and the Menace to Sobriety stout were all very good beers. I also enjoyed a parting glass of Bruce's Best ESB traditional English pale ale. I can certainly see me returning with the wife to explore more of their beer and food.

Great space, personable, family friendly and great beer!! Saw this on Yelp and followed recommendations- potato cones- ok...the sauce was nice but a variety would improve them- you get bored after a few. Wings 10 for $11...well they were done as requested but had to ask for extra sauce and they were only served with water logged celery and very chunky blue cheese. Saw a huge pretzel at the next table and beef on a wick also a NY fav. Will have to come back to try pizza and other appys. Not from the area but would recommend highly for beer aficionados. The space is beautiful and there is outdoor seating. Congrats to the brewers

Good beer and nice employees. Beautiful scenery and it looks like a lovely place to golf. No membership needed to enjoy the beer. We went in August and enjoyed a sour and some (expensive) tot-chos. The bees, unfortunately, did not understand that we didn't want to share our drink with them, so we were driven away after the first drink. We will be back in the fall...when the bees are less active.

Decided to stop in and give it a try, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by how good the beer was. It opens up completely on both sides so there is a lot of outdoor space. My one suggestion would be to get a few heaters for outside so the space can be utilized into the cooler temperatures.

The open tasting room gives you multiple seating options, inside, outside in nice weather, and at the bar. We were hungry, and a quick Yelp search led us here. It was a beautiful day so we elected to eat outside. The courtyard is an attractive space. A canopy of umbrellas dangle from above giving a whimsical yet effective cover from the sun. The menu is rather extensive and offers a nice variety. I ordered the Druthers Smash Burger and my wife ordered the Braised Short Rib French Dip. While we waited for the food our waitress brought out complimentary homemade potato chips along with a dill dipping sauce. The chips were light, crispy, and cooked to perfection. The dipping sauce was tasty. The burger and french dip were excellent. They have a nice variety of beers to choose from. I was curious about Uncurious. It is a New England style IPA and after trying it, I declared it the best beer in Saratoga Springs! My wife had D-light. And I honestly think it is the best light beer I've ever had! Service was friendly and professional. Turns out our waitress shares my wife's occupation (teacher). They had a nice conversation. She was super friendly.
