    MONSTERS, harmful and greedy. Rounds of antibiotics over 3 months instead of having her see another oral surgeon in another office they forced her to wait while he himself got out of the hospital. THEN, the horribly invasive oral surgery didnt work because ofcourse you cant fix a bad retreatmemt with a surgery that has nothing to do with the root problem. He even put the graft in the wrong way. After 6 rounds of antibiotics and many failed, horribly painful, and expensive trips to this place, they did nothing but charge her for pain and suffering. 6 months of terrible treatment, getting bullied, and then finally finding a good place my wife was finally treated at this last week. If you enjoy torture, pain, and wasting your hard earned money on them torturing you and poisoning you with antibiotics this is the ticket to hell. They DO NOT care about their patients or humanity to say the least.

    I was a patient at K&E Dental for several years and was generally happy with Dr. Lee and the care I…read morereceived. Unfortunately, my most recent experience completely changed my opinion. A couple of weeks ago, I went in for a chipped tooth. New X-rays revealed a cavity on a different tooth. When Dr. Lee reviewed my 2025 X-rays, he realized the cavity had already been present and he had missed it. He sincerely apologized and explained that I now needed a crown. I really appreciated his honesty and transparency. When I received the estimate for the crown, the cost seemed high even with insurance. Given that the cavity had been missed the previous year, I felt it was reasonable to ask about a discount. After contacting the office three times without a response, I was finally offered 5% the day of my appointment, which felt dismissive. Instead of meeting with Dr. Lee, they had me meet with Dr. Lin, the owner. He said that even if the cavity had been caught earlier, it still would have required a crown and he would not offer any discount because it would come out of his own pocket. Dr. Lee had not previously indicated a crown was needed in 2025, and his apology suggested the cavity had worsened over time. Dr. Lin dismissed that entirely. When I said I would have the crown done elsewhere but still wanted my chipped tooth fixed (since it was urgent), Dr. Lin told me he was not comfortable treating me because I questioned their business practices and suggested it would be best if I left. I also noticed a $475 charge on the estimate that did not align with my insurance explanation of benefits (I brought printed copies with me to show them). When I asked about it, Dr. Lin said there was no need to discuss it since I would not be having the procedure there, which raised further concerns about billing transparency. It's disappointing because my experience with Dr. Lee had been positive. In the end, refusal to take any financial responsibility for a mistake made by a doctor, and dismissal of billing questions have led me to take my business elsewhere. I recommend patients carefully review estimates and insurance coverage before proceeding with treatment and hope nothing goes wrong with your care.

They recommended several procedures that totaled $4,700, many of which could have been covered by insurance. It felt like they were trying to get me to pay out of pocket instead of properly working with my insurance. I also waited a month so my insurance could approve a root canal, but the office never sent the prior authorization. I had to call my insurance myself and ask them to request it from the dental office. This experience was very frustrating. It felt like they were more focused on getting as much money as possible rather than helping patients. I've since gone to *Cristine Zapanta Chavez DDS*, and I highly recommend them. They are kind, gentle, and they wait for insurance authorization before doing root canals. With them, my wisdom teeth removal, root canals, and fillings were all covered by insurance, and I haven't had to pay anything out of pocket. They also try to save teeth and avoid unnecessary root canals when possible. If you want to save yourself time, stress, and money, I recommend checking them out instead. I was told it "should be covered by insurance" and that I'd only pay the difference, so I agreed to move forward. At checkout, I paid $350 and was told I'd be reimbursed after insurance was billed. Later, I found out my insurance didn't cover it at all. My concern wasn't that insurance denied the claim, it was that I was led to believe my coverage had been verified. Had I known I would likely be responsible for the full cost, I would have waited until I was financially ready. I asked if they could offer a discount given the misinformation, but after more than two months of trying to reach the manager, I was told there was nothing they could do because I had received the service. What disappointed me most was the lack of accountability and willingness to address my concerns. I ended up canceling my follow-up appointment and won't be returning. I would recommend confirming that your insurance has actually been verified before agreeing to any treatment that could leave you paying out of pocket.

So I decided to give Bright Now one last try. And it's again another nope. My appointment was at 3pm, I waited in the lobby until 4pm and was finally called but had to wait another 5-10 minutes for the x-ray machine to be free. According to one of the dental assistants (Tes is her name I think), they have to share the x-ray machine with the staff dealing with the orthodontics. Which I think is a change that has negatively impacted the business. I was also denied a cleaning because I needed my deep cleaning done first. The whole purpose of my visit was to get my cleaning done, and I did not have that accomplished. I wish I would've been told this sooner or if this information had been disclosed in some way possible. I am very disappointed and know now that I can no longer trust any Bright Now location; they are all the same in some aspect or form. Staff is very friendly, but it seems that there is no organization or patients are being overbooked. I will not be returning here again.
