Beers and sunshine! Ignore the background lol

Stumbled across this gem after a nice hike with my girlfriends. Obviously things are different with COVID but we just happened to have a BEAUTIFUL day and this brewery had outdoor seating! They do not sell food so the beers were sold to go, but there were tables and chairs in the sunshine, spaced 6 feet apart, so we bought a few beers and took a seat! I believe they also had curbside pickup for beer as well as I heard the gentleman taking an order as we walked up to order. Great beer, nice spot & support local!

Chris, the host and owner, and his famous cat Fuggle, made our visit even more special! Every beer is a winner - $5 flights can't be beat.

Chris and his cat Fuggle are the two sole proprietors of Wandering Star Brewery. Together they brew, taste, serve, and host all beers and thirsty patrons coming to sample. Five dollar flights are unbeatable - and each brew is packed with layered, bright flavor. Delicious beers, great service, awesome conversation, and an amazing live-in mascot with Fuggle make this working brew warehouse a comfortable lounge to sample with friends.

This place is just straight up FUN. Honestly, a great time, great beer, and great people. The brewery cat, Fuggle is the cutest little host and owner Chris is a blast. We came not knowing what we were getting into, but wanted somewhere with a pool table or something to do while we drank. They have pool, ping pong, jenga, and a slew of board games. Will be back again, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Can't wait to go back! - Serene, Eliza, & Travis

Awesome garage brewery! Beer is great! The staff and cat are so friendly and nice. My husband and I stopped here for a quick beer on our way back to Boston after a wedding in the Berkshires. It was supposed to be a quick stop, but we enjoyed the place and beer so much that we stayed for over two hours drinking beer and playing board games. Happy to report I am still the queen of checkers. I NEVER lose! :) If you are looking for great beer and an off the beaten path kind place, this is your brewery!

We were at Jiminy peak resort and decided to try a local brewery. Not only was the beer outstanding but the owner was just as much fun!

Love their beer. Service is great and their outdoor space is perfect place to drink a beer when it is nice out.

Through all of it, Lindsay was absolutely incredible. I honestly don't know how she did it. Even as the restaurant filled up, she somehow made it feel like I was her only table. My drink never got low, everything arrived quickly, and she checked in at exactly the right moments without ever making it feel rushed. She was friendly, sharp, and completely on top of everything happening around her. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants, and service like that is rare. Lindsay handled a packed room with the kind of calm, attention, and professionalism you usually only hope for. She turned an ordinary meal into one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. District Bar and Grill is lucky to have her. Lindsay set the bar so high that most restaurants don't even come close

The food also exceeded our expectations. The fried brussels sprouts and salmon were both superb and perfectly cooked. The wine selection was large, with both tried-and-true options like Pinot Grigio and less common wines. Overall, a great meal and we will be returning!

We enjoyed for dinner: To Start- Warm baguette with herbed oil, along with Naan Tacos (yummy) For Entrées: Caribbean Style Statler chicken (could've used a hint of scotch bonnet & ginger, but it was good), and the Common Burger (delicious) with matchstick fries. We were too full to try dessert. No worries, there will definitely be a next time. Enjoy! **Oh, I hear they are expanding due to the high demand. Reservations are necessary** Thank you

The main feature is locally sourced fresh ingredients prepared in an unusual way. I loved the crispy soy/maple salmon on a bed of hash consisting of brussel sprouts, potatoes and celery root puree. My wife Statler chicken was crisp and juicy. But you can also get incredible looking sandwiches. My eyes locked onto the cod reuben. How unusual, yet easy to understand. Entrees stay in the mid 30s, so don't expect a cheap night if you add an appetizer, wine and dessert. (Btw, ask to tour the wine closet). However, farm fresh food is worth it to me. The room is good looking and comfortable. It is a little noisy with all the happy people, but not too bad at all. I will be back. And I will bring my picky friends visiting from New York.

I will say as far as food goes, there are bagged snacks for consuming and that is about it. If you want a warm snack or meal, you will be left wanting more from that stance. However, if you want to enjoy a pint and enjoy some "snick-snacks" as we call them... then Roaring 20s can definitely be your spot. They DO have a bit of a limited lineup, but it is a varied lineup. When we were there, there were crisp Kolsches, Czech Pils, mid-range lagers, both west and NE IPAs, and rounding out the offerings were a darker porter and stout. So, despite a limited lineup the offerings can appeal to all tastes despite the limited number of beers on tap. Oh, and there is also there was sangria on tap. If you want a meal, search elsewhere. If you want a nice pint/drink - you can't go wrong here (in my opinion). I will visit again if I'm in the area, not think twice about it, and be completely happy with my decision(s) as well as the drink(s) in front of me ;) Happy drinking y'all!
