Fantastic craft beer brewery with a unique selection! I stopped here while visiting the area and I'm so glad I did. Though they only had four beers on tap when my boyfriend and I stopped in, they were all awesome. The four were: Wobbly Pop, a New England IPA, a Peanut Porter, Thai Wun On, a Belgian Wit with Thai spices and ghost peppers, and Dark Materials Imperial Stout. Since their flight includes five small pours, the bartender gave us the four and let us decide which one we liked best for our fifth pour. The Thai Wun On Belgian Wit was such an interesting beer and had great flavor, and little heat - thankfully! The bartender was really friendly and we enjoyed meeting the brewery cat Fuggle. She's so sweet! Though they don't serve food, they do let you bring your own food in. It's a great craft brewery! read more

Service was great, lots of friendly banter with Chris the owner, a fellow ex pat. The beers were decent, good flavours and reasonably priced. Not bad from someone from "dahn sowf!" The ambiance was interesting. A very large garage type building with lots of open space. A great place to go if you like watching Rugby. C'mon England!!! The cat was well behaved and didn't attack our friend's dog. Always a plus when the cat doesn't attack the dog. The cat was bigger than the dog, so things wouldn't have ended well. read more

Found this place back in January while scanning the area near Bousquet Mountain, where we planned to go snow tubing. Great relaxing vibe and the owner/bartender was very friendly and informative. There were only 4 beers on tap at the time, but we loved them all! Very unique brews and the owner had stories about each (including a recipe he described for one). Stumbled across this gem after a nice hike with my girlfriends. Obviously things are different with COVID but we just happened to have a BEAUTIFUL day and this brewery had outdoor seating! They do not sell food so the beers were sold to go, but there were tables and chairs in the sunshine, spaced 6 feet apart, so we bought a few beers and took a seat! I believe they also had curbside pickup for beer as well as I heard the gentleman taking an order as we walked up to order. Great beer, nice spot & support local! read more

This place is just straight up FUN. Honestly, a great time, great beer, and great people. The brewery cat, Fuggle is the cutest little host and owner Chris is a blast. We came not knowing what we were getting into, but wanted somewhere with a pool table or something to do while we drank. They have pool, ping pong, jenga, and a slew of board games. There are few times when your expectation is a reality. Luckily, our stop at wandering star brewery was just that. Serving as a pit stop during our drive back from my cousins wedding, we enjoyed the lovely backyard atmosphere. We truly felt like we were pulling up to a friends house to catch up and have a beer on our way through. There is a lovely garden in the back were we catch sights of monarch butterflies while we played Jenga. Lots of seating, perfect for an afternoon with friends. Very small scale, this intimate brewery is clearly beloved by the neighbors. You can hear calls of dinner plans between draft pours. And The beer is really, really good. My favorite was the bartender, a calico named fuggel. Described jokingly to us as "the only part of he business plan that actually worked out". Regardless of the original plan, we loved how it turned out and will Sure to be back. read more

Awesome garage brewery! Beer is great! The staff and cat are so friendly and nice. My husband and I stopped here for a quick beer on our way back to Boston after a wedding in the Berkshires. It was supposed to be a quick stop, but we enjoyed the place and beer so much that we stayed for over two hours drinking beer and playing board games. Wandering Star is an eclectic brewery with sort of a mish mash of decorations. The beer I would consider below average compared to most breweries but the employee working was friendly enough and happy to help. They even have a house cat that wanders throughout the brewery which is pretty neat (unless you have allergies). When I visited it took them a while to get the taps to work and the beer was not impressive. read more

The first time my family came here we got a flight of beer and something crazy happened: all 4 of us liked every single beer in the flight. The beer is flavorful, unique and delicious. There's truly something for everyone. We love to sit outside to enjoy a beer or two and then take a growler home. How great the beer is may only be topped by how great Chris is. Stopped in for a quick point on my way out of the Berkshires. Arrived just before opening and sat in a chair in the "lounge area". Bare bones joint with 7 beers on tap. Friendly service, decent prices. Worth a quick stop, especially for the IPA. read more

This place is great! Chill setting for great beer tastings. Flights are a great way to make your selection. My favorite was the saison but I need to go back to try more of their seasonal selections! You can play games (cards, checkers, darts, etc). Shannon was so lovely! read more

We visited the brewery today and had the best experience ever - we were asked if we wanted to try something and we thought we would get a small sample of 1 or 2 beers and instead, we got a flight of 7 beers with a generous pour. There was not a bad beer in the bunch - even the blonde beer had a nice hoppy finish, and I don't usually go for the light beers - but this was a nice, refreshing summer beer. We fell in love with the porter that was stored in a cask that was still soaked with rum. After trying all of them, we had to make the hard decision of which one to take home in our growler - so we decided on the English Ale ESP and the Second Breakfast. While we were visiting, there were many more people that stopped in to fill growlers too - and let me not forget the adorable kitty that stands guard and watches over the beer. read more

Awesome awesome awesome! About as grassroots craft beer as you can get. In this small, blue warehouse/barn you will fine some delicious beer. Depending on what is being brewed you can try as many samples of beer as you would like - for free. That's right, they let you taste their beers - and they were all good. Super friendly people who know what they are doing Since it is a very small production they only do kegs so you can buy grolwers on site. You can get Catcher in the Rye at Wahconah Park and various bars in the Berkshires. They are expanding their distribution into New York and Eastern MA so keep an eye out for their beers. I sampled 5 - all different styles - and they were all fantastic. read more
